Looks cold up that way. Y'all definitely got more snow then we did down here in SD. Good finds and extra kudos for being out in that chilly environment.❤ ❤❤❤
I have donated in the past. Will continue to do so. Yes I have. Sent them to a Archeologist in a research lab and he identified everything and sent them back.
@@samsager1 have you ever invited an archologist out to dig with you? Over here in the UK 🇬🇧 it is quite common for metal detectorists to find something of interest...for example if 5 or more coins are found together in same dig hole it is classed as a horde. Therefore the police and county archeology department are called. Many important digs have taken place because of this.
It is a bottle with a big fat blob top on it that usually contained soda or cider in different flavors. They were common before and after the teen of the century. North Dakota had quite a few bottling works in different cities and towns. Google search hutchinson soda bottles. Harvey had 3 or four examples known around the very early 1900s
Sam you both found some really nice glass but that snuff was an amazing find!

Nice to see a bottle dig in November! Too bad about about the ND bottles, but I'm sure you'll get into some good trash pits or privies in the spring.

Love the pit the bottles crazy good job saving them!.
Can I have that blob top bottle

Hi from the UK. Do you donate any of your finds to a museum? Also do you tell any professional archologists about some of your finds?

@TheSportsBoffin ya we don't go that far. We don't need to get them involved.
