"Playing normally" is not really a thing in SC2: - Greedy ("normal"/"cheese") builds counter safe ("normal") builds. - Safe build counter aggressive ("cheese") builds. - Aggressive ("cheese") builds counter greedy ("cheese") builds. There is some nuance to this, but this is the core dynamic. Players who play greedy (or never play aggro) complain about aggressive cheeses and think everyone should play either safe or greedy. Players who play safe (or never play greedy) complain about greedy builds and think everyone should play safe or aggressive. Players who play aggressively (or never play it safe) complain about safe builds and thing everyone should play either full greed or full aggro. It's really only players who play all three ways that don't complain much, since they actually understand that every build has its weaknesses and is "cheesy" in its own way. But there are almost no players that don't have preferences here, so that group of non-complainers is small. Marc is... arguably in the third group? He always plays with early aggression "fur fun" or with as much greed as he thinks he can get away with (also "for fun"), never playing safe (because it is "not his jam"). And his opinion, as far as I have noted in the years of watching him, is that early aggression limits what you can do in the game - he complains about exactly what you'd expect a greed player to complain about. And that's fine... but anyone who complains should be sure to recognize that their opinion here is just one of three - and none of them hold much/any merit.
It's always an interesting game when we get a uThermal vs uThermal matchup XD
....did Marc just get the uThermal treatment?
I pet a squirrel recently. Was a good day.
First time on channel 2 - weird to not see you!
One of my favorite videos so far haha, it was gorgeous

Great comment
I feel like you could've distilled this into half the length.
That makes so much sense, ty!
Even transferable to other ("good" = balanced) online games like Dota, wc3, aoe2 etc..
@@TheGuyCalledX good thing this wasn’t for a grade then …………..?
You could have a series where you are only allowed to have 1 of each unit at a time excluding scv/drones/probes. Allowed to rebuild ones that die
Great game. Confident ling play, no thought of any other ground unit
A true mirror* game.... Bangin'.
I bet it would actually be worth it to have an editor cut that stream up for a video if it still exists
Lol that was crazy
You sound half asleep during this video lol.
I do not know which is worse, marc with a plan which is you losing to a meme build or Marc without a plan which will just torture you until you cry?
My gut tells me Day9 is bringing back Funday Monday. He randomly shows up in my feed and then this happens to Marc? Too coincidental.
Wooh wooh song is the best still blast that in my truck!
Let's go!
Poor Protoss wasn't allowed to have more than two bases, and ling + corrupter is OP, they hit air AND ground, no counter
dude all my games are a failed uthermal build so fun :D
GG.
You sound so tired in this one!
thermy patch zerg confirmed
Not sure if I like this Sarcastic Version of Uthermal! Haha
I would rather watch a 5.5k player who is entertaining, informative, creative, and wholesome than watch a 7k player. Every day of the year.
7k players are too cool. They are good in almost everything, fast enough for everything. Like superheroes, usual players can't perform like them.
Lets goooooooo
As soon as you said "he's doing a thermal build that doesn't work" I was sure you lost.
Let's go!
