We found Cancun to be a lot more expensive than Baja. Just tacos and drinks were about double in Cancun than our favorite in Baja. Even though we noticed the taco and camping prices go up all over Baja last year the prices were still almost 50% cheaper than Cancun for eating out. Last March gas is about the same as in California. We are headed down again in February and we will see what the current prices are.

Wow sorry it didn't work for you. We have flown over 50 flights with the pass and only ever had a problem one time booking a flight with the pass. We also have landed on time 98% of the time. We are lucking we have 4 airports with in a little over an hour from us to choose rom for flights.

Are you trying to book in the app. You can only book in the browser. There are a few days in January that are blackout dates. And can only book a day in advance for domestic and 10 days in advance for international.

Frontier is also having early booking on limited flights through March or April website just updated til April 15, 2025. Per their website GoWild! We were able to get home on every trip. Took over 50 flights since May 2023. We have never had a canceled flight and only minimal delays.

We have considered adding protection but the stock armor has been working great for us. Fortunately the trails have a way of self clearing themselves.

For the flight costs we talk about that at 3:07 in the video the average including the annual pass cost was less than $50 per person per fight. Flights are 1 cent and taxes. Thank! We have done 4 gray whale tours in Baja the first was the smoothest. That trip was mid February. Our roughest tour was mid March. I also have a bad back and didn’t have any issues. @@OurMidlifeVan Honestly, if you're putting your money into a private company, I'd expect something in return. The Go Wild Pass sounds like a "Basic Economy Wild Pass."

We have received over 50 flights for only taxes in return so far. Seems pretty good t us.

We are near 3 airports in Southern California. We mostly fly out of Ontario airport.

We haven’t had that issue thankfully, but we do have frequent flyer points with other airlines that we sometimes use to book a back up flight home in case we can’t get a Go Wild ticket. But every time we have booked a back up flight with points we have canceled as we got the Go Wild Ticket last minute.

@@OurMidlifeVan I bought it last night bc it was 299 but frontier cut non stop flights to NYC but they will probably add it back in a few months.

They seem to changes routes every few months (seasonal changes). They finally started a route to some of our family last summer. Now instead of every day having a non stop it is only 3 times a week. Hopefully you find some great flights to take while you have the pass.

Depends on which airline you’re going to book with but always need to compare costs for flights you might take. I needed to take a flight last minute this week and didn’t need luggage and the pass made it so the flight was only $15. Southwest wanted $346 so even if I did need to add a carryon I would be saving over $200.

Much easier than last year when they only flew out of Midway. They now fly both Midway and O’Hara.

We have flown through Chicago once. You would have to take a look at their website and see what options they currently have. Also keep in mind they like to change their routes every 3-6 months

Depends on the flight. We have had short layovers of a less than hour and over night lay overs where we enjoyed a stop over in a city exploring. We also had an overnight layover in July that included a black out day for the second leg. But since it was a layover from a flight the day before the black out didn’t apply to the 2nd flight.

Took a direct flight this week to see family. Depends on where we go. From California if we want to go to the East Coast or to an International destination we have to have a layover. Usually Denver but sometimes Phoenix or Vegas. But that is normal for us with other airlines we have flown on from our local airport.

We have either flown with just a personal item or last year we purchased a status match that included carryon. But currently the carryon is $58 if you pre pay at booking.

We live near 3 airports that Frontier flies from. Ontario is our home airport but not much further we can be in San Diego and we have flown out of Orange County which is about the same distance as well. They seem to change their routes every 3-6 months so it is nice for use to have options.

We only couldn’t get a flight one time and it was for our son’s birthday so we just paid the $100 flight cost. We have never had a problem getting a return. You could do round trip on an international flight because those can be booked 10 days in advance. But we never book round trip always purchase 2 one way tickets as it’s not any more money.

My wife and I purchased, but I have concerns now that I know you can never book a return until the day before. Do you both have to book your flights individually and do you sit apart or are you allowed to book together to ensure you both get on? How many times were you able to do 3 day weekend getaways successfully?

Hope your pass takes you to some great destinations. We alway book together on one reservation. In your account profile you can go to Travel Preferences and add family members as your Travel Companions. While our trips weren't really 3 Day weekends. We did one day trips to see our son on the weekend and did 5-8 day trips to Mexico, Costa Rica and Dominican Republic. We did 8 trips in our first year of having the pass.

We have been very successful getting back from domestic trips. We play around with Availability by putting in 8 passengers to make sure there is still some availability. This method has worked good for us. Also some times like currenlty til March you can book in advance for a little more. Like a flight I was looking at was $39 a week in advance tried our method and I waited and got the flight today for $15.11. We have flown many weekends so it is not just week days.
