Stuff like this has existed for years tho, both Kryolan and Ben Nye have products for teeth. Theirs are made for theather tho, they had different colors for different porpouses, like a white one for extra white teeth (I think they use it for the blue-haired host in the hunger games, they have videos of the production of the film on youtube) and a black to use for broken teeth, etc. This isn't exactly new, but how they are selling it is innovative tho...

Tooth paint has been around for awhile. Mehron has Tooth FX. I’ve used it a couple years ago and it was so gross. Same smell and it peeled inside my mouth and there were chunks everywhere. I blacked out my teeth tooth and my friend them when look like sharpe, carved teeth. It was funny.

There is a def learning curve with this stuff. Personally I only use the white as as base for the pink glitter one. Idk why you it would make your teeth sensitive. I've used it several times with no issue. It's super easy to remove and doesn't damage teeth... But hey saying that it hurts sounds better then just saying you don't like it.

normally this stuff is used for sfx/horror makeup purposes. colors other than black are for your teeth to look gross, like bloody or rotten, not to be pretty and cute lmao. the black is really cool for different purposes though.

lol They're trying to market tooth enamel paint now? Kryolan and Mehron has had them for years for sfx artists. (I used to use them for horror cosplays.)
If you wanna play around with something extra fun, PPI Premiere Products Inc. has a product called Mouth FX, which dyes your entire mouth the color you choose for a temporary span of time.
It's much more comfortable than tooth enamel paints, but much more intense.
Are these things safe ?? I’m only asking you cause it seems you have the knowledge and experience! 💛
@@brittany5872 Yeah, they're formulated to be safe if consumed. Tooth enamel paints are a pain to keep on and should really only be used for photos or sfx situations (haunts, videos, etc.)
They are harder to keep on if you're doing prolonged costume work like a convention.
Mouth FX visually packs a huge punch, I personally have Feeling Blue and Pitch Black. They taste like vanilla and mint. They cover the teeth, gums, tongue, etc.
The down side to Mouth FX is that you have to keep adding a drop as the color dissipates. But it's very pigmented.
So, there are pros and cons to both.
I used to study sfx, have two life casts of my face, have made prosthetics for myself and others, so you learn a lot along the way.

Tooth paint is something I’ve used for years in the theatre group for the last 26 years. I’ve never seen any other reason to use it. It’s not something I’d want on my teeth otherwise! Imagine eating with it on!!!

I CAN NOT I have some weird issue we’re teeth stuff makes me super triggered. I literally gag if I see someone touch teeth. I gag the entire time I brush my teeth. I have to pep talk myself every morning and night like, “come on, girl. You got this. We are not going to throw up tonight. We are just going to brush our teeth and go to bed!!” Rarely works. So.....
