I live in El Paso, was born in the U.S, and am a veteran, but I have family in Ciudad Juarez and regularly go to visit. I have seen these immigrants huddled about on both sides of the border, most have expensive tennis shoes, clean, fashionable, name- brand clothing, they are clean shaven, the women with freshly applied cosmetics and neat hair... They appear to be in better shape than many Mexican workers and U.S. citizens... Somethings just don't add up - jobless, destitute, homeless, living on the streets etc. people look it! It is well known that many upon arriving in Mexican border towns, get involved in the criminal underworld- drugs and prostitution. On applications it's hard to get jobs now as an American because Spanish speakers are always recommended due to the rapid climb. I'll never forget my time in school, I grew up catholic and had alot of Spanish friends since I had to go to both Spanish and English mass. But when it came to school we all knew English or tried to learn enough. I'll never forget my last year in school. I decided I didn't want to do a second language class. Well half way through that month we had 13 new students in my class alone. All from Honduras. My gf was from there and she would translate. She told me they didn't respect any of our teachers or any of us who weren't Spanish speaking. They literally got put into our school system and slowed us all down. I live in El Paso, was born in the U.S, and am a veteran, but I have family in Ciudad Juarez and regularly go to visit. I have seen these immigrants huddled about on both sides of the border, most have expensive tennis shoes, clean, fashionable, name- brand clothing, they are clean shaven, the women with freshly applied cosmetics and neat hair... They appear to be in better shape than many Mexican workers and U.S. citizens... Somethings just don't add up - jobless, destitute, homeless, living on the streets etc. people look it! It is well known that many upon arriving in Mexican border towns, get involved in the criminal underworld- drugs and prostitution. Otherwise, where are they getting money for clothing that an average worker cannot afford? ( Even in the U.S.)

As a Democrat I have to agree that all of the Mexicans in Mexico can not come to America, or America will turn into a country like Mexico. I feel bad for their situation, but there are people all over the world who are searching for a better life that the US don't look twice at, yet Mexicans can just walk over the border? Afghanistan, where people died hanging on to airplanes to escape, Africa that doesn't have food or clean water, I can go on and on, almost every other country. America is already struggling helping Americans. Inflation is through the roof. I've been around places like NY, and certain cities are now predominately Mexican. In the streets with loud music as if they were still home and growing every day through more immigrants coming in and rapid childbirth rates. On applications it's hard to get jobs now as an American because Spanish speakers are always recommended due to the rapid climb. Big tech would rather higher a Mexican for cheap labor rather than the lower and middle class Americans that need work and require a fair wage. This is bad and I don't know about that Mayor there, but he's obviously Mexican also and is expected to put Americans well being over his own people? Of course he wont. I love my party, but this is one issue I can not and will never agree with. The way other asylum seekers and such come here is the process Mexicans should have also!

It is only in certain places within certain countries within Africa that there is no food or clean water, and most definitely not in the way the media describes it. I understand your perspective and I have compassion with your concerns. The issue is what are we Americans going to do because we are a government of Law and Order. I'll never forget my time in school, I grew up catholic and had alot of Spanish friends since I had to go to both Spanish and English mass. But when it came to school we all knew English or tried to learn enough. I'll never forget my last year in school. I decided I didn't want to do a second language class. Well half way through that month we had 13 new students in my class alone. All from Honduras. My gf was from there and she would translate. She told me they didn't respect any of our teachers or any of us who weren't Spanish speaking. They literally got put into our school system and slowed us all down. Let's just say I learned Spanish Ed in Art lol

I’m working in healthcare and it’s so sad to see our elderly retired citizens who have been here all their lives, who are paying for their MEDICARE but when they are sick and needed expensive medications these are being denied or required a high copay VS. an undocumented illegal immigrant getting EVERYTHING approved at ZERO COST.
