The same thing happened to me rats love eating lexus wiring. My mechanic quoted me $1000 to fix it. He only pulled codes and didn't actually look at the car. I asked him if he had changed the ignition coils around to make sure. He said no. He's no longer my mechanic. Saved $1k. Tobacco sauce works to keep rats out, too.
Thank you so much for this video! The same thing happened to my ES350 where the squirrel chewed the number 6 fuel injector connector wire triggering P0306 and P0174. Save me a lot of time and $. Thanks again!
Bro I have a 07 and just did all 6 coil packs and plugs. You gonna have to replace em all cos little by little your car gonna start tripping. Good video tho.
Hey watch the end of the video, it ended up being a chewed up wire on the number 4 injector connector! Thank goodness it wasn't one of the rear cylinders😅
Did you try what I did by switching the coil with another bank first? And then try switching the spark plug with a different bank (or a new one). If it's still doing it, then check the injectors wire.
All that little crumbs looking stuff is like stuff rats bring in so wherever you park it you got to change where you park it and obviously clean all that crap out so when they go back there they get a little surprise and because it's the intake you could take a pallet or two or three of like the decon rat killer and throw it in that little valley or by the coils it's going to happen more and more with winter
I have a RX350 Lexas and I continue to have misfire with 2 and 6 cylinders even though all coils and plugs have been replaced several times Any idea’s anyone ??
@@speed3000gt I have a similar situation as @brian warnock. Cylinder 1, replaced spark plug, coil, intake plenum gasket. 120k miles. Fuelinjector wires look good. Any idea? Thank you.
I have the same problem says I have a misfire on 4 I just switched it and continues on 4, now its throwing p0351 aswell says ignition coil A/ secondary circuit

Agreed!
You should always replace the entire engine because little by little, it keeps tripping codes.
To save time its best to go ahead and replace them all while you at it
2:04-2:05, it seems that a small stone fell into the ignition coil housing....
Glad you saw that too😭🤣 my biggest fear
🤣 you gotta clean before you start
😂😂
Mine shows missfire from coil, but doesnt say wich coil it is? Can you help. What can i do to get precise coil malfunction?
Might as well change em all while you’re ahead to avoid the guessing game
I currently have the same issue. Cylinder 6 misfire. I can not find the issue.
