Hey! I'm glad you're finding our videos helpful! Thanks for the kind words. 😊
Nice. Cheers
Thanks for the visit!
Long time since I was in Chch. I was there one week after the earthquake staying with relatives.
Oh wow. I've seen video from that time. It must have been surreal to see. It's a tough little city for sure. They've bounced back well!
I was walking around the Sign of the Takahe a couple of days ago. It's one of a set of four Victorian era resthouses in the hills.
We've been to the sign of the kiwi Cafe but have not done much more hiking out there yet. It's definitely on our list of things to do!
Uncle Toby is a Australian manufacture, when going through the tunnel we used to take our car out of gear & roll down to Lyttleton, while there did you notice if there is any wharves that you could get access to ??? as you could take the girls fishing then they can relate what they eat to what it came from.
You guys should look for a area that has a not to steep slope & some corrugated cardboard & take the girls tobogganing they will both love that .
Kiwi Rod
We didn't check for any wharves, but I do like the idea of taking the girls fishing some time. I may need to wait till they're a bit older though. :)
Loving the adventures you go on. On an earlier video clip re Bottle Lake Forest (I think it was) we managed a trip out that way. A good place to chill out.
The next time you are in Lyttelton try Hope River Pies. They are brilliant.
