donald to his head cracked magica's amulet in s2 he accidently crashed on the moon which provided penny the chance to stop lunaris plus louie told della that donald taught him the moon theme every night which got her motivation back and in this season he shielded scrooge
I am still shocked how *easily* he *terminated* his own henchmen and partners in crime! He might started as non evil but he ended as an actual antagonist
The other vultures were clones though.. So it doesnt matter to him.. But on Black Heron.. It was a lil questionable. But i guess he had enough of her telling that he is a villain.
The moment Scrooge realized it was Bradford's fault Della disappeared, you can see the rage bubble in his face knowing he spent years thinking it was his own fault and lost his family and most of his fortune over Bradford's sabotage. The day where everything went wrong, and Scrooge was broken.
I hate how vultures and buzzards are always made the bad guys just to keep on going with that stereotype of them being evil and rotten. But I suppose in this case it fits Bradford.
It's interesting that he blames Scrooge for the moon invasion, but in reality, he accelerated the moon invasion by getting Della to take the Spear. That sent her to the moon.
Also Lunaris was planning it way before Della even took the spear. She only gave him the plans for the ship and he took the advantage to get the Moonlanders to invade earth.
He didn't tell della to take the spear of selene. He simply leaked the information about the spear. Della CHOSE to take it of her own free will. She was an adult who made her own decisions. She didn't HAVE to take it. She CHOSE to. And wasn't she warned by donald that space travel was too dangerous and that she had kids on the way and had responsibilities but she refused to listen ?
@@giganticomega6821 bradford took advantage that della was a adventure hes still at fault being he told her about she would never took the spear if she didn't know
He's also responsible for Magica De Spell's release, cause without Webby and Della's disappearance Lena likely wouldn't have been created or able to steal the dime.
Bradford revealing that he was the reason that Della stole the Spear of Selene and got lost on the moon, all so he could hurt Scrooge and isolate him. 1) What makes it worse is that not only did Bradford hurt Scrooge: he hurt the entire McDuck family, causing Donald to never speak to Scrooge for ten years, the boys to never know who their mother was and Della stuck on the moon and not seeing her children grow up. 2) Speaking of "isolate", while Bradford is showing Scrooge his slideshow, he mentions that he had wanted to isolate him, first showing a picture of Bradford glaring at Scrooge and Duckworth at a Christmas party *and then* the second picture shows Scrooge sadly hanging up a picture of Duckworth. *With implications that Bradford may have been responsible for his death somehow.*
@@maddiekoester7785 that one is a bit of a stretch since Scrooge was draining alot of money and considering how many people his businesses support, it might have been the one time Bradford was honest
ironically, that's also what led to the shadow war, because magica only managed to free herself because scrooge was valuable due to his family leaving and the moonvasion only happened since della was stuck in space. bradford is responsible for the events he accuses scrooge of.
I really like Bradford as the archvillain of the Ducktales series, it works so well thematically and I like how his motivation is sound given that we've seen Louie in a similar position. Also I don't really believe Black Heron was sent into oblivion when she fell into the portal. Every other time she fell from a great height she used her cyborg arm to either escape or lost the cyborg arm in an attempt to grab something. I think she tampered with the portal, knowing she'd deliberately irritate Bradford and get pushed in, to have it send her to a different dimension. I think if we ever get a Darkwing Duck spinoff series we'll see Darkwing Duck, Launchpad, and Gosalyn encounter Black Heron and the Bradford clones while trying to rescue Gosalyn's grandpa.
That was a brilliant theory actually. I think Bulba, Hammerhead Harrigan, a more intelligent and competent Steelbeck, and Tuskerini aka the owner of Funso's will get involved. I'm 88% sure the latter was working for FOWL by agreeing to use one of his amusement centers as an outpost in Duckburg. Negaduck could also make a comeback, though he would be his own man and focused on revenge against DW and LP for humiliating him
There is also the fact that Bradford said if Scrooge was thrown in he would likely find a way out of it. Implying that it may not be foolproof as it seems and it is possible that someone may find a way out of the void the vortex traps them in or it may actually just do what it was intended and send them to another universe or dimension that Bradford didn't know of. Also Heron may become the main villain if she returns in Darkwing Duck. We already knew she was in a way the puppet master behind Bradford's actions that made him corrupt. So it would make sense.
Bradford is the most serious villain in the entire series because people like him exist in real life. There are people out their who sees themselves as the good guy even if what they are doing is wrong.
I bet she'd also be slightly ashamed for being part of the reason why he turned out that way. Forcing him to go on all those adventures when he wasn't interested, not listening to him when he said no.
The tragedy of my OC the Smiler is that he was mutated into a demonic killer by Bradford's negligence, robbing the Smiler of his future. But when he tries to use the Harp of Mervana to expose the 'wolf in sheep's clothing', not only does it go wrong and Izzy tries to justify Bradford to the harp, but Izzy blames the accusations on the Smiler after his demonic attributes are accidentally revealed to her. If Isabella met modern Bradley AND Catlock (the Smiler's real name), she would be heartbroken at how her favourite grandson was (as her other grandson (Smiler) put it) 'No better than me'; of course Brad yelling back with 'You kill people'!
