We asked five teams to create levels in Super Mario Maker and compete for the exclusive title of Super Creator. Watch this preview video to get a taste of the action, and check back tomorrow to see all five levels and vote for your favorite!
Who will take the Super Creator trophy? Only you can decide!
Official Rules: Vote for your favorite video by “liking” it on Nintendo’s UA-cam channel at / nintendo between 6PM ET on 9/2/15 and 11:59 PM ET on 9/9/15. Use of script, macro or other automated system to vote or with the intent to impair the integrity of the voting process is prohibited and all such votes will be void. Video creators may not vote for their own videos and are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to voters. Uh, I don't think there is an actual "bad theory". Just ones without enough evidence. And MatPat has a bunch of research and evidence in his (excessive amounts of FNAF) theories anyway that make them sound believable. And thus, everyone chooses to.
Then again, I'm probably overthinking things and should head back to Tumblr.

Snipper Joey It was a fairly terrible idea, they're limiting the amount of money that people can make from Nintendo related videos (money which a lot of people get as a career in youtube) which, in turn, makes less people want to do videos on Nintendo games, which also reduces the amount of free advertising that they could be getting from youtube. They should be welcoming youtubers with open arms as the advertisers that they are. Let's plays are a GREAT way to sell games, but for some reason Nintendo doesn't realize that yet. I love Nintendo, but it's just one of their flaws.

Of all the people in this challenge, Jirard is the only likeable one among them imo.

***** If the level is beatable it can be uploaded. If it was uploaded and then later on changed, that later version would have to be beaten too.

Why is it every time IJ is in something Nintendo uploads, there's a bunch of hate comments calling her a sellout?! Like, she makes money doing stuff that she loves doing. If that's selling out, then I WANT TO SELL OUT TOO. WHERE DO I GO TO SELL MY OUTS?

I don't think she is a sellout at all. What I do think however, is that she isn't a gamer. They should get people for these that are actual gamers. Jirard and MatPat are perfect for this type of thing, and I could name tons of others that would be great too. But they need actual gaming UA-camrs, people that have a passion for gaming. I just don't think that iJustine has any passion for gaming.
+ToastCrossDimensions What constitutes as an actual gamer? Don't you become a gamer by playing games? She may not upload a lot of video game-related videos or as passionate as others, but from what I can see on her channel, she still does gaming-related videos.

Jirard has played two Kaizo Mario games, and is playing a third now. MatPat is a very smart man who can overthink everything, I'm assuming, so I'd am most excited for their levels.

Whatever Nintendo is doing they are doing it good! They are acknowledging youtubers, getting PC games on Wii U, and all these new releases that make me want to cry with happiness. Thumbs up Nintendo.

Guilherme Hentz The Strawberry one and the duo with the chick with the strangely colored hair. I know of iJustine, I just don't watch her (I only ever saw her in that Miyamoto video, and the entire time I was just thinking "come on Nintendo, why not introduce Miyamoto to someone with a huge focus on gaming on their channel. Those people have gamers as subscribers, and subsribers that are gamers are more likely to buy your systems!"
Rooting for either MatPat or Jirard, IMO, Jirard is the most skilled out of all of them at Mario and will probably take the cake.

Looks like the Completionist found his toughest game since Skyrim (which took him over 500 hours due to a petty glitch), Sonic 06 and Hyrule Warriors.
+Dean Wynn just let him complete a Monster Hunter game propably gonna take about as long a Skyrim if not longer getting all those rewards and S ranking all those Arena qests will take a lot of time and hard work

Mario Maker is one of my most anticipated games this year.

Guys, go to Super Beard Bros and look at The Completionist (Jirard) play Kaizo Mario. He is going to win this for sure.
After seeing them all, here is my list:
5: Silence of the Yoshis - It's a bit simplistic with somewhat repetitive challenges, but it looks fun, nonetheless.
4: Sneaky Sneak - I like its premise, and it has a very open-world vibe; but that doesn't seem suited for Super Mario.
3: A Game Theory - My favorite in the puzzle aspect; but it seems short and, once again, not befitting of a Mario game.
2: The Struggle Is Real - It is obviously a challenging level, but it may be a bit too much especially at the very end.
1: Torture Town 2 - It's a nice and combination of puzzles and platforming, and it is very challenging yet has a rhythm.
But iJustine IS NOT A GAMER! Why do gaming thing feature her? Two of these people are perfect, Jirard, and MatPat. They should have gotten more UA-camrs that are actually gamers. Maybe ProJared, or PBG, or JonTron, or Alex Faciane. Any of these people would have been WAY better than iJustine. I don't know her at all really, she might be a great UA-camr, I really don't care, but she IS NOT A GAMER!

In my opinion, and I am perfectly fine if others disagree, she does gaming content because she saw that it got extremely popular. Many other youtubers did it because they adore gaming. She does doesn't seem to have any real passion for video games. And I was just suggesting game reviewer type people. If you want others, look to basically all of Polaris. They are all super talented, invested gamers. I just feel like iJustine never fits in these events. It just doesn't seem right to me.

I just like MatPats voice and how much of an intelligent guy he is... I only watch his Fnaf theorys for the story of the game, I still dont like FNAF Games though.
I loved him BEFORE he did FNAF & still do, but his FNAF theories are overrated

I don't understand the love hate thing Nintendo has with UA-cam... like, unless things have changed since I last heard, they have that ridiculous "We're going to take like 50% of your profit if you play a Nintendo game because you need us" thing, but then they keep doing things like this with a bunch of (notably high subscriber count) UA-cam channels
I imagine Jirard to completely nail this. He has a lot of experience with 2D mario games

Nintendo, stop. Just stop. I understand wanting to have a lot of levels ready for launch, but I have seen a lot of popular UA-camrs streaming this and posting videos and even a news story concerning a Content ID Match from Playboy (yes, Hugh Hefner's Playboy) for playing the same level as them.
I am beginning to think that your entire reasoning behind Nintendo World Championships 2015 was solely to hype this game and to get passengers for the hype train. I feel overexposed to it now, and I want to go Sabin on your hype train and Suplex it.
Either release the game or curb the exposure for it.
