Yesterday for here in Australia we had a guy doing a serious stabbing spree in a westfield shopping center. Tragically a baby got stabbed and the mother of the child also 5 other people. The world is going to shit and its been building for a while but soon it will be time for us all to start to fight back and bring this crazy times to a hault. I hope everyone is safe as these horrible events unfold and wish everyone the best in the comment section.

Just to name 4 out of hundreds of bands. Refuse/Resist from Sepultura. Why do you think that most Rock and Metal folks are so against Politicians. Because we savvy. We see right through their BS. I dont want to be shot and killed, who does, but like most serious music fans I will NOT stop going to live concerts even if it means an army of Chinese soldiers will end my life. I wouldnt regret it for a second because life is all about taking chances and doing things rather than to let things hold you back from doing the stuff you really want to do in life.

Given 75 is around life expectancy, if evenly distributed, that's about a million people for every single age in years from 1-75. Say fighting age is 20-40 years old, that's 20 million Americans who meet the criteria to represent us well. That's more potential than the combined standing armies of most other nations combined - assuming they don't also mobilize.
According to google 35.9% of the population is ages 18 - 44. Which makes roughly 120,234,447 people. Subtract the 77% that arent qualified and that leaves around 92,580,524 people.

As much as I hate to admit it, I totally agree with the statistics about our youth and how unfit they are to fight. I'm pretty sure Gen X was the last generation that would have been suitable for it. But with most of us in our late 40's now, I hardly see that happening. Face it... We've gotten soft, and our enemies know it. That's a big reason why they're showing so much disrespect towards the United States right now. We are not feard as much anymore. I hope people are ready, because the day is coming that we'll be defending ourselves right in our own streets...

This administration wants a war with Iran. Any attack lately even if a smaller terrorist group lays claim to it, the U.S. is blaming on Iran. As soon as they can spin an attack on Israel to make it look like Iran did it, I think U.S. troops will be in this mess

Concerns like these are why those of us in law enforcement should remember to stay vigilant, continue to train, and always carry when we are off duty. I have and will always carry when I go to large venues. Not sure I could live with myself if something occurred and I could not at least try to do something.

I think that’s what my dad told me they did that in the 60’s during Vietnam. To answer C in oz, he went in willing after Highschool and was in the early stage of Vietnam. I believe from 1963-65.
In the 80's my brother had all charges dropped, joined the army, became a ranger.
My son is in the Army! Graduated high school on honer roll and 3 yrs later decided to hoin the army to make a difference in the world!!!!Starting his Sargent position at Ft. Hood any day now he's 29 yrs old I just hope he don't get deployed to Israel or Ukraine!!! There's a problem with the army or jail concept, conscripts like that could turn army into jail. Sure, they'd be obedient and merciless soldiers, but serving with them would be a nightmare for regular people. Dedovshchina is one example of what can happen, and I'm glad I never got to experience it during my time in the service