Bradford is sympathetic...kind of. He was dragged along on these terrifying 'adventures' by someone who obviously wasn't paying attention ( if she was she would have noticed how scared and upset he looks in all those photos) and saw the damage irresponsible adventurers where causing to normal people. Of course his 'solution' is more then a little.. villainous.
In a certain way, any child who was forced to go on one of the adventures that Bufford was forced to go on would be left with various traumas and what's more, in the photographs, little Bufford is seen with constant expressions of fear, terror or nervousness. In addition to noticing that after growing up Bufford was permanently affected (it is seen during his presentation as since his graduation he never showed any expression of joy or happiness) demonstrating not being able to show other emotions that are not strong such as anger or fear and perhaps nervousness (the last being the easiest to show due to his various traumas)
Not all kids are full of adventurous vigor like Donald's nephews. Some kids, nervous and shy by nature, like reading books in a quiet library, where they can learn skills and be at peace without anything which would endanger their delicate psyche. Ruin that kid's inner peace and certainly he would see only the worst in anything what he was forced to be part of, along with every injury he had from these adventures, because Bradford was never the most athletic bird in the world. If he said no in that matter, he would only hear in return "You don't mean that." or "You will appreciate it.". If Bradford was not dragged into adventures, he would become for example a stern, but ultimately noble, scholar. Instead, consumed by his past, he became a greedy and ruthless businessman.
Regardless of his past trauma, he still took things too far. He conspired against Scrooge and his family for his own goals, and tore that family apart knowing the leaked info would have Della running at the opportunity of adventure. Sure, you could say he was forced down the wrong path, but it doesn’t excuse the wrong he does. He literally tried to murder people. He even smiled with joy seeing the pain and anguish in Scrooge’s face when he told him about leaking the spear to Della. He really needed a therapist or something.
@Jawesomness16 bradford just let Della know about existence of this rocket, he didn't force her(if he did, della would tell to scrooge about it, but she didn't even know that bradford is villain), he didn't know that Della will emidiatly will go on rocket for joyride, she didn't check if there was a space storm there, not even waiting for her kids to hatch. It's all Della's fault, it was her her choice, her desicion, her inability to wait, she stoled rocked. You can say that it's Bradford's fault that he torn family apart, because he let Della know about spear earlier, but you should know that if della's plan space adventures will go successfully, because even without bradford they will eventually go to space, they will put earth to galactic-scale danger, that will be worse than moonvasion (just like Rick Sanchez provoked the intergalactic government to earth and they used a death ray that killed many innocent people). It was implied earlier in season 1 episode "jaw$" that scrooges unpredictable adventures does put innocent people in danger without any villains involved, HE DESTROYED THE ORPHANAGE, and besides that episode there's many examples of that. Even tho I don't justify Bradford's actions like erasing living people who ties with adventures, but you should try understand bradford. Looks like bradford didn't have parents, he only has a grandmother. Isabella Finch was a terrible grandmother because she instilled her personal interests in her grandson and forced him to go with her on dangerous unpredictable adventures when Bradford was not personally interested, he doesn't want this and has the right, but Isabella still forcing him, claiming that adventures are fun and educational, only traumatized the child who was not interested in adventures. Then Bradford dedicated his life to stopping the chaos through s.h.u.s.h, f.o.w.l. and mcduck's c.e.o. On the one hand he is right, how much longer should ordinary citizens live in fear of unpredictable danger that Scrooge's family causes, because he himself knows what it's like, he wanted everything to be normal, just like Donald in a sitcom episode. Only Donald learned to accept his family as it is thanks to a healthy environment, when Bradford had no one in his environment, only terrible grandmother who didn't understand her grandson and forced him in her personal interests, and probably died on her last adventure, ludvig who also didn't understand bradford, at the same page with isabella, villains that only trying to make villain out of bradford, and they are hard to be controlled and Bradford became crazy of this, because of terrible environment and trying to controll everything. Bradford is good villain, he doesn't deserve hate or slander. The scene there he broke promise by dropping Donald feels forced and out of character just to make people hate Bradford and make his sort of death satisfying, just like forsed scene with Toffee that he broke promise that he "killed" moon's daughter, claimed that she's gone just for sake of make viewers hate toffee and writers give him rushed anticlimatic and overcruel death, thinking that will satisfy viewes, not realizing that toffee's death is a start of downfall of the show, also breaking promise to moon is also out of character, because in season 1 finale toffee kept his promise and let Marco go.
I think that we should get “reboots” of all the shows we have seen in this universe; Like Talespin, Gummi Bears and Darkwing Duck, which could expand the world to something in the scale of the MCU.
Sadly talespin wouldn't work since the only characters they'd be able to use would be the ones we've already seen. Darkwing duck though, I could picture working.
I don't think we'll get any reboots since Ducktales was canceled and had to end early. Pretty much any reboot show that's connected to the Ducktales reboot don't really have a chance at happening.
