    Mark Cuban referring to Trump:
    "...as bad as lack of ethics, lack of character, lack of honesty is, the fact that he makes no effort to learn anything; this is one of the few human beings on the planet that gets dumber in front of our face, every single day".

He laid all the way to be a president in 2016. He lied about his taxes. He lied abou about the people who have run against, like Mrs. Clinton. He covered up about his situation when he became president. He can manipulate MAGA because most of them never got a degree. Mark is SPEAKING THE TRUTH HERE and I know from first-hand experience.
    Way before Shark Tank, I worked for Mark. He sold the company I worked for and the people who bought that company fired a bunch of us. Mark called a meeting at his house with about a dozen of us who'd been fired within a few days. In that meeting he gave us all some great advice about companies WE SHOULD START. A few of us actually did start companies and Mark was a constant cheerleader. He gave us a ton of FREE ADVICE and encouragement. Our company survived and many years later, after he bought the Dallas Mavericks, Mark (and the Mav's) became a loyal customer for years. He's STILL a customer of one of the spin-offs of our original company. Unlike Trump, he never missed a payment to us (his vendor).

      The big problem arises when the society is set up in such a format where the extremely wealthy can buy influence of the actual direction of policy etc. In some places, this is largely avoided (namely, money in politics), and there the extremely wealthy rarely pose an issue on a larger scale and simply go about their business. It has come to a point in the US where, no matter how many good rich guys there are, if any of the extremely rich have bad intentions or just a drive to push their bias into the society, they are going to be able to inflict infinitely more damage to the society as a whole than the good guys will ever be able to drive a positive impact.
      If 98 extremely wealthy people are doing good things, it will have an impact, but if the remaining two decide to drive their ill purposes and buy influence over the leadership of the whole nation, they can just drive it all off the cliff with their endless resources.

    Boy, it's rare to have a guest explain in easy terms the many aspects of tariffs. The cost to companies to deal with tariffs is very real and not cheap. It penalizes all consumers

    • @karenneill9109

      Yes and (as a follow up for edification) Biden kept chinese tariffs to deter increase production of microchips in the US. The tariffs deter american companies from buying them from china and incentivize them to buy local. This is different than trump’s blanket tariffs which is a blanket sales tax.

    As an insurance expert (30 yrs licensed, working & consulting for the largest insurers), I am shocked how much Mark Cuban knows about the industry!! Including details. I can spend years explaining this to massive companies who are spending millions every year. It's why they hire teams of consultants to do it for them, there's always another layer... This country absolutely needs a full funded national government owned system just like the UK & every other 1st world country!! Americans HAVE to wake up, we're being robbed & bamboozled of our most valuable asset; our health!! We deserve the best medical care provided by our government. How can we all not agree??

      It’s the ruthlessness of the insurance companies to use you and everybody to make a profit from Medical insurance to property insurance like in Florida and California. When their profit nosedived, drop your coverage or triple the rate.

    • @anthonydhan
      @anthonydhan 2 дні тому

      @@gordonhopkins4658There is more than enough money going to the health care industry with much of it wasted padding the pockets of folks that add zero value. Listen to Mark on this interview and he says the same. While other advanced economies devote about 6% to 8% of their economy to health care, we devote more than double that and yet get worst outcomes when measuring things like life expectancy and infant mortality. So we pay more yet get worst health care.
      Going to a monopsony, a sing buyer, a monopoly in inverse, gives us the tax payers the leverage to bargain. This is how all the other advanced economies do it. No one in the world pays the absurd prices that we do.
      With so many in the trough feeding off of us, they all hire lobbyists to prevent any reform. And they pay a lot to scare people like you with misinformation, so they can keep the gravy train going.

    I’m retired but spent 4 decades in the health coverage industry. I appreciate Mark Cuban exposing some of the exploitation that exists in the industry. My son does estate planning and almost all of his clients are elderly. They frequently pay thousands of dollars each month for their medications. He always shares info on Cost Plus drugs to them. The $2000 out of pocket limit that takes effect next year will be a huge help for those on Medicare. He meets people who do not have Medicare or prescription coverage and can’t afford their medications. He shares the info on Cost Plus with them as well. I’m fortunate that I’m not on any long term medications but if that changes, I will definitely consider Cost Plus.

      We all know that the cost of OTC medicine is way up there, but prescription meds can be over the top. A big thanx to Mark Cuban and those who r leading the fight to bring these costs down for everybody's sake.
      BTW, when u go see a doctor and the doctor says to u, "I'm going to give u this medication, or that medication," that's not true. The doctor writes u a prescription, then u go to the pharmacy and buy the meds urself. Most of the time, with money from ur own pocket.
      So, doc, don't say to me, "How's that medicine that I gave u workin out?" "Well doc, u didn't really give me anything, did u?" Fact.
