A Day in our 4X4 in Costa Rica - Free Beach Camping

Welcome to part 5 of our Costa Rica Adventure. In this video, we leave our secluded beach in our 4x4 and set out to find more beaches in Costa Rica. We don't have a plan, but that's the fun part, right? Was this the best way to explore Costa Rica?
We utilized our Frontier Go Wild Passes and flew from California to San Jose Costa Rica and rented a 4x4 Suzuki Jimny with roof top tent from Nomad America to camp around Costa Rica. Our first night we camped at an Eco Hotel and explored Blue Falls. Now we’re off to find a free spot to camp in Costa Rica.
We left the van for something even smaller a Suzuki Jimny 4x4 with a rooftop tent in Costa Rica in June 2023. We spent a week traveling around Costa Rica camping along the way and experiencing some great waterfalls, beaches and snorkeling.

Wow was that lunch a normal price? Higher than I would have expected but im also very ignorant

Costs Rica is pretty pricey. That lunch was the most expensive we had as it was in a touristy area. The other spots were more out of the way and local spots but still cost $23usd for 2 with a soda each.
