This is legit the most creative map design ive ever seen
So much true
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@metelluscimber next challenge pack it's a sinking boat? 😅
Fr tho
@@luismlc89Titanic😅
Thanks for playing, Scrapman! Always fun to watch you play. At the very end there are many red eyes darting around in the distance but that didn't show up.
Have you considered developing your own game? Your maps are incredible
@@haydenratcliffe1138 That's a great compliment, thank you. I dip my toe into creative stuff every now and then. This is about my speed. I don't quite have the drive or time these days to really get into the industry. I appreciate the kind words 😀
Your challenges are super cool!! Great work, mate!!
@@notonlyhuman6073 thank you much!
Yeah I figured there was something in the distance we just weren't able to see in the video because of youtube's compression. Super cool map though!
That first part with the monster outside the window was my favorite. The way the lights dim when it happens and just the way the shift is executed actually gave me a little start.
Glad it worked 😁
It felt awfully real, like, did anyone else see the eyes?
The weird red block actually makes sense, I think it was meant to pretend the blood is tripping down from the ceiling, that's why it was moving
It kinda reminds me the old minecraft horror maps. Them and this are so good they could be indie games on their own
Same
*They
They and this
@@justsomekidthatsinfinitely7090🤓
I miss those
@@merilynnshark6144x for same
it wasnt visually scary but tbf how do you make a scrap mechanic level scary. its more of a psychological- the ending- with the ingrained sense there will be something wrong. nice level!
6:50 The third challenge immediately reminds me of that short story where a guy kills an old man and buries him in his floor and the phantom heartbeats drives him insane
Is it tell tale heart?
@@-Hangry Yeah, I forgot the name lol
@@Echo_the_half_glitchno it's the raven
I played it a few days ago. I was amazed by the passion and effort that went into it
I need more of this haha. Dope work. Dude could write movies and what not.
Thank you! I might just do that.
That was a very well made challenge and it was definitely kinda scary.
I think the monster wasn't defeated after all and its keeping you in a constant loop of nightmares
That was a great map, the creator clearly has a knack for storytelling
Thank you 😀
When the floor started doing the heartbeat thing it reminded me of "The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allan Poe.
Plot is basically paranoid narrator lives with an old man who has a weird eye. The narrator is so bothered by this guys eye that he wants to kill him and starts planning for a week. He watches the guy sleep every night but can't kill him bc the guys eyes are closed so the narrator doesn't feel the pressure of the eye. One night the old man wakes up and the narrator kills him. After that he chops up the body and hides the parts under the floorboards. Later when the police investigates the case the narrator feels so guilty that he starts to hallucinate and he hears the heart of the dead guy beating. As it grows louder and louder he thinks the police might be hearing it too so he admits that he killed the man and hid the body.
Throughout the story the narrator tells himself over and over again that he's perfectly sane.
That's what Scrapman keeps telling himself. That's what he keeps telling himself...
Wow the story telling of the map is pretty cool man
I could watch this kind of stuff for hours! This is amazing- I can't imagine the work they had to do. Also, this kind of horror is my favourite for sure
Glad you liked it! I'd say about 60 hrs from start to finish on this one. Cyberscrap 3.0 was close to 200 hrs total.
@@metelluscimber considering I sometimes spend days tinkering on a single vehicle, I'd say that's pretty fast! I hope we get to see more horror stuff from you in the future
@@the_Acaman thanks! Yeah, I seriously lose time and go into a fugue state sometimes.
I was shivering the entire time!😂 also there was a thunderstorm just outside my home, which made everything way scarier.
I had to miss your song because I had a baseball game😅
That was honestly scary and very well designed for a scrap mechanic map
thank you
This is definitely one of the most creative challenges yet, and it also reminds me somewhat of a Doom II mod called MyHouse.wad. Essentially, it follows a story about the character's father (i think, dont quote me on that), and as you progress through the game, your house slowly starts transforming becoming more demented. Its definitely a good game, but it may be just a little too mature to play it on this channel
the fourth level was nostalgic bc of how much it felt like a level in metal arm where a friend got captured and we have to kill a boss before our friend dies
Scrapman: “now what kind of…”💥BOOM💥
I've been watching your videos for years and I just wanna say thank you for the many laughs and also love the music you make. Thanks for everything.
Just me who woke up like ten minutes ago and had a dream that there were ants in my mouth and my dad's girlfriend told me to be quite
Meanwhile im just upset the candles didn't slowly melt in between levels
Funny enough, I thought about doing something with the candles involving blueprint editing (to keep it vanilla) but I ran out of time.
Very impressive challenge!
Such a sweet map.
Really coll challenge. I'm noticing that there's a lot more psychological horror content on UA-cam now. Whether in films or games.
the true type of horror. Jumpscares are so boring imo, and the reason I stopped watching horror movies in general
This is total genius...
Glad you liked it 😄
16:25 calmly says “oh look, nightmares beyond comprehension
I liked that as well
The upside down noise sounds like the totk noise when you beat a shrine
Driving away feels too good to be true
It is
Me fighting a totebot is already scary enough
I can't imagine how much time went into making this map, it's amazing!
About 60 hrs, and lots of love 😊
18:10 now this is what i call an open floor plan
I feel like this was extremely superliminal like, I suggest playing that game!
18:06 Nooowww what kind o- *KA BLOOEY*
The passage into the upsidedown genuinely made me queasy, just a little tho
It made me even more queasy to build and play test it! I'm glad it had the intended effect, and that it wasn't TOO much.
