Not gonna lie, if someone told me of a roach vs muta game, that is not the the outcome I would've predicted
This is actually the typical outcome. With the Roach’s armor and how the Muta’s shots bounce 3 times with very low damage, it takes Mutas a long time to kill Roaches. Roaches are able to kill Queens, tech, and Drones before the Mutas are able to DPS them down.

@@mcfligh137 Still work in lower league because people down there is slow enough for muta to mass up and win against roach.
so, uThermal --- what about proxy hatch in their main base, but you 'stack' 2 drones to look like one -- so when it crosses map and goes in main, it appears to be one.. then when past entry to base, split them out of view, continue scout with first drone, then second goes to far corner out of view and drops hatch :)
or could stack 4-5, 1 to be seen scouting, the others to drop hatch and spines...
99% sure he's done this in his proxy hatch to GM series....
I feel like a few banes wouldve won the game before mutas were out, its actually unfair in ZvZ how quickly one baneling can ruin a battle (wp on the game and keep up the awesome work)

The main thing I know about zerg is that you tank with roaches till theyre red HP then morph them into ravagers. 😁

- Burrow banelings
- Void rays only
- Droperlord+Queen proxy creep spread
- Fast lib range harass
- Vikivac harass
- Burrow rush (ZvP, drone burrows on protoss' natural before Nexus)
- Bunker rush

Two base mutas is trash. You sent him into a panic earlier and made him mineral dump into zerglings and you could tell he was stockpiling his gas. I think you made the correct choice earlier when you saw that spine and him trying to make a wall which is to expand and drone harder. ZvZ is pretty cancer and its just a balancing act of trying to drone as hard as you can while sending zerglings at eachother.

But that would make this into a pure micro battle and wreck any chance of mind games.

tried to get back into sc2 and made master np, but zerg is so basic and boring to play. there's no variability nor any "troll" builds like mass reapers or mass oracles. I wish hydras were accessible from hatch rather than lair...
I have heard Zerg described as "the most optimized race." Meaning there really isn't variability to it once it starts getting competitive.
If a bunch of roaches are surrounded by lings, start morphing some of the outer-most roaches.
Extra armour while morphing means the lings waste lots of hits on them.
ZvZ is likely the worst matchup in entire game.
How the hell is that a "proxy" hatch? A proper proxy hatch is in their main or at their natural. That shit is in the latest of late game locations with basically the same travel time as running from your natural. At best, this is a "hidden natural".

First of all it's more a hidden expansion than a proxy hatch. And second of all you are an ex pro gamer. Everything you do is OP against a 5k mmr player. Smurfing much?