What Bradford didn't understand the most besides family is the fact LIFE IS MEANT TO BE CHAOTIC. You cannot control everything. Life is meant to be unpredictable. SO you can't control it. So his plan was stupid from start because he couldn't accept life itself is chaos.
Honestly Isabella should not have taken Bradford on those Adventures if they made him feel uncomfortable. All of the kids were on board for the adventures, even if they got sick of them sometimes. Bradford clearly was not and that should have been respected.
Louie wasn’t. He was completely against adventures at the start of season 2 because he felt out of place and wasn’t having fun. It was only when he learned he had the same talent as Della to see the angles and predict things that he started getting invested, and even then it took nearly being killed by the Bombie and learning humility that he came to accept adventure.
@@Dragon_Lair I still don’t think anyone would’ve forced him to go if he’d said no. Why simply saying he didn’t want to go didn’t occur to him I’m unsure, but sometimes children don’t realize things.
To be fair he was forced to go on life threatening adventures against his will by his grandmother as a child when he just wanted a normal life. His grandmother was wrong for forcing that life on him. It traumatized him to the point he became unstable. Not everyone wants to live a life of dangerous adventure. No matter how you look at it that's child abuse and his grandmother was wrong for that. She's the real villain of the story honestly.
I think that’s also part of the reason behind his clones. traditionally Huey, Dewey and Louie are more or less the same character with different colors or clones which is exactly what Bradford, Bentley and Buford were.
Indeed, in a sense, he is what Donald, Huey, Louie, and even Scrooge himself could have become had they taken different paths in life or gave in to fear. Ironically, Bradford actually in an attempt to avoid having his and other people's lives ruined by their adventuring, Bradford actually ruined the lives of the McDucks and Ducks. In a sense, he fails to grasp the first rule of the fanatic, "when you become obsessed with the enemy, you become the enemy."
Like Huey he wanted to keep control off things that he could not always do and had nasty reactions when things did not go like planned...but lacking an anchor that kept Huey from reaching the deep end And th case off DOnald is someone who cant stand being dragged onto adventures or things that genunely bothering him, but lacking instincts and being too selfish. Episode two off season 3 is the one i feel shows the biggest contrast between them.
My mind was actually blown when it was revealed that Webby was a clone of Scrooge McDuck and her real name is April and had two sisters called May and June and then I discovered it was because Webby was actually modelled after Daisy Duck's nieces April May and June from the original Scrooge McDuck comics the comic that served as inspiration for the original DuckTales
A life of adventure is not for anyone and it can be traumatizing such is the case of Bradford who was scarred for life because of the dangerous nature of adventuring. Isabella Finch failed to see at her grandson didn't like to go on adventures but she didn't stop. And that's how Bradford walked a dark path.
Well she probably adopted Webby as her granddaughter after she found her so she technically wasn’t lying since she would legally be Webby’s grandmother and she also did see Webby as her granddaughter so that could be it.
if she was a direct clone, why is she female and not look exactly like young scrooge? She looks different from him so that means she doesn’t have the same exact dna from him. That means there is a female mom out there they took dna from too to make webby. Thus being said, who is webby’s mom?
We not gonna talk about how Bradford was completely aware of the Ducktales Meta of how Scrooge was basically the main character of the franchise and that he couldn't destroy him? Really Bradford shouldn't have been mad at Scrooge and his family, but the writers of the show. XD
This character also showed me that of all the evil forces in the universe, cooperate organizations are the BIGGEST out of all of them. They own everything; the clothes we wear, the food we eat, the things we watch...they even own the government
THAT is why you shouldn’t try to make things less chaotic, kids. You will 100% become a villain and try to defeat Scrooge mc duck. Ps. I love your vids, you seem like a fun person.
What I kept thinking when Bradford said he wasn't a villain and Magica turned him into a bird Bradford: I'm not a villain! Magica: Oh you're a villain alright. Just not a super one. Bradford: What's the difference? Magica *while flexing her Magic*: PRESENTATION!!!!!!
If the Darkwing Duck reboot that will be on Disney+ is a spin-off of this Ducktales series, then Steel Beak who is still smart could probably gather up who's left from F.O.W.L. and Taurus Bulba and they could be enemies for Darkwing, Launchpad, and Goslyn to fight.
What I love about Bradford's plan with the Papyrus of Binding is that he literally didn't think how it would hinder him. Not even counting the contradiction that Scrooge can stay safe with his family if he gives up adventuring when family is the greatest adventure of all, he didn't consider the fact that, since Scrooge DID sign the Papyrus of Binding, the stipulation that he and his family would be safe protected them from anything Bradford threw at them. The moment Scrooge signed the contract, his family were immediately under the complete protection of the Papyrus and its reality altering powers, which was why Bradford couldn't do anything to stop their family as they fought him, thus giving the triplets and Webby the necessary time to find the contradiction in the Papyrus contract. Bradford's plan was literally what defeated his plan. It's hilarious, stupid and brilliant all in one
There is one problemw ith that train off tought: Bradford is a dangerous accountant and he could had foreseen anyone trying to continue Scrooge's work...so he had to add a clause to prevent those type off things..you know how those vultures (no pun intended) always add a fine print to cheat their way out. However....the treatment he gave to the other clones and how he disposed Heron gave a pushback to make the family able to rescue Scrooge on time, since May and June saw Bradford as the monster he really was. So..he still really dug his grave due off his pettyness.
