Strawberry hill is a hardy down to zone 4. Its a very pretty rose but I prefer Gertrude Jekyll for its bright color. If you are looking for a short climber I would recommend st swithun since its a very healthy rose. Strawberry hill is healthy too but I am not a fan of its color and shape.
How was the winter with strawberry hill? Do you recommend her? I’m in zone 5a as well.
