Should've done this ages ago. This whole chapters model is holding the game back. Minor but more frequent updates would've been more useful. But they can't release stuff that is ready because it just has to be a part of this major chapter update. It's annoying.
As a simple fix of this issue it could be an actual Rubber propriety for wheels, and a New feature, Tire Pressure, în which we can use a tool, like a Tire Inflator, to give variables from 0 to what ever The tire limit, that will give the wheels a better feel, since they will either be softer or more rigid, that May also fix The bouncy thing on flat ground or anywhere
I think in the question about the draggable wedges they were thinking about deformation scaling and not only placing them as an array. That's why the answer was confusing.
@@nikkiofthevalley I think that in scrap mechanic the array option makes more sense. Maybe they could introduce a different piece that you can deform to mimic different wedge angles but if they do that to the current wedges I feel like wedge gang would never be the same again.
The easiest fix to the sliding wheels issue, is to do something similar to the 'fix' for suspension glitches - namely, to provide a friction control similar to the steering angle on an upgraded seat. And I'm sure they'd adopt it if suggested by a creator with a significant fan base ;-)
They could probably have a sort of "handbrake" - if a creation is left alone for long enough, all physics cease, removing a bunch of lag and prevent it from drifting off somewhere. A player or physics object approaching/interacting with it will release it.
Fixing sliding wheels is pretty easy. You just have to scan for "If seated" if no, then set wheel friction +5 or something. I don't see the problem anywhere. Literally, 5 minutes fix.

Hey ScrapMan, I may have a unique idea for an upcoming Survival series: Nomad Mechanic. The main rules of this sort of Survival are as follows: - You can't stay more than four nights on the same tile (tiles can be eyeballed, as there is no way I'm aware of to exactly pinpoint their borders). If a tile has been previously stayed on for four nights straight, you may revisit it after spending at least 4 nights elsewhere. - You can't make any sort of static base (in a bit more detail, you can't have a permanent placement for your Craftbots and Refineries, instead always having them on movable vehicles - however Dressbots, Cookbots and Collectors can be placed at will throughout the map). - You must not have more than 5 functional vehicles at a time, regardless of their type (boat, truck, car, drone...). You can transform them or dismantle them, but you must never exceed the 5 vehicle limit. - Any and all static structures you decide to create can't contain any beds or respawn points. Those must be placed in a movable vehicle at all times. - You can place beacons at will. - Any resources and structures left on a tile after moving out of it may be collected as long as you don't spend any nights over the limit of four there while doing so. Basically, the idea is to have a sort of "caravan" as your main base, and make all the other vehicles in a way so that they can be either carried by the caravan or towed by it. The main objectives would be to obtain all 3 Spudguns, raid at least 8 different Warehouses and defeat 50 Farmbots. Once all three requirements are met, you may crown yourself the Nomad King, and live happily ever after in your Caravan Palace. P.D.: Get the reference?
If you're gonna do another survival, how about starting with a certain stockpile of parts, or small completed vehicle, but from the start, you are disallowed to collect ANYTHING by hand, you must build a vehicle to do all the resource gathering.
Multiplayer survival with challenges for the world (I’ll list some below) and/or playing co-op. • Base must be attackable from all sides • Can only eat a certain crop • Must fit base in x by x area • Have to always plant crops • Can’t use normal building blocks for base • Can only use blocks up to a certain rating • Base must be in or near scrap city • Hardcore world, one life that’s it

I Would love a co-op mobile base playthrough. Imagine trying to have your whole base able to travel with you. The idea is you set up when you farm but pack up and move when you're not farming.
Just a idea for a new survival, you can't have a actual base. You live on the road with a traveling caravan. You can set up crop plots whenever you need to farm, leave it in one place or take it out each time. But you have to keep moving along with your caravan
Nomadic survival, your base is your resource collector is your delivery vehicle. You only stop to farm, you can leave the dirt/farm area and come and go as you need to farm.