Well, I wouldn’t say Fowl, is truly gone cause if there is a Darkwing reboot coming then it could explore the aftermath of the last adventure with maybe Steelbeak getting a comfortable position since his fate is still up in the air
So the main antagonist of this reboot series wasn't a sorceress, business rival, crime lord, evil deity or an artifact of doom. It's somebody who runs away from his problems.
you know what I think, I think Bradford may have misunderstood the whole point of adventuring with his grandma, and other stuff as well, and was clearly deluded.
One thing I didn't like about the last episode is how Scrooge's enemies (Magica, Glomgold, Beagle Boys) came in and belittled Bradford and say he wasn't a villain, as if they ever came close to defeating Scrooge!
Imagine if all villains in Townsville also heard about Bradford Buzzard who kept on saying he is not villain...while Huey ❤️ Blossom, Dewey 💙 Bubbles and Louie 💚 Buttercup were enjoying watching him defeated as the best supervillain of Ducksburg and Townsville....
1) Any chance you can do a theory video on the Disney's Dragons and see if they're all connected or somehow related to eachother/one another? 2) Any chance you'll ever do any Cartoon Network related videos?
I recently rewatched the first episode and noticed Launchpad (I think) said "family really is the greatest adventure of all" And that's some foreshadowing y'all
Bradford was the only villain with genuine philosophical opposition to Scrooge. Glomgold wanted to be better than Scrooge, Magica wanted revenge against him, and Lunaris wanted supremacy over Earth, but Bradford wanted to end Scrooge's way of life because it violated his beliefs about the world.
0:22 "Guidance", he was forced to. His grandma literally created him as a villain. He hates adventuring because he was forced to do it as a kid against his will. Needless to say, Finch fucked up royal. XD
@@mexicanboi2005 don't forget Lunaris, Bulba and Prince De Leon were all Pure Evil as well. While Bradford was not as destructive as Lunaris (who wanted to destroy the earth) and Bulba (who nearly destroyed all reality) he was much more personally evil directly and indirectly responsible for most of the tragedies in the show like Della's disapereance which kicked the events of the series off and his actions lead to Magica's return and the Shadow War, the Moonvasion and Bulba's evil plan. His so called justifications were just an excuse and any comment he said about himself not being a villain was just delusion. He showed that he enjoyed evil as well as he did smile sadistically numerous times in the finale. He's also the only villain in the show to actually murder characters on screen like his brothers and Black Heron his own allies. He has no honour due to the fact that he was still going to kill Donald even after Scrooge signed his contract along with nearly every other character in the show including children. He's so evil even other villains like Magica who actually call themselves villains hate him which ultimately lead to his downfall.
Y'know, there's one thing I'm curious about: as much as I can understand the reluctance of going on dangerous adventures, (I get it, it's not for everyone, not even me) back when he was a child, why didn't he just simply tell his grandmother that as much as she loved it, he didn't want to be like her? You can't tell me that in between all the journeys he had with Isabella Finch, he couldn't have sat down with her and had a heart-to-heart talk about what he wants to do instead of shutting himself up and helplessly going anyways; and given how amazing she was, I'm sure she would've understood. I guess that's just another thing he doesn't have in common with the McDucks: no family ethics; at least they still have those moments, unlike him.
@@quinnfletcher3906 if this were to happen, basically this would leave bruford not as a villain but more as an antagonist trying to do something he considered right because of his traumas and if we consider things like his awkward way of being, like his problems trying to show emotions outside His constant neutral expression and emotionless tone may be a clear sign that he is left with some type of trauma that caused him to find it difficult or uncomfortable to show emotions other than strong feelings such as fear or anger, the first being that perhaps he can show more easily because of the multiple traumas of the adventures his grandmother forced him to go on.
Bradford blames Scrooge for all of the chaos but in reality he caused all of the major events, Scrooge would never have let his guard down for Magica if his family hadn’t abandoned him due to the Della situation, the Moonlanders would never have reached the Earth so soon if Bradford hadn’t told Della about the spear to ruin the McDuck family, and of course the final adventure and conflicts of the last season was all his doing so, how does he not see himself as the villain, especially after it’s implied he also murdered Duckworth?
I get that Bradford was traumatized by what his grandmother put him through which merits a certain degree of sympathy. But what was wrong with simply going into therapy? Did it never occur to him to rather than commit mass murder to just do see a therapist for help?