Imagine someone seeing scrap mechanic for the first time and this is the video
I truly hope that I have disturbed some people using a game that relies on blocks and paint.
I didn't know farmbots are immune to hammers.
is it just me or does it feel like slanted blocks pull you down faster than free falling
Music was amazing
4:57 thats supposed to be blood dripping from the ceiling.
The hallway is "beating" 😉
14:56 "I live in Spain without the A !"
You should try "Locks & Keys" challenge by "Rooooooooler AR". I'd like to see you solve it 🤩
4:58 i think this was meant to simulate blood dripping
*eldritch demon monster devours scrapman*
Also scrapman: “WOW this is SO COOL!”
I have fought watching it all freaking day but FIIIINE...
after the exploding oven it reminds of Silent Hill The Room.
i gotta go back and play the game again.
That was exactly one of my influences!
I’m willing to bet that the ending if you would’ve looked back it would’ve been horrible
Oh I didn't think of that. I should have put glowing red lights and tentacles coming out. Oh well, next time.
cant help but imagine this as a full horror game in UE5.
Hey, I don't know how to work in UE5 but I'll be happy to work as a writer/consultant!
I literally cannot wait for that new update
Very scary for this game
this reminds me so much of superliminal, just the theme of recursive dreams
I love these weird, creative challenges!
..i haven't watched this content in YEARS. Gah nostalgia im lucky this even popped up in my recommended-
Praises to the author to putting this much effort for a great experience
Thank you! 😀
I was pretty scary but i was cool and like also the music.
I actually got the chance to playtest this, Im acquaintances with the creator. Hes pretty cool!
I love these videos
10:25 DO ITTTTTTTT!!!!
biblically accurated farmbot
Do a part 2 of this and then maybe make an animation of a horror for this
I had a nightmare like this before…
A spudgun with five bullets
Same feelin as
A gun with one bullet
When something is scary scrapman goes this is so cool
17:10 i think this is a reference to minecraft story mode espicially the way he gets the hammer
I've never played Minecraft but I've been told I should.
Where are those movie comments at when we need them???
This challenge is absolutely amazing
Day 9 of asking ScrapMan to make a 2v2 video where each team makes a cargo plane that launches a glider one person makes the glider another makes the cargo plane and whoever's glider goes the most far wins then each round both teams get 1-5 mins to upgrade the builds but they cant communicate while building so u have to be very careful with what u change.
The cargo plane would launch the glider at a certain point or after a certain amount of time idk what would work better.
I think this would be a great video and I really want to see it, keep up the amazing work you make my day every time I watch one of your videos.
That would make a great video :)
5:00 I think that's supposed to be blood dripping
yup! if you listen really closely you can hear the drip of a single drop every few seconds. It was supposed to be from you blowing up the explosive in the oven, and now you're in purgatory :D
You should re visit the plane inside a plane thing now that we have more (smaller) winds and such.
Need pt 2 😮
how do you do this like you do videos almost daily and your viewers have a LOT to see keep it up man great work!
2:43 it was right here when the UA-cam on my phone crashed
The ending is you moving out
Got some poltergeist vibes when playing this a little bit ago.
It was a haunted home with a ghost in it
that's right. and he tries to get away, but his nightmare still won't end...
8:30 you should have said hank is that you
I may have found out how to save urself from the grimes shake
the story was you face your fears
The first one I literally jumped 3 feet
5:03 in lets put together some clues the ceiling fan fell off revealing an ominous red light and a shotgun appeared you used it to blow up your oven and crawled into a meat tunnle apeared in your house but upside down and the hole and tunnle from the oven explosion was gone and in its place their was a blood splatter in the spot you stood when the iven detonated and crime scene tape Surrounding the space as if you somhow died in that oven explosion you caused
You got it! Classic Silent Hilly type stuff 😄
Yes perfect video at 3 am with COVID
for me it's 2:02 PM
Nice
For me its 6 which is nice
I wonder how long this took to make
About 60 hours from start to finish 😀 Nothing compared to the 200 hrs for Cyberscrap 3.0 though. I almost lost my mind with that one.
I think that was a bit interesting if you think about it it's a bit like a dream within a dream think about it that person must have had to use a reference to make this
i almost thought it's ch 2
waw this is the best one i ever watch!!!
Earliest I've ever been to a scrapman video
Scrapman you were clearly paranoid after the four nightmare trails and thought that the cemented road was a trap😐
Scrap Mechanic can be a nightmare! Have you experienced the physics?!
THE REAL NIGHTMARE IS YOU SCRAPMAN!!! evidence : 21:38
(he left the fridge and freezer open)
Cool map
Was that really the end?
Yeah. It was tough to tell, but it was supposed to be you try to drive away, run out of gas, start walking, see a bunch of red eyes darting around in the distance. Scrap Mechanic is tricky.
@@metelluscimber ik :3 I was saying it like you know in games where they say the end? And such
@@Eternal_Night69 or old movies where they say "The End...?" Haha
@@metelluscimber yeah that's what was going through my mind when he hit the end
Its not an escape room, its just a room.
Scrapman: ty for dying
major ultrakill vibes from some of those levels
Overall it's pretty good and interesting as well
Fork Handles
I don't know where you saw fork handles???
Um,🤔 how deep is the seventh circle of hell.🤨
I would love to see Scrapman play Kitbash Model club
I get excited when Scrapman upload a video 🥰
feed my sheep, lmao