Scrap Mechanic survival idea: Be A Nomad, No permanent base, stay on the move the whole time, possibly keep everything on a vehicle or make temporary bases
for the train idea, they could have some special item like a chunk loader that loads specific areas that it's in always, so you could put that on a train and it would run always, you'd just have to make sure you don't use too many so it doesn't lag the game too much
Bruh tf you talking about. We get about one major update a year (which is still really damn good) and then we get a bunch of smaller updates every year which is great. Gta gets an insane amount of updates in such a short amount of time for a game so large. You gotta learn to appreciate it.
@@alexplays5846 you do know that adding a vehicle is extremely easy? It's just 8mporting a 3d model that maybe took them a day or two to make with a bunch of values and you have a new vehicle. Nice, I was somewhat pleased to get the Q&A and the responses they gave. Seems though that Survival is the focus - and it's taking a while.. :) I look forward to those 'crop' boxes in warehouses being useful - a houseboat or crops up in a treehouse could be neat.
that is cool, and another additive, you must move th3 base EVERY nignt to keep it fresh. If there is no feul to do it, that is an exeption to this rule. also no other vehicles, the base is the only one
for survival, to make things different, try fant mod, you can also add in the extra info mod. that could give you a wider range of things to do so it doesn't end up being "the same"
Only thing other than multiplayer i can think of is doing a playthrough but you have to use vehicles and machines to do everything. No hammering trees, hand refining. Could force you to refine well working vehicles.
It‘s a sandbox game, whoever it bought can do whatever they want. It would be something else, if there was competition in some way. (Official Leaderboards for fastest way of traveling or something like that)
About racing games wheels interaction with the road, they are talking about arcade racers. Full blown simulators use physical contact, tyre deformation and much more.
Also the indoor grow-beds could be balanced by needing to change the dirt every 4 plants, for example. Then we could get some enriched soil from undergroud and put it in the indoor grow-bed. (Enriched soil would last longer)
for the new suvival series you should try to do a speedrun. I think mayby, quickest to kill the big bot, quickest to defeat the biggest raid and quickest warehouse run (no death). another idea is to do a hardcore series.
I got an old idea that might make survival interesting; A sky base, like the old ones that were stuck to the ceiling, but with all the new knowledge and materials you've gained since then
About your lightning theory, how about having them set fire to small sections of forests and create new burnt forest sections because ember's such a finite resource? Also those shrubs all look like tree saplings, so either let us get rid of them or make them grow into new trees so we can have an unlimited supply of wood.
As impractical as it is, it would provide a decent challenge to do a play through as a nomad. Meaning moving base where ever you want, planting crops, harvesting, then picking everything up again and leaving.
I have an idea that would allow the use of indoor grow beds. My idea is that as the grow beds are implemented, they will also add new types of bots. One of these new bots would be able to go in the water and swim to you, while the other bot would be able to fly, and be able to reach you if on an elevated platform of substantial height.
What about a nomad survival series in it you can only spend one or two episode in a certain area after you have a large enough vehicle to transport everything you need and can farm on an ready-made farms that you might find (can place more soil in those locations)
Perhaps make a survival series where you need to stay primarily on water, having a floating water base as your main base. It'll give you more challenges to overcome, and you will eventually end up with a huge aircraft-carrier sized base. I haven't seen other UA-camrs do something like that yet.
New survival series idea: A challenge where you are not allowed to have a permanent base. So a moving base would be totally viable but perhaps not even necessary? Idk. Plant your crops in a small plot every night, raid, harvest, move on, no sticking around! Make the aim to be to just build up a big moving base! Kinda like small scale Mortal Engines. Also thanks for doing this video, kinda wasn't expecting it but was hoping you'd do it all the same :D
This is what I am doing right now as I am still building bases but I am planning to do a full sustainable mobile base/truck like a train, which each wagon will be destined for different purposes, like bedding, cook bot, another with the craftbot and beacon, an oil pump wagon, etc, etc to go around the road
Maybe something to keep survival interesting would be to add a rule that forces you to build a mobile base, like maybe you can't stay in 1 general area for too long. Just an idea. And of course there is always Co-op.