Because he wasn't just doing it for himself. He thought by eliminating all Adventure, and Controlling the Chaotic Nature of the Wold, he'd be helping Everyone. So, much like A Lot of some of the Best Villains, "Good Intentions, TERRIBLE Execution"
Thanos wanted to decimate half of the universe just so the universe doesn’t suffer the same tragedy he experienced, while Bradford only wanted to rule the world as a dictator by attempting on eliminate Adventures and everyone related to it.
I literally just realized that F.O.W.L. is pretty much the HYDRA of the Cartoon universe. I wonder if they have anything to do with Colonel Spigot from Talespin... hmm.
I'm just upset that they completely glossed over the fact that Brad revealed the Spear to Della. I think the finale was one of the best I've seen in serialized animation imo, but it's a thread I wished they'd explored even briefly.
Bradford caused all the worst chaos he blamed Scrooge for Shadow war wouldn't have happened without the schism in the Mcduck family, the moon wouldn't have been able to invade without Della crashing on the moon
There's a fan comics on Deviantart that makes Goldie, Webby's biological Mom. F.O.W.L. apparently decided to use both her and Scrooge's D.N.A. to make her.
Can you do a video about a Beauty and the Beast theory if Gaston's reputation was severely damaged to majority of the villagers after the events of Beauty and the Beast? Because in the opening scene of Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, everyone of the village came to the castle to celebrate Christmas with Belle and Prince Adam, but I think that only LeFou and Gaston's "buddies" do not attend the Christmas party in film due they are the only ones in the village who remained faithful to Gaston's "legacy".
He is really insane, delusional, greedy, coward, selfish, and a big hypocrite. he really disappointed his grandmother. His evil motive is so petty and so stupid that he is below Cruella on evil is petty. I like what Magica did to him at the end, turn into an actual vulture and being Magica's pet a fate worse than death .
@@cartoonishclaude so true. he is aware of what's happening to him, but he's unable to control his body. Can't do anything about it, being a mindless creature.
Can you do a theory about what could happened to Snow White's father, The King, before the events of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves? Because I want to know if he died in a war against an enemy kingdom like it happened in the book "Fairest of them all: A Tale of a Wicked Queen", or maybe simply the Evil Queen poisoned him to take over the kingdom.
Yeah something you kind of might need to think about. Bradford is prob not gone forever. Remember that bit with the failed clone. He may still come back either as a clone or the bradford we saw get defeated himself might have been a clone puppet. And Bradford could have been watching from a safe place.
Not gonna lie.. I kinda wish Bradford succeeded only to realize he screwed up xD Like after getting rid of most of his collected mysteries, the ducks... Aliens invade from OUTSIDE either the universe or the dimension. Then him and FOWL would have to try to reverse what they did somehow.
I hope F.O.W.L. will return in the upcoming Darkwing Duck reboot maybe even having Steelbeak take over as leader warning to avenge the death of his fellow colleague Black Heron
Bradford, to me seems to be the most pathetic and self-righteous villain out there; even more so than Amanda Waller from DC. Sure, adventures CAN be costly and create some dangerous situations. But planning the annihilation of a single family for thirty years, bankrupting a multi-billion dollar industry AND putting together a team of villains (while failing to admit you yourself are one) isn't any better. I hate characters who claim to do evil for "the greater good" and believe in the idea of "doing bad for good reasons." To me, the only time where a "bad thing" is being done out of noble intentions is where Robin Hood is concerned. Everyone else who believes in such ideas are just...evil
There is 1 thing Bradford & Waller have in common. Bradford created Webby; Waller created Terry! And at least Waller created Terry for an Actual good cause!
Because you did a video on the relationships of Daisy and Donald and Scrooge and Goldie, can you please do a video explaining Gandra and Fenton's relationship?
In my opinion, Bradford was the perfect greatest villain for any hero in the entire Disney and any cartoon franchise, let only Scrooge's. This may be on account of the facts that there are plenty of people like him in real life and needless to say, one of Disney few realistic villains, alongside Chip from Big City Greens (there's a video about him) and Judge Frollo from the Hunchback of Notre-Dame (severely underrated, in my opinion). Don't believe me, watch the finale. What made him impressive is that he actually won, albeit by becoming the thing that Black Heron kept insisting he should be. He was a threat to everything fun and adventurous in any cartoon franchise, making him the most dangerous threat of all.
Well..there is a thing you should consider when you sign a conract: Always read the fine print. It tends to nearly always benefit the one who made it more than the one who signed it.
Everyone in the library should’ve heard the truth that it was Bradford who leaked information on the Spear of Selene to Della which led to her disappearance. This sets up chain of events like Shadow War and Moonlanders’ Invasion. Want to see how the other characters react.
Could you please talk about the possible darkening series because I myself have some really big theories for the show including how some of the ducktales villains like Bradford, steelbeak and bulba could all return
I thought Bradford was an excellent villain due to one thing in particular: he was practical. He despised the theatrics, showboating and pettiness all the other villains fell victim too. He happily stayed in the shadows for decades without issue building his power, and in many ways was only hampered by the faults of the people he employed. Even if I didn’t agree with him, I could understand and even sympathise wise his view. Well, until he decided to kill Donald even after Scrooge signed the contract. Even he admitted that was villainous.
