    Bad ass! I like it has a square tool built in! This is going to replace my Wesson saw which I paid 80 for and it has a spinner but the square end tool I paid another 50 for so for that price basically I can have all in one.

    Bought one of these and the saw portion is fine but the sanding/squaring setup is worthless as it can easily be mis-aligned and does not remain square if any pressure is applied to the disc itself.

    Picked up a modsaw. I have Gold Tip black label blanks that are pre fetched. I cut my length, squared my end, tuned, glued the insert got them knock tuned on paper and they seem to be doing exactly what I need them to do. Shouldn't matter about fletching orientation as long as they clear on release and are flying right, correct? Had to label each individual arrow for orientation of course.

    I couldn't believe the price its well worth that. I did have a question I just got done watching the hunting public video on arrow set up I pull 60 ponds do I need to set my bow high to shoot these set ups? I used to but in 2013 I was in an accident shooting and my left arm is not as strong as it used to be. that's why I dropped my weight.

    Do you also apply epoxy to the collar once it’s spinning true and then check it again then let it cure and then check it again? Also do you think it would make a difference to sand the insert and inside of the shaft then clean with IPA and wipe with a lint free cloth then apply epoxy? Do to get a stronger bond.

    • @RanchFairy
      @RanchFairy  7 місяців тому +1

      The collar doesn’t matter at all ON THIS SYSTEM. Of the collar touches the back of the broadhead ON ANOTHER system - yes “check everything”
      You want to sand inside - go for it. I haven’t seen this amazing difference

    Troy I am a big fan my question is what is your opinion on dual spine arrow shafts

    • @RanchFairy
      @RanchFairy  7 місяців тому

      so they are a marketing thing.
      Buy them If you like.
      Shoot them bare shaft and make them bare shaft bullet holes. fletch.
      Buy the cheapest arrow out there - shoot bare shaft, nock tune, fletch (I've done this a lot)
      They'll be fine.
      But fletched and "guess" the dual spine.
      You're gonna be at the same place as any other fletched and guess arrow.

    A nice tool, but hardly anything you “need” to buy.
    Squaring tools are inexpensive.
    There are less expensive arrow saws.
    A spinner is also pretty cheap.
    Better to spend your $$$ on an arrow straightness/spine tester. Looking for imperfections and hidden flaws.

    • @RanchFairy
      @RanchFairy  7 місяців тому

      So 1
      You apparently haven’t put all three devices bought separately on a spreadsheet.
      And when you buy a straightness and spine tester and get that done, do you THEN have to build an arrow or is it just good to go?
      Weird comment, any alcohol involved?

    • @johnarcher9480
      @johnarcher9480 7 місяців тому

      @@RanchFairy
      Judging by that reply, I would certainly think alcohol was involved.
      Why would I need to put all 3 devices on a spreadsheet?
      If you are meaning the total cost, the 3 devices can be less than the all in 1 device.
      You can build your arrow at any time… though it would make more sense to do it after measuring to make sure you don’t have a bad arrow.
      Do you not understand how to use a straightness and spine tester? Your reply would make more sense if you didn’t.

      FEEL FREE TO USE A CRAYON
      2nd grade work here:
      YOU GET A CRAYON AN ADD
      The price of another saw
      Price of a spinner
      Price of a squaring tool.
      SUM ALL 3 (this means add all 3 together)
      And compare that to price point of this 3 in one unit.

    I have a question and I don't mean it in a sarcastic way or anything. You take a lot of time to make your arrows and test them and nock tune etc. You also have a lab radar and high speed camera.... both very expensive. Yet you've stated repeatedly you don't own a bow press or any equipment to actually tune a bow. I feel like it would only help you to have/learn how to tune and work on a bow yourself. Just curious is all, trust me its not that hard. Would give you more content as well.

    • @RanchFairy
      @RanchFairy  6 місяців тому

      @@RG-ij7ge
      So fair.
      I actually know a ton about the bow. However - the industry line is “if the bow can shoot ANY arrow”
      Which can be done. I know it can.
      Then that arrow is ALSO a fantastic hunting arrow.
      That is a complete lie.
      Now - on bow tuning. These guys tune ONE arrow.
      One. They call it good for all others of the same make and model
      That is why I spend so much time on the arrow tweaks. Getting a decent bare shaft is really not that hard
      Getting 12 perfectly nock tuned and bare shaft means your ammo is very very consistent.