If and when you make that other survival series you should totally explore the world in more detail and maybe try to find the most unique places to build a farm. But probably the most important thing, just do what you enjoy the most!
To keep survival fresh, start a survival series with some other UA-camrs. I wound love to see the multi-player Monday crew survive together!

It‘s a sandbox game, whoever it bought can do whatever they want. It would be something else, if there was competition in some way. (Official Leaderboards for fastest way of traveling or something like that)
Draggable wedges would be amazing
For your second survival series, you should make it a rule that everything you build has to have some over-engendered aspect to it.
About racing games wheels interaction with the road, they are talking about arcade racers. Full blown simulators use physical contact, tyre deformation and much more.
co op surviral
English exe stoped wroking
@@shoty_x1693 Smart.exe stoped working
Also the indoor grow-beds could be balanced by needing to change the dirt every 4 plants, for example. Then we could get some enriched soil from undergroud and put it in the indoor grow-bed. (Enriched soil would last longer)
I think modded survival like johnbane did would be amazing!
for the new suvival series you should try to do a speedrun. I think mayby, quickest to kill the big bot, quickest to defeat the biggest raid and quickest warehouse run (no death).
another idea is to do a hardcore series.
*Moded survival*
WE... NEED... IT...
Try a nomad only series
I think it would be cool and original
You should do a Modded "Scrap Mechanic Survival" series!
You could also try to be nomadic and never really stay in one place i think this would be super fun and interesting also you can explore more then
yes! i literally was just about to leave
I can tell that you made that comment is a rush
why are you in like every scrap mechanic comment section 💀💀
I know and ever comodo gaming commits to I see that sun every where
I got an old idea that might make survival interesting;
A sky base, like the old ones that were stuck to the ceiling, but with all the new knowledge and materials you've gained since then
Scrap should stream his next world
How about a boat base. Oil is easy now. It seems interesting to have to think about weight distribution in a base
While we wait for the big update, you can play survival with mods or a coop series.
About your lightning theory, how about having them set fire to small sections of forests and create new burnt forest sections because ember's such a finite resource? Also those shrubs all look like tree saplings, so either let us get rid of them or make them grow into new trees so we can have an unlimited supply of wood.
Hello scrapman. Where is hank? Is he back with the milk?
Oh I hope he as milk
As impractical as it is, it would provide a decent challenge to do a play through as a nomad. Meaning moving base where ever you want, planting crops, harvesting, then picking everything up again and leaving.
you forgot the most important question "What are your favorite toppings to put on a sandwich?"
Make a co op world using Fant Mod, that would be awesome!
Ayyyyyyy
Edit: I had no idea what to say this just came to mind
ok
I have an idea that would allow the use of indoor grow beds. My idea is that as the grow beds are implemented, they will also add new types of bots. One of these new bots would be able to go in the water and swim to you, while the other bot would be able to fly, and be able to reach you if on an elevated platform of substantial height.
Hello I guesss
I need we searched Elon musk in the workshop
Elon musk is garbo, why would anyone search for that lol
@@GottaSnipe that's why we search for it
What about a nomad survival series in it you can only spend one or two episode in a certain area after you have a large enough vehicle to transport everything you need and can farm on an ready-made farms that you might find (can place more soil in those locations)
Mobile base only.
Getting the craft bot asides, that is.
Perhaps make a survival series where you need to stay primarily on water, having a floating water base as your main base. It'll give you more challenges to overcome, and you will eventually end up with a huge aircraft-carrier sized base. I haven't seen other UA-camrs do something like that yet.
I think it would get laggy very quickly,
That's why most youtubers don't do it
Hey Scrapman! Contact kAN, he's been doing a Co-op SMS Series with Kosmonaut! Maybe he'll let you join his series!
Imagine a Co Op with everyone
I think co-op survival with Moonbo would be awesome
New survival series idea:
A challenge where you are not allowed to have a permanent base.