This is a really good video but you did forget to mention how Bradford kill Duckworth and He used the stone of what was to clone himself to make the other board members
Weirdly he’s right (the UA-cam’s not Bradford) the thing was it’s possible that with Huey,Loui,Dewey could possible have enjoyed adventure as they had each other, Webby and Scrooge but Bradford had his aunt only who was probably super daring instead of learning to find joy it traumatized young Bradford and realized that what adventure is something chaotic, he saw himself as the hero to make sure no child could go through what he went through or even risk those adventures going wild, he saw himself as the hero or at the very least not making himself the villain just like general ironwood and handsome jack, Bradford was the hero of his own story
Templar really exist rose dosa scooger mcduck comic , I love to see crossover assassin's creed and ducktales crossover close is based rose dosa scooger mcduck comic , if huey duck become master assassin of ninja
Sorry for being late. Lunaris is more of an existential threat due to him actually having the potential to slowly freeze Earth to its icy death. Unlike Taurus Bulba or General Lunaris, Bradford's villainous intent was merely to wipe out all forms of adventure (even if he is just as vile as the former two due to his attempts to personally destroy the McDuck family). This is all despite the fact that he possibly had the resources to do as Bulba and Lunaris did, although his way of villainy was in the idea of control. If we're speaking in terms of a threat to existence, Lunaris and Bulba easily take the cake.
In terms of how they went to achieve their goals, Lunaris was more of a Thanos-level threat. I think that the act of destroying the planet is more threatening than trying to destroy one's family.
I think Bradford was right, the ducks and their adventures created a lot of chaos and trouble for everyone else. Them actually going on adventures without care of big consequences for normal people is a problem. Even the Moon invasion happened because they got hands-on a Della's spaceship
@@cartoonishclaude He wasn't, that would have happened anyway. If it was Della or Scrooge Scrooge always planned exploration of space. If he didn't trick Della into stealing the ship Scrooge would still make contact with the Mars
@@cartoonishclaude No he wasn't Bradford thought of F.O.W.L when he worked for S.H.U.S.H When Scrooge also worked there. He started planning this after observing Scrooge and S.H.U.S.H actions
Okay. One thing I've yet to see anyone talk about (either in videos or comments) that I found to be a brilliant little detail is the First Junior Woodchuck Rule. (Long essay incoming. Ye've been warned.) Now, when Huey and the rest of the gang saves Donald by turning off the Vortex at the last minute, Huey states the prima principia of the Junior Woodchucks: "Junior Woodchuck Guidebook rule number one: Always expect the unexpected!" This is brilliant in that it reflects both Hueys struggles during the show and specifically this season and why Bradford was not only the first, but the *worst* JW. Huey loves planning, scheduling and doing things "by the book". That guidebook really is his security blanket and in "Terror of the Terrafirmians" we see how poorly he handles unfamiliar situations. He doesn't mind threatening situations (he goes on adventures all the time and he's way less cowardly than Louie), as long as he knows *what* he's up against. And when playing a vast MMORPG he prefers to tend to his garden rather than risk losing his XP on dangerous unknowns. Not to mention "The Duke of Making A Mess". Like Bradford, Huey likes order, safety and control. And both of them are JW's. Yet in the first episode of this season, Huey learns the hard way that he is far from the ideal JW that he thought he was. And I believe one reason for that is that he is yet to truly grasp the first rule. He believes he can expect the unexpected by planning and, well, expecting it. But that means when he can't expect it (or find a solution in the JWGB) he panics. To go a bit eastern philosophical, he needs to become less Confucian and more Taoist. Learn to "Take it as it comes". Which he does little by little during the season. Accepting his "messier" side etc. It kind of comes back to what Donald said to Scrooge in the first episode of the series: "No matter what I do these boys will get into trouble. So maybe… you can teach them how to get out of trouble." Donald (also a poor JW, didn't even make the cut to become one) failed to expect the unexpected by trying to reign it in, but learned that it is better to teach the kids how to deal with trouble (the unexpected) than avoid it. (Not to say that you should rush head-first into trouble, but that it's good to know how to get out of it if you get into it). Still, there is one who is even worse at handling unpredictability, and that is Bradford. No wonder, really. He's an accountant. And: "You see, in your report here, it says that you are an extremely dull person. Our experts describe you as 'an appallingly dull fellow, unimaginative, [...], no sense of humour, tedious company and irrepressibly drab and awful.' And where as in most professions, these would be considerable drawbacks, in accountancy they are a positive boon." (Monty Python's Lion Tamer Accountant sketch). Bradford doesn't like the unexpected. It interferes with his calculus. And he takes time in his calculations (he spent 30 years writing the contract for the Papyrus). He prefers the dull, safe bets, and the only time he isn't stingy is when it comes to order and control, which he wants at all costs. In short, he didn't merely misinterpret the first rule of the JW's. He actively went against it. Trying to prevent the unexpected from happening in the first place so he didn't have to expect it. Also, this seem like a nice jab from the creatives at DuckTales towards the stuffy accountants, especially in Hollywood. You know the cliche by know: "Hollywood is out of ideas! They're creatively bankrupt!" And, well, that's a half-truth. There are still original ideas and spec scripts in Hollywood, but no-one is willing to bet on them. That is the environment real-world Bradfords have created. If you have two scripts; One an original but exciting idea, one based on a pre-existing concept like, say, emojis, maybe? A producer would be far safer wanting to back the existing concept rather than the original idea. Why? Well, if the new idea fails, they can kiss their jobs goodbye. "Yeah. It failed. But I thought it was an interesting script and that it would have an audience". Now, the film may still have been good. Critics and the few people who saw it liked it, and it is destined to become a cult classic. But poor marketing, or it going up against the latest Marvel, Star Wars or Pixar movie at the box office or any other reason outside of creatives doomed it from the start. It doesn't matter. The Bradfords will kick the producer out, because clearly they (the producer) has poor judgement skills. But the one who went with the existing idea or property, and if that movie failed? "Shucks, guys. I'm as surprised as you are. The chart said that emojis are popular with kids, so the movie should be popular too." The Bradfords goes; "Yeah, that checks out. It wasn't your fault, it was poor data."
