THE WELSH SEASIDE Abersoch (Machroes)

Machroes is just over ½ a mile south of Abersoch if you take a leisurely stroll down the beach, which joins the two. By road (ie country lane) it is around twice as far, albeit it a pleasant ride or walk
The atmosphere there does seem quite a bit more genteel, or perhaps serene and this is likely perhaps because it is not choc-a-block with visitors as Abersoch is
Like Abersoch there are some rather attractive beach huts, also boats being launched/retrieved from the beach - it’s very interesting to see tractors wade into the sea to help do this with boats on trailers following
There are public toilets available, along with a café and shop
