Would love to see a season 5 or season 6 “Rachel cut” 😍
Great instructional video! I’m a cosmetologist of almost 40 years and an educator as well as a cosmetology instructor. I love this video!
Plan on getting this haircut on my birthday. Haven’t had short hair since I was 8 years old. You are the only one on UA-cam who has done a tutorial on this particular haircut. Jennifer Anniston has had a bunch of lobs, bobs and the Rachel cut (which might be mistaken by this one), and this look in particular is my favorite. I don’t like when lobs and too short in the back and finish longer in the front. This one is pretty even and classy. Thank you for disclosing what I should ask my hairdresser. Wish me luck! 🎉
Beautiful! I'm hoping to find a new stylist who can do this on my fine straight hair.
Awesome tutorial! You really broke it down in a way that is easy to understand and follow. I'd love it if you would do a tutorial on how to copy Sarah Jessica Parker's cut. The way she wears it in the t.v. series "Divorce". It's a long, straight style with face framing layers that fall back, away from the face. Thanks, Cat
Love the tutorial, but I do wish you showed how to blow dry it. I got a similar cut recently, but don’t know how to style it and my back layers always end up flipping out.
J’aurais aimé voir le brushing savoir comment vous faites? Car le brushing est très beau .
How much you charge for a cut like that..love it.
How do you keep it out of her face? Can you do a Lisa rinna cut? 😊 thanks
Could you do Cher (Alice silverstone) from clueless? Or would this be similar???
I checked your instagram to see where you are located to book an appointment. I really like your technique. I’m in VA, you’re in CA. 😢
Bonjour, j au l impression que vous faites une raie sur le côté, comment choisir le bon côté ?
Where r u from
If ur in Australia I would locate u just to have this hair
1. As a customer, how would you explain this cut to a stylist?
2. What's the best way to begin to transition into this cut from a layered cut? Or is it best to grow it out and chop it to get rid of the layering?
3. Do you think the cut is good for someone who likes to go back and forth between naturally curly and styled straight?
1. Show your stylist a picture of what you want.
2. If your hair is healthy, the easiest and fastest way to grow your layered cut into this shape is to trim the length without cutting or trimming the layering. Using good conditioner will help with the grow out process as well.
3. If you wear your hair curly and straight, don't texturize as much. Too much texture on curly hair can make it appear fuzzy. But the overall shape would work well for curly or straight.
Any stylist in the Atlanta area that can really do this?
Is this suitable for damaged and thin blond hair? Thank you maestro
Yes, since the layering is long it will help maintain weight in the perimeter and keep it looking fuller.
@@JataiFeather I appreciate your answer and your talent! Thank you very much
Make it exactly the same
Would it suit curly hair
Yes but I would not texture as much. Probably very little texturizing would be required for curly hair.
I love !! I Want to do that on me !! I am in France.
Thank you! I'm sure you can find a hairstylist who can do that for you in France :)
This is Maya cut❤

What type of thinning shears are you using?

Very old technic ...
Excellent tutorial! I'm a retired Cosmetologist and Jennifer Aniston's The Rachel was so popular in the 90's. I did that cut on numerous women! This here is such a classic cut! Always looks good no matter what year we're in. So many young women and girls today just wear their hair long and straight and have been doing so for years. So boring... It's time to get some styles like this back!
Thank you! It's definitely a classic cut.
