I did mention the fragrance in the No 1 but I didn't provide additional details. The Touch does not have fragrance as an ingredient and the No 1 has "A delicate floral fragrance full of energy. Radiant citrus and berry notes unfurl into a smooth blend of white musk enhanced by jasmine absolute."
Thank you for a great video !!! Also you saved me $60 because I have the Chanel N0 1 and was considering the Touch as I just love Chanel but I don’t need doubles..thanks again !
Like you said….very close. I did enlarge my iPhone screen and when I observed the two sides again I liked the Chanel 1 foundation better. So I say ….BEAUTIFUL!!
So helpful! I was already thinking about passing on the new Touch product, but this solidified it for me - I already have Chanel No 1 foundation (and the Water Fresh Tint), and I don’t use either. I prefer the Sublimage, or the Ultra Le Teint for a very perfected, long-wearing look 💗
Thank you for the great video. I have also fair neutral skin B10 in the No.1 foundation and yesterday I did have a sample for the B10 the touch so did my own comparison. My 48 year old skin is normal . By for my favorite is the No.1 foundation because it gives me a much better feeling of hydration on the skin and the coverage is better for me all day long. The touch makes my skin drier and gives not a nice appearance after half an hour you see all the fine lines. The amount of product I use is very little 2 pumps of the no 1 and I did also the same amount for the touch . So it's not a case of using much to much products.
They both look beautiful and very similar on you Jen... I'm wearing the Touch in B20 which is my usual shade in Chanel and am absolutely loving it! My skin looks so plump and hydrated and is glowy without looking shiny or oily. I will have to compare it to the sample of the No1 that I have. I also go the Intense Coral and have tried the light pink sample in the blushes... love them too and yes you can definitely wear the intense coral... I also have a sample of the Deep Apricot... will let you know how that goes, but I'm loving these two so far... will be getting more shades, just need to decide which ones.
I've been looking forward to this vid. I'll be sticking to No.1 - it's perfection for my my skin and my preferences. I hope they never discontinue it 😱 I have a theory about the Water Fresh and the Touch : Ok, here goes .... The ingredients in both products are exactly the same except for the water content. The Touch has far less water, meaning it isn't as diluted as the WF (Water Fresh), and the amount to purchase is a lot less (a smaller bottle) - practically running equal to the reduced water content! I believe the Touch and the WF are the same product, just one is made with less water, therefore, it is more concentrated. I think, I think too much 😅 Love you loads 💜💙💜💙💜
I definitely agree with you about the no1 foundation . Normally Chanel foundation’s are not compatible with my skin because of formulation and tone . But the no 1 foundation feels sooo nice & hydrating gives a beautiful finish and lays perfect on my skin . Because of the more sheerness of the product it gives a nice tone with for me the B10 . Normally the B10 is on the to yellow side for me , not with this one .
I totally agree!!! I love the Water Tint on the days I want a no makeup look and have very little to cover. It’s so sheer but gives my skin a magical finish. I purchased the Touch and although lovely I don’t find it very special. The No 1 along with a few other of my light coverage foundations are just as nice and maybe even better.
Thank you so much for the comparison! The No. 1 has been my go to foundation this spring. So I did my own test today. This morning I applied the No. 1 to my face and wore it for about 5 hours. It was over 90 degrees today. Then I came home and washed off my make up and applied the Touch.. The one thing I noticed, the Touch seems to wear better in the hot, humid weather. I’m really loving the Touch! And I can’t wait for my Warm Pink blush to arrive!!! Thanks for the video!!!
I thought these were similar when I was watching another review, which compared the two Water Fresh products. On you, I know the No. 1 looks way more natural. The “Touch” seems to have a white cast. I find that my original Water Fresh Tint also has a white cast to it.
I havent picked up Chanel No1 yet. I just purchased water touch one. I love the original one, so i think i will love it the new one. I love how that peach blush looks on you. I might going to get it for fall, when i wont wear bronzer. I purchased intense coral. And i still thinking to get deep peach. Have a blessed day🙏🧡
I have the Chanel 1 maybe I’ll wait on this skin tint also I am medium skin tone barely and bought the deep bronze and it’s stunning just need to use a light hand but I think anyone could use it again just use a light hand. Thank you for the comparison! It also lasted all day I work at Disneyland and wear a mask it was still on very well after a 9 hour shift! Are the blushes limited edition?
I’ve been waiting for this great comparison since I have 2 shades of the Chanel No1 & although I love that I see no reason now to purchase the touch, thank you! I am light medium and have the start of my summer tan and the light pink blush shows up on me and I really like it. But my skin is more yellow than pink so perhaps that is why.
Hi Jennifer!! Quick question, how do you find it to apply over sunscreen? That is my deciding factor. I currently wear the Ulta Le Teint which does great over my sunscreen (Avene solaire spf 50).
Hi Maria, I recommended a specific SPF in my latest video, if you would like to check it. I still have to try the Tatcha. I purchased a travel size to try it.
I feel like if I want to conceal I’d want something with more coverage and I don’t need more all over coverage than the Water Tint. If I did want something more medium coverage there are plenty of other Chanel foundations. I guess I don’t get the need, but I might get a sample.
This is a very useful comparison. I think you are implying that if you have the No 1 foundation you may not need the complexion touch as they are so similar in finish. How does the wear time compare? Is one foundation more suitable for dry complexions? Thank you Jennifer.
I’d say they are both really good for drier complexions but I think the No 1 is a little more moisturizing. And the wear is about the same, at least on me
Complexion Touch is preferable for people with sensitive skin and/or rosacea imo since it’s fragrance free. No 1 turned me red thanks to the usual Chanel boatload of fragrance.
Just pinned a comment about that very thing. I will say the Chanel No 1 fragrance does not bother my skin but its important to note that it does have fragrance.
@@Allfeisty I’ve had rosacea for over 35 years so have my personal triggers down pretty well, and in general fragrance is a no go for me. As long as I avoid my triggers my face is calm and pale, and no one would ever guess I have rosacea, but it’s a bummer to be unable to use so many things people rave about.
@@ratherbquiltn that’s amazing. My rosacea acts up for all kinds of reasons. I have had good results with lasers but haven’t done that for two years and looking forward to making appointments for later this year!

