You know, of all the unexpected things this century has given us, Mongol metal is one of my favorite.
I'm pretty sure the Mongols have always been Metal, they just didn't know it until Metal happened. 😂
They are kinda awesome..
Have you seen Bloodywood? It's Indian metal and super good too

Try mongolian rap, specifically Qu, its insane and beautiful and hardcore
The HU was the last band my father and I discovered and raved about together before he passed away earlier this year. Music is a powerful bond for family and for culture. My dad would have loved to have heard this. Cheers to The HU, rocking out across the steppes, across the deserts, across the world, bringing families and cultures closer together.

If he listened to Hu band, then rest assured he made it to Valhalla or at least Mongols' version.

A blue-grey wolf howls to the moon
Blue Mongol is to awaken from the deep sleep
The sun is to arise from the west
The father, lord Chinggis is underway to rereign
This is the Mongol
Singing as bowing the Igil khuur
The great Mongols dance biy biyelgee
Sons of Mongol are to return home from abroad
The noble elder, father Tengri proclaims
With hazy mountains of magnificence
May the fortune of the Mongol thrive and prosper
The Black Banner of our ancestors will awaken us
Blessed with destiny and bounty
May the Mongols live in blissfulness for eternity
Glory of our ancestors shields us
This is the Mongol
Our old gray father is to visit to the land of living
The earth and nature are to rejoice
The fortune of Mongols will descend as the blaze on fire
Our glory will be honored in this world forever and ever

I remember my parents telling me "you can't understand a word". Now I'm a parent and still loving metal. You don't have to "understand" a word - it's metal it's its own language anyway.
I remember listening to 'Ministry - Jesus Built My Hotrod' 30 years ago and not understanding a word of it. Apparently that was in English. Does not understanding the words make it rock less?

This band is beyond great!! I'm 58yo and grew up listening all great rock band from 70s and 80. For alot of years when became adult I stopped listen to music. Until!! I accidently found them on UA-cam one night. I was awe struck... I had no words for how their music touched a place in my soul that I thought died along time ago. I get goosebumps listening to them. Just when I was sure there was no more true raw authentic unique talent that all ages and gender love and appreciate this musical talent we've been blessed with. Straight from heaven IMHO. Thanks HU for blessing the world. It's been so overdue and desperately needed❤❤❤
This band is a breath of fresh air. I've been a rocker for 53 years, and I've seen bands come and go. If The Hu was put on a ballot to be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame today, they would have my vote, and I'd never regret it. Not only does rock music need more bands like this, the world needs more people like these guys to share their talents and way of life so people unite instead of fight. In Russian, many words are of Mongolian origin, I listen to these songs and realize that many words sound familiar.

Can you give us some examples please?
You probably know this already, but Mongolia (specifically, the Golden Horde) ruled over ‘Russia’ for a couple hundred years. So yes, that would make sense.
“Ура!”-“Huree”which comes from Mongolian, has no expression in Mongolian and Russian, but emphasizes a strong atmosphere and mood.
