„It‘s not the end of the world if I lose him (her). It just might seem so tonight.“ is another song from Sarah Brightman … I hope you feel better today ❤❤
Dude let her go, she don’t deserve you. Don’t let yourself be unhappy because you put her up on a pedestal. That’s nonsense. She left you without telling you, she sucks
Song saddens me so much... it's time 4 me to end a 5 1/2 year relationship. Yes, I'll tell her on a Sunday, face to face, sober. 5 1/2 years.... i know what will happen. I know where it will happen. We will walk away in separate directions... never 2 see one another again. 5 1/2 years. I hoped/dreamed/planned 4 so much to have happened in our relationship. But nothing ever changed... you can only deal with so much of me... 1 to 2 days a week max. I hoped 4 so much more. I had so many plans/dreams of marriage & future life 2gether. You were always perfectly ok with "one day at a time." Nothing is ever going 2 change.... 1 to 2 days a week meetups. That's it. Im 67. Im so tired of having hopes & dreams that go nowhere. Im so ready to just find peace with myself and being single. 5 1/2 years... Its time 4 us 2 say goodbye. 😢
A great song, sung with such meaning, emotion. Sarah Brightman is a commensurate vocalist! Andrew Lloyd is a composer “for all time and all generations”. 🥰👍
Don't write a letter when you want to leave Don't call me at 3 a.m. from a friend's apartment I'd like to choose how I hear the news Take me to a park that's covered with trees Tell me on a Sunday, please Let me down easy, no big song and dance No long faces, no long looks, no deep conversation I know the way we should spend that day Take me to a zoo that's got chimpanzees Tell me on a Sunday, please Don't want to know who's to blame It won't help knowing Don't want to fight day and night Bad enough, you're going Don't you leave in silence with no word at all Don't get drunk and slam the door That's no way to end this I know how I want you to say goodbye Find a circus ring with a flying trapeze Tell me on a Sunday, please Don't want to fight day and night Bad enough, you're going Don't leave in silence with no word at all Don't get drunk and slam the door That's no way to end this I know how I want you to say goodbye Don't run off in the pouring rain Don't call me as they call your plane Take the hurt out of all the pain Take me to a park that's covered with trees Tell me on a Sunday, please
I first heard this sung by John Darnielle (Mountain Goats) which is rather interesting considering the song works so well, even after being recontextualized, to be from the guy's perspective. Song writing at its finest.

Ironic. The exceptionally talented writer of this song stupidly broke off his long relationship with this beautiful goddess exuding talent, by fax machine.
A fine example of a nice melody ruined by a lyricist with a hangover. Where did the chimpanzees come from? I suppose a trapeze was the only logical next step. Personally, I would have tried to rhyme everything with 'Sunday'. Or 'Cats'.
No, she has utterly NO emotional range. Lovely singing, but not a bit of expressive emotion. Watch Bernadette Peters sing this same score, and she makes it come alive. SB was always pretty, and sang prettily, but a TERRIBLE singing actor.
This is definitely the best version. Her voice is amazing
👑
The love of my life left on a Saturday night. I didn't know she had gone till Sunday morning. To all who miss her she will never be gone.

This really is the best vocal performance of this song. Well done, Ms. Brightman!
The Best version of this song!!!!!!!!! Her voice is perfect, beyond perfect. Sarah is the best
I love this version, but it doesn’t make me tear up like Michael Crawford’s version does
Ms Webb?
Hauntingly beautiful... heartbreakingly sad... [weeping]
I hope you are feeling better now.

Don't write a letter when you want to leave

Take me to a park that's covered with trees
Tell me on a Sunday, please
Let me down easy, no big song and dance
No long faces, no long looks, no deep conversation
I know the way we should spend that day
Take me to a zoo that's got chimpanzees
Tell me on a Sunday, please
Don't want to know who's to blame
It won't help knowing
Don't want to fight day and night
Bad enough, you're going
Don't you leave in silence with no word at all
Don't get drunk and slam the door
That's no way to end this
I know how I want you to say goodbye
Find a circus ring with a flying trapeze
Tell me on a Sunday, please
Don't want to fight day and night
Bad enough, you're going
Don't leave in silence with no word at all
Don't get drunk and slam the door

Denise Van Outen does an excellent version. Very emotive.
How natural she was then...

Gosh I love this 😍😍😍
Perfection!
Looooove
I’ve never heard her belt before. I’m actually really into this!
Other versions are great. But something special about Sarah’s version here… every syllable enunciates heartbreak
such a heart breaking song.

Denise Van Outen she does the song this video stars a very young Sarah Brightman singing the song from the west end production.
Great song!! Does anyone know when and where this video of Sarah Brightman was recorded?
Makes me think of you Rafael. I wonder how you’re doing

lol...jack....a little knowledge makes one think they know..but just shows...they are funny
Agree wth u Jack.
She's perfect as Christine but not so for this song. Marti Webb is great in this show
Love marina prior singing this too
I have to agree, this whole performance just seems really off for some reason. I think she’s far too focused on annunciation
Deslike
banana estrelar why?