Love the Chanel No.1 I wonder if that blush will sink into my lines. I think I may be turned off to the water based tints. Rats.
So glad you did this! Exactly the comparison i wanted.
Great comparison! I wouldn’t have thought of pinning these two against each other. This is making me lean toward N1 for sure!

I’ve ordered the Touch. No. 1 is my current favorite foundation. I’m 65, and blurs, and covers enough without settling or looking heavy ❤️

That is it…I have resisted the urge to buy those lip balms but you had me at they are great…..had to buy a couple and used your code…Thanks. 😍😍.
I hope you love them as much as I do. I’m totally obsessed. 😊
Such a great video. I’m so glad you did this. You are so very helpful to me. And save me money. Ok, NOT REALLY BUT 🤦♀️
Hi!!!
Imma go buy No1 all I own is a tinted moisturizer lol
By the way do you prefer nars tinted moist or __________?
THIS was so helpful!! Reaching for my No.1 today. Thank you for all your hard work...:)
Greatness! Happy Tuesday! Brooklyn

Get intense coral! It’s beautiful! I have that and warm pink!!
Wow, thank you for saving me $70!! What sunscreen do you use under the Touch?? Great review, and great inspiration!!
I just received Complexion Touch today, and my initial impression was that while texture is much different, the coverage resembles Mac Face and Body
Hi, thank you for this comparison! How about wear time? In your opinion, is there a difference? 🙏🙏🙏
I’ve been waiting for this great comparison since I have 2 shades of the Chanel No1 & although I love that I see no reason now to purchase the touch, thank you!

So it applied fine over my sunscreen. I use the new tacha one. The silk sunscreen
Hi Maria, I recommended a specific SPF in my latest video, if you would like to check it. I still have to try the Tatcha. I purchased a travel size to try it.
If you want to try the BEST lip care (in my humble opinion 😅) go for “Total lip treatment” from Sensai
I'll have to try that

Do you know if they are replacing the Chanel Water Fresh with the new Touch product?
So I was told that it is an additional product and that they are planning on restocking the teint. I’ll let you know if I hear otherwise. 😊
I was told today by Chanel Customer Service that the Water Fresh Tint was being discontinued.
@@Lisa46875 was it from one of the boutiques? Thanks for letting us know. I’ll ask my Chanel contact again!

I think the touch side looks brighter or healthier
Are you fair with cool undertones? I’m trying to figure out which shade to pick up in the foundation.
Yes. I am 😊
I do see a difference, #1 has a bit more coverage and it looks more natural, like it blends well on your skin, while the other looks more superficial
The one on the left looks a bit more coverage to me, but not enough to notice.
Hello Jennifer! Here again
