I hope they keep expanding the Hercules line, cut off tools etc as you mentioned.
I can attest to that line as being durable, been abusing their 1/4" impact driver & compact 1/2" for a while.
Would put the power & durability right up there with Dewalt/Milwaukee. I think there's a video showcasing the Hercules Ultra-Torque providing more breakaway torque than Milwaukee actually.
Milwaukee has gone up in price by quite a bit the last couple of years, this space needs more competition to help keep prices down, options are always a good thing.

    Hello again, Tony
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 There's another reason to stay with the brushless tools. Safety, brush tools can produce sparks. If your going to use your tools around the fuel systems. Go brushless and stay safe.

If I weren’t invested in 18v Ridgid already I’d totally consider the Hercules/Bauer battery tools. I’m not a professional or someone who uses tools everyday. Just the occasional project and home/auto maintenance type use.

Hercules should have went with milwaukee m12 style battery for their 12v lineup to compete with that form factor.

Ive been rocking Bauer for about 2 years now. I use them regularly as a DIYer. Compared to the old blue Ryobi I used to have, it's night and day.

Well yeah, comparing it against the "blue" ryobi is a bit twisted. However, I do like the Bauer and Hurcules!

@@jkmarshall3553 I get that. It just goes to show the advancement of tools over the years. I was able to do everything with the blue Ryobi but the brushless Bauer stuff is at a whole new level. I did have Makita 18v for a short time. Fantastic tools but just way too expensive to keep adding to the line.

I am a recent fan of Hercules power tools. Their 20v brushless tools are really good especially the hammer drill, impact driver and impact wrenches. I also really like the 12v extended ratched. I'm really waiting for their brushless 12v impact wrenches and drivers.

My Hercules brushless does every bit as well as my Dewalt brushless XR. I'm actually not sure which I would rather use.

I’ve been switching from Walmart’s Hart brand to Bauer. I like Hart but their bare tools have become so expensive. Bauer has all the different tools that I could need, with more consistently being added, and the price is so much better than Hart. Just look at bare impact drivers. Hart’s is close to $90 to $100, the Bauer is $40. I just can’t justify adding to my Hart collection. I still use my Hart tools, I used the 20v nailer yesterday as a matter of fact. As I need new tools I’ve just been buying Bauer.

@@TonyTheTechnician I am. I’m just a DIYer, but the power and reliability has definitely been there. I like their diverse lineup. I got their 3 1/2 20V planer, basically for one project and I’ll tell you what, the number of times I’ve used it since is surprising. Same way with the grinder with the cutoff wheel. I’ve used it so many times for stuff that pops up and I don’t weld.🤣🤣 Having the right tools for the job has definitely made DIY projects more enjoyable and has given me more confidence to tackle some things that previously I may have shied away from. And the Bauer price points are nice, I feel like I’m not spending an arm and a leg and so far all the 20V and corded tools I’ve gotten have met or exceeded my expectations. Good video, thanks for posting and have a great rest of the week.

For reference 2000 inch pounds = just over 23 million mm grams (harbor freight’s preferred torque measurement)