That is a very formidable analysis over what made Bradford the worst woodchuck junior and the biggest stick in the mud. So many millonaires in ducktales had an archetype, what with Scrooge being the ideal one, Mark Beaks being new gen, etc....and Bradford being the one who goes for the boring approach but withotu the sense off wonder.
I just realized that in every season finale, the kids had to save Scrooge, kinda slowly becoming the next heroes like Scrooge and Isabella.

@Max x Roxanne 4ever I know.

The dude kept the same facial expression for so many years, from when he graduated 'til after he started FOWL. He deserves some credit for that.
Ultimate poker face
That is quite possible, maybe bradford was hearing Duckworth trying to convince Scrooge to RECONNECT with his family.
@FEAR GamEggg wut
Not only did Bradford tell Della about the Spear, he forced Scrooge’s searches for her to stop!

If Isabella Finch was alive today she would be really disappointed at how Bradford turned out.
Let’s give Magica her props for taking down the leader of Fowl and turning him into a non-anthropomorphic buzzard.

i'm sorry that i disagree with you
He definitely made an excellent antagonist!
@@christophercervantes5753 yes he did
I mean, if it wasn't for the nonsense "family is adventure" at the end, Bradford had legit won. XD
Bradford is sympathetic...kind of.
He was dragged along on these terrifying 'adventures' by someone who obviously wasn't paying attention ( if she was she would have noticed how scared and upset he looks in all those photos) and saw the damage irresponsible adventurers where causing to normal people.
Of course his 'solution' is more then a little.. villainous.
That is true his Gradma should have noticed he was sad and didn't like adventure
I think that we should get “reboots” of all the shows we have seen in this universe;
Like Talespin, Gummi Bears and Darkwing Duck, which could expand the world to something in the scale of the MCU.
Sadly talespin wouldn't work since the only characters they'd be able to use would be the ones we've already seen.
Darkwing duck though, I could picture working.
I don't think we'll get any reboots since Ducktales was canceled and had to end early.

What Bradford didn't understand the most besides family is the fact LIFE IS MEANT TO BE CHAOTIC. You cannot control everything. Life is meant to be unpredictable. SO you can't control it. So his plan was stupid from start because he couldn't accept life itself is chaos.
There is a reason that von Drake told him than his overall goal was a tall order

I am guessing this is because that it takes place after "The Last Adventure."
Yeah that’s true. Isabella probably wasn’t that great of a granny.

@@Dragon_Lair I still don’t think anyone would’ve forced him to go if he’d said no. Why simply saying he didn’t want to go didn’t occur to him I’m unsure, but sometimes children don’t realize things.
I agree. I definitely think that his view of the world was warped by the trauma of being forced on life-threatening adventures.
I feel like Bradford was a dark mirror version of Huey ,Donald and Louie.
According to the executive producer Bradford is what Huey could've been like if he was so focused on how things worked or looking for the truth.
Like Huey he wanted to keep control off things that he could not always do and had nasty reactions when things did not go like planned...but lacking an anchor that kept Huey from reaching the deep end
And th case off DOnald is someone who cant stand being dragged onto adventures or things that genunely bothering him, but lacking instincts and being too selfish.
I still can't believe Della was lost on the moon because of him. He's like Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe behind the events of The Avengers

There is one problemw ith that train off tought:
Bradford is a dangerous accountant and he could had foreseen anyone trying to continue Scrooge's work...so he had to add a clause to prevent those type off things..you know how those vultures (no pun intended) always add a fine print to cheat their way out.
He says he's not a villain but In his heart he knows it
So the main antagonist of this reboot series wasn't a sorceress, business rival, crime lord, evil deity or an artifact of doom.
This was a well-thought-out original villain for the Ducktales reboot.

