Hello, can you explain how the dimensions of particles in a solution influence the spin-coating process?
Is it possible that if I had a solution with a great number of big and small TiO2 nanoparticles, I could get thinner film than the film deposited from the solution with only small TiO2 nanoparticles? I am thinking that maybe these bigger particles scatter, and than there is a smaller number of particles remaining on the sample than in the case where I have only smaller particles.
I am trying to understand why the transmittance of the thin film spin-coated from the solution heated 60 minutes at 70°C is higher than the one of the thin film spin-coated from the solution heated 40 minutes at 70°C. I am thinking that the reason for that could be found in the possiblitity that longer time results in bigger particles which are to big to stay on the substrate.
I would sincerely appreciate your resond!
