I recently hit 1,000 subscribers on UA-cam so thought I'd do a short little video to celebrate Danish-style, as well as share some of my favourite moments from my first year on UA-cam. Enjoy (and thank you)!

Congrats on hitting 1000! I hear ya on the getting more comfortable with talking on camera. I used to do so many book reviews on my other channel so now I feel so out of practice speaking so I just haven't yet, except for a voice over lol. It'll come back with time. :)

That hot dog looked so gross lol. I'm such a child - just ketchup and bbq sauce for me, thanks! I absolutely loathe pickles and raw onions. There's this weird hot dog stand in Vancouver called JapaDog. I had a hot dog with some sort of mashed potato thing on it, another had noodles, and my third was a teriyaki version. Strange but oddly tasty!

LMAO 🤣 ! Yeah my favorite 🇨🇦 Canuck 🇨🇦 🤩 ! The American "Youngs" made the same mistake, ordering a French Hotdog and were almost kicked out of the Country 🤣 (they rectified it though) 🤣🤣🤣 ! A French Hotdog is for eating on the go, and when your in a hurry and hungry. A Danish Hotdog is either boiled (there red) or roasted (light brown). Both of them require you to stand still and enjoy the moment and flavor😊. Thinking that a "so called" French Hotdog is Danish or French, is treason in both countries 😎 ! My favorite is the roasted with everything on it. I go fully loaded (in danish slang there called "en ristet øgle med slam" 😀 ). Translates into a "roasted lizard with sludge" 🤣 ! Just the slang, not the actual taste 😊 !
Oh that's so funny they did the same haha, I must've missed that! Yes I'm sure the French would also be horrified to think that anyone thought that was a true representation from their country 🤭

Hi Erin! I just left CPH and wanted to thank you for a *superb* channel! Because of you, I visited places that weren't in my radar at all like Olufsvej, Karamelleriet, Kastellet, and even the cemetery! Due to timing, I wasn't able to visit Galst Bageri 🥲 but I highly recommend that you check out Juno the Bakery! Their cardamom bun was exquisite 😍😍😍 anyway, congrats on 1k. An awesome milestone 👏 for an awesome YTber. Every city needs an Erin 🤓🤓 I'll check in on your channel from time to time even though I won't be back to CPH for a while. Keep up the outstanding work!
