    Weight is 1450g ?
In australia- Western aust is 1450g.
    Victoria is 1500g.
    Nsw is 1500g.
    Qld is unknown .
Why not should be all the same weight.

When the race is not part of a series or sanctioned event, the club can flex the rules as they wish. For example, the club I race at doesn't require the interior be added to the body.

    Thanks for you reply CJ!
But you don’t change your spur right? Can you tell at least what would be a good start? I run mostly indoor carpet

That's correct, I've never needed to change the spur gear, just the pinion gears. I just go up or down one tooth at a time and see how the change affects the car.

I'm working on setting up my losi xxx-s for vta. I'm having a hard time with rear end grip and I've noticed my car doesn't have a rear sway bar. Do you think that would be a helpful tuning advantage? Or am I limited to rear camber and toe?

I really want to try the Advance 21 or the M5 Pro for my Vta build. I'm not sure which one yet.

All good cars. If you decide to get the 21, get the 21 mid-motor(21M), not the FF21... just my recommendation. I think you'll do well with either. Get a really fast servo... It's one of the few advantages you can get in VTA. Check out the Reefs 299. It's one of the fastest servos available. I've got several and love them. I just put one in my Xray T4 21 that I'm building for USGT.
      Thanks for watching!

@@familyfuncarscrypto9879 Yeah, a lot of shops/tracks keep the info close to the vest... then wonder why more people don't show up. It shouldn't be like pulling teeth to find out what the classes are and what the rules are for each class... especially when a lot of clubs don't follow the rules put out by the big race organizations.

Is there a sport compact class or European class? I want to race my dream car not my grand dad's.

    Hi! thanks for the video
are you using the 83 spur that comes with the kit? what gear ratio are you using for the 25.5 motor?
    regards,
    Luiz

Hi Luiz, It wouldn't be helpful to give you a specific gear choice. I sometimes change gears several times over practice, heats, and a final. It largely depends on the layout of the track and the length of the race. For example, if there are a lot of long straights, I'll gear for speed. If the track has a lot of tight corners and short straights, I'll run shorter gears. You also have to remember that a taller/faster gear will wear down the battery faster so you've got to take that into account. Also, sometimes I race outdoors on asphalt which tend to have long fast straights. Sometimes it's an indoor track on carpet. These are shorter tighter tracks. Also, carpet is less resistant than asphalt and there is no wind indoors... all these things come into play.
I recommend you buying a bunch of gears so you can experiment during practice and heats... I've got 5-8 for each type of racing.
      Best of luck,
      CJ

      Thank for the reply!
You also keep changing the spur? It’s very painful to switch right?
Can you at least say what range of pinions you are using?