She would have so let down by him and so hurt by him.
Bradford being forced to be the pet of one of the most chaotic villains was a great fate for him.
@@audralegg6477 Bradford hurt his grandmother's legacy and ruined his legacy as well.
@@cartoonishclaude so true. he is aware of what's happening to him, but he's unable to control his body. Can't do anything about it, being a mindless creature.
Hey Isaac, I would love if you made a Theory of who the couple on Webby Picture are that she thinks are her parent ^^
Good video and good job. I love your coverage of everything and gets every detail
Lunaris should have joined FOWL
Most villains are the heroes in their own stories.
Maybe do a theory on the events with baloo and kit cloudkicker and how the events connect with ducktales?
Bradford thinks he’s not a villain but he is a bad person, bad people believe they are good people.
It shows the really true evil of Bradford when Magica poured her magical wrath on him rather than fight with Scrooge and his family at the end.... 🤔😏
I kinda wish Bradford succeeded only to realize he screwed up xD
Like after getting rid of most of his collected mysteries, the ducks...
You must not know a lot of villains if you think Bradford is the most pathetic villain ever.
Oh and he won before against sCROOGE by tearing the family apart
He possibly killed Duckworth.
Possibly...
Bradford tried to kill Donald, which was against the contract, so the papyrus should’ve prevented him from doing that.
Thank goodness Donald Duck is saved. If he gets erased from existence, Daisy Duck would be furious with Bradford Buzzard and attack him.
Well..there is a thing you should consider when you sign a conract:
Always read the fine print. It tends to nearly always benefit the one who made it more than the one who signed it.
Technically the Moonvasion was Bradford’s fault if you think about it.
I assume it's been previously mentioned, but here goes. IMO, Bradford Buzzard in DuckTales = Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars.
The word *"Brad"* is in his name.
Now can you do Daisy Duck’s full story or The life of April May and June?
Everyone in the library should’ve heard the truth that it was Bradford who leaked information on the Spear of Selene to Della which led to her disappearance. This sets up chain of events like Shadow War and Moonlanders’ Invasion. Want to see how the other characters react.
Could you please talk about the possible darkening series because I myself have some really big theories for the show including how some of the ducktales villains like Bradford, steelbeak and bulba could all return
Bradford could have saved a lot of trouble if he just went to therapy.
Apparently Bradford is insane cause he thinks he's not a villain in fact he totally is
Nah he is villain
@@nickyoknickyok4863 that's true
We're talking SCP level plans
Bradford sound like a Templar from assassin creed 4 Templar grand master
Templar really exist rose dosa scooger mcduck comic , I love to see crossover assassin's creed and ducktales crossover close is based rose dosa scooger mcduck comic , if huey duck become master assassin of ninja
I hope this isint a real end. I would love to see more of ducktales
Which ducktales villain is more of a thanos level threat: lunaris or Bradford?
My money's on Bradford
@@XGamin1 I was thinking on how said villains went to achieve their goals before being defeated by the heroes.
@@themask5493 Yo I think you commented right before I could publish mine.
In terms of how they went to achieve their goals, Lunaris was more of a Thanos-level threat. I think that the act of destroying the planet is more threatening than trying to destroy one's family.
0:51 Discord:Oh really
I love watching your videos! Keep up the good work!!😁
I think Bradford was right, the ducks and their adventures created a lot of chaos and trouble for everyone else.
Them actually going on adventures without care of big consequences for normal people is a problem.
Even the Moon invasion happened because they got hands-on a Della's spaceship
Bradford got himself associated with villains though.
You do realize that Bradford was planning this way before he met Scrooge.
Bradford was also responsible for the Moon invasion.
@@cartoonishclaude He wasn't, that would have happened anyway. If it was Della or Scrooge
Scrooge always planned exploration of space.
If he didn't trick Della into stealing the ship Scrooge would still make contact with the Mars
@@cartoonishclaude No he wasn't
Bradford thought of F.O.W.L when he worked for S.H.U.S.H
When Scrooge also worked there.
He started planning this after observing Scrooge and S.H.U.S.H actions
Okay. One thing I've yet to see anyone talk about (either in videos or comments) that I found to be a brilliant little detail is the First Junior Woodchuck Rule.
(Long essay incoming. Ye've been warned.)
Now, when Huey and the rest of the gang saves Donald by turning off the Vortex at the last minute, Huey states the prima principia of the Junior Woodchucks: "Junior Woodchuck Guidebook rule number one: Always expect the unexpected!"
This is brilliant in that it reflects both Hueys struggles during the show and specifically this season and why Bradford was not only the first, but the *worst* JW.
So maybe… you can teach them how to get out of trouble."
Donald (also a poor JW, didn't even make the cut to become one) failed to expect the unexpected by trying to reign it in, but learned that it is better to teach the kids how to deal with trouble (the unexpected) than avoid it.
Can you make a scrooge mcduck timeline
Well the invasion from the moon was his fault
Bradford’s transformation with the armor and then when he went at Scrooge reminded me of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
