As a mongolian, I can say that these lyrics are the literary translation of the original song. Sounds crazy good in our language. Great cover!
Good to know, I was wondering!
thats awesome,
@Alcatraz 46 yes I agree with you, it can be a good tribute to both Cliff Burton and Metallica, my favorite song too :)
I was gonna say, this sh*t sounds familiar.
To Be Honest I love the Language it is so Cool I want to learn it !!!
I didn’t ask for a Mongolian cover of Metallica, but I also didn’t realize how much I needed a Mongolian cover of Metallica until now. This is amazing
So many times do we really need something and never know until we receive it.😊
That's why it's always good to try new things

They should do an AC/DC one too like T.N.T. or Cowboys from Hell by pantera in Mongolian style

In the 90's the German band Rammstein was popular and most people didn't understand the language, now we are in 2020's and we have the Mongolians.. May heavy metal live forever amongst all nations!
Would love to see a Hu x Rammstein crossover song or album
Metal is a universal language

Man, Id be so proud of my heritage if I was Mongolian. Being descendants of a warrior society is very honorable. Im just a Texan, but sure do respect the ancient cultures of afar.
A great many of us Texans carry Mongol DNA via bits and pieces gained from one or more "native" American Indian forebearers. Bloodlines aside, though, fellow Texans commonly share the same warrior *spirit.* _Shoog!_
@@ChollaRanch ...sorry but this is a SERIOUS stretch. Mongolia came long, LONG after the indigenous people's of the Americas had settled in and started to form their own societies. I mean...we ALL have bits and pieces from our "native" African forebearers too...doesn't mean I'm going to go around saying I have African heritage. Technically true? Sure. But also, not really...
@@drewg4323 Yet America's First People and the ancient Mongols of the Siberian steppes today retain the same customs and implements of shamanism (e.g., drum builds and techniques, etc.), continue to fashion tipis/teepees and hogans in the same manner, display the same symbols (including the khas), even as the Inuit still throat sing. Random? Sans further contact over so many millennia, I think not.
@@ChollaRanch Yeah sorry but no sell. I'd think if anyone would understand cultural appropriation it'd be...
Look I respect that you take pride in your deep and lengthy genetic heritage, I do, that's great, but you have no shortage of your own great warrior people who you ARE directly descended from to take pride in...I say leave it at that.
@@drewg4323 I don't entirely disagree. _Remember the Alamo!!!_
I have heard s song or two on the radio here in the USA, just now seeing and truly listening to this Mongolian Rock/Metal music is a true wonder. I know how different cultures of art music poetry can influence people all over the world, yet even though I am not Mongolian and know very little of their rich culture, i feel something primal within me stir. Forget the translation into English the primal energy in the native language is where it comes from. I find myself drawn to the rhythm, the beat and just the atmosphere that is created by the HU. I hope to see and hear more from them as they bring a light into a dull and dreary life. Eith all the struggles we as humanity face the Hu have shown us the joys that we as a people have forgotten. May the HU continue to show us the way it should be.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I agree whole heartedly.

While crossing the Mongolia/China border, we met 2 Mongolian man who didn't speak a word of english, but using only body language, they offered us a ride from the border to the Capital.
After 8 hours of driving through the desert, in the dark, we found ourself in a private club in the capital, celebrating one the guy's birthday, while we were treated as the guests of honor.
They stuffed us with so much food and alcohol that we passed out, and then they took us to a hotel and paid for our room!

Mongolia is sometimes refered as “Minegolia”. Mineral rich, our country’s mining industry really took off since 2011. The downside of mining is harming the nature including air and water pollution, destruction of animal habitat and harm to local communities. The lyrics and the music video teaches an important lesson for all of us. 🇲🇳 ❤️ 🌏
this should be top comment
I suspected that this was the underlying theme. It is a very powerful message.
Yes. The video indicates the pollution and the greed. it is very well done. And the Native Americans have the same problem with destruction of our lands and sacred places from greed and pollution. When we stand up for clean water etc.... we are beaten down ...literally...
Yeah in mongolia you can see the smog in the air and lots of babies die of lung problems and seasons are messed up so livestock die

TBH I had a dream idea for a song partly based on wolf totem but instead, half the battlefield would be Mongolian played by the HU and half Vikings preparing for battle with each with the song going back and forth between the HU sound using instruments that are specific to Mongolian culture such as the Morin khuur this is while the other half switches to the Nordic equivalent(or as close as we can get because of difficulty perfectly copying historic material) then the music later more combines together.
