I could be misstaken ,,but I think your front brake calipers are not standard and the master brake cylinder...Looks a nice bike to me..I too have a 75 The calipers have a red spot painted on (do,nt ask me why !!!!!)
if the rear Shock Air pressure is raised the Bike will be easier to place on the Centre Stand those Shocks look a little shorter than the Original ones?
OK Kickstarter,,, My my GL did not have a kickstarter,,so at GREAT expense I got one,,, I kick it one time,,then the next time it did not work,,,,,, Bummer !!!
These are SO worth taking the time to bring back to original! Have fun!
100% worth it. They are 99% of the time better original.
They all smoke when sitting on the side stand.
Never thought about that but I’ll keep it in mind. The bike definitely smokes more than it should tho.
3:08 GL's were 1000cc's from 1975-1979. The GL1100 engines began in 1980.
