Get rid of Beatrice, apo, flamberge and the closed moon link 2. Put all floodgates (that includes shifter) to 1 at least or even ban them to get rid of stun decks, put tenpai fieldspell to 1 and phantom of yubel to 1. Crossout and called banned to make going first more balanced. The going 2 player draws the 6th card on turn 0 instead of on his own turn, and for the love of god plz fix the time rules. That would pretty much fix the format. Now for the prizing, an improvement is not mandatory but it would be nice to get an alt art, full art of special rarities of popular cards as prizing. And boom, great format, nice prizing and sudently ygo is the best tcg world wide. Maaaaayyyybe we could get the cog rarity system but that’s definitely asking for too much.
7 monsters when combined with a hand trap approach feels like it would make it inconsistent to get your engine online quickly. It always feels like the odds of winning are just so low when you open 2-3 striker monsters. Feel you on the Tenpai matchup. With how popular it is here in the OCG I’ve started experimenting with go first builds w/ main deck cyclone and a small field spell toolbox of terraforming/set rotation for zombie world along with area zero/chicken game Zombie world also has the added perk of having to be removed before the opp can do fiend smith combo. Other thought is since it’s a hand trap format, max out on thrust/talents and also include a single main deck copy of threatening roar in case they shifter you or make you go first, you can at least guarantee to survive a turn
Interesting ratios on raye and roze but cyanos is a one of for me until Camillia is released people can neg cyanos and yours spells are pretty much dead unless you have droplet to get rid of the cyanos in main monster zones also call me crazy I dropped all hand traps and play stuff like mind control change of heart snatch steal just taking the opponents board is nice and if they try to negate talents and thrust become live
I thought about that too going no handies and just board breakers but full combo endboards for meta now is just wayyy too strong to break with Striker, when if you manage to get them to a suboptimal one you can break it with a single droplet or whatever. When camelia comes and whatever hits happen I’ll switch to going first but if we go second we’ll be ok too.
In Md we have camellia now im more curious about SS go first deck could you make a content video out of this glad you enjoy your ycs experience tournament
Great since it allowed cyanos to dodge imperm and veiler. Also great against the untargetable cards and battle step stuff so opponent attacks and gets their attack halved.
Feelsbad I was on the backup stage and I think we were literally the only backup stream that never showed up the entire event since round 2 took the whole time 😪. I don’t think they recorded it or anything but it was against voiceless voice
True, but if you do draw the single Roze and cyanos in starting hand, you need to commit to normal summon roze, when Raye is still the best normal summon since it can dodge effects. Sure, you can then summon a Link and summon the roze by effect and then use cyanos in hand summon, but by then 3/5 (6 if you count the draw) are starter cards and 2-3 non engine cards. I’m willing to play the extra Roze in deck so that I don’t commit to the normal summon aside from Raye, and use 2/5 cards to start playing. Sometimes the discard doesn’t matter since it fills up spells, or you’ll add it back with Red Raye anyways if it’s important.
@@KevinKawaii I am sorry if I seem kind of dumb here but I still don't understand. I see two different situations you described: a) you open cyanos +roze + 3/4 non engine cards (depending on if you count the 6. Draw). In this situation you have to commit to normal summon roze, but that is not too bad since you don't have raye anyway in this scenario so the only other play with two rozes would be to start with cyanos and have the other roze in hand as an extender afterwards. But the other way around works the same way, you normal roze and use cyanos as an extender, so in situation a) it doesn't really make a difference. Situation b) would be roze + cyanos + raye + 2/3 non engine cards. In this situation you are right you would be forced to normal raye over roze or use the effect of roze to summon from hand after normal summoning raye, but I don't see the problem with that. You can link both of them into azalea or Zeke so you used the second engine card to help you break the board and then the cyanos is life again. And you started with 3 engine cards one way or the other so the second roze would help with having less engine cards in hand. I don't really see any scenario in which the second roze helps, especially considering the fact that it makes it more likely you draw the roze and thats a card you never wanna see in hand.
How can konami "fix" the TCG? Lemme know down below! Despite my whole gang scrubbing out it was fun!

now imagine if we DIDNT scrub out 😂
You prefer play fist or Second?
I thought the TCG couldn't stoop any lower, but when I found out they weren't ready to add Camellia I was frickin' DONE with those clowns.

OMG My boy Kevin is still alive! Been a while since I last checked your videos, keep up the good work!
Hey brother, congratulations man. Glad you had fun.

I love Raye!

Briefly spoke with someone and lowkey brainstormed ideas. I’ll post update if/when Camelia is released
Congrats
U don’t need 2 roze 1 is fine because pillar will recycle it replace it with a power spell
Played u round 1, 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Leggo striker mate! Cyanos without Camellia it’s awful bro, how do u manage that?
The only time I played against Snake-Eyes I cooked him 2-0 and he even sided in eradiactor lol
How forbidden droplets work in this deck?
Great since it allowed cyanos to dodge imperm and veiler. Also great against the untargetable cards and battle step stuff so opponent attacks and gets their attack halved.
Why no upstart goblin?
Wait you were on feature match? does anyone have a link to the vod

Raye is the best waifu 😭❤️
Can anyone explain the reason behinf two roze? I didnt understand the explanation in the video.
If you draw roze + cyanos in starting hand the other two aren’t dead draws.
@@KevinKawaii why would the other two be dead draws? You can always use the other two to summon the roze from the gy, so they are never dead

You make a good point lol, one thing that did come up that I didn’t mention was linkage Otk and having the second roze in deck enabled me to Otk.
Wait, a player not spending $ 1000 on the meta deck and having fun? Which trickery is this?
Senpai was the only deck I hated playing against since it’s a literal coin flip but all the other decks I played against were very interactive
What was your record?
X-1-1 then I decided to do side events lol shifter sucks
If they would have gave us Camillia and engage zero you would have done better
