I honestly believe he wasn't iv seen past addicts act like that it's a permanent thing that just stays with long time abuse of many nasty drugs. A example would be my mom she's a past addict and she's been clean 6 going on 7 years now and yet she has tweaker moments or seems jittery. My bestfriend Matt actually did glass like what that lady was most likely doing he's been clean a year now doing really well for himself but he gets the same way as that dude very emotionally expressive and hyper sometimes it's like the drugs f your body up permanently.

It’s like you ppl have never seen real mental illness play out omfg. 1.her ability to switch moods so quickly is likely due to bipolar or BPD. 2. Her attitude didn’t help but she literally just found out she was cheated on, given herpes as a result, and dumped. Boy would you be shocked to know a LOT of people react the same way but don’t get posted online for it. 3. She needed mental health treatment not jail obviously and the second officer seemed to be the only person using deescalation tactics. Holy shit I’m better at diffusing situations in my retail job than most of these officers. Use your brains UA-camr commenters.

the female officer that helped the woman who kept saying she had mental health issues needs more recognition. regardless of whether or not the woman was high as a kite, the officer spoke to her in a manner that would help comfort and deescalate someone going through a MH crisis, so kudos to her for giving the benefit of the doubt and acting accordingly
Agreed agreed. It impressed me. She was very professional and knew she was not in the right state of mind and under the influence but handed it so gracefully.
I know this comment is old, but there's a longer video of the encounter and she is super nice and comforting throughout.

Then a meltdown in hospital, shouting rehearsed feminist battle song, "Shout, shout, up with your song! Comrades ye who have dared, first in the battle to strive and sorrow!" while they wrestled her into a wheelchair to the delivery room. She got injuries from fighting off the ether mask that finally knocked her out. Obviously she was not trusted with the newborn for some days. That was '71 and she's still a public _and_ private embarrassment much like those in the video.
Men, I understand the desire to help a woman who has problems. I even understand that handling a demon is hot. But flip it around and ask yourself if the genders were reversed would you approve? And should a child take your place when you've had enough?

For the second clip: although it didn’t help too much in this case, the multiple attempts at sympathetic de-escalation by that female officer is something every police force needs to implement. It’s the bare minimum to attempt that first.

I have BPD and I’m autistic and both were untreated a couple years ago and I acted just like Bianca. I was absolutely crazy and I didn’t use substances at all. I wouldn’t be surprised if her mental health issues are the reason for at least 50% of her behavior.
