Hi Larissa, thanks very much. I've been to Amsterdam many times for work, but I've never filmed a tourist guide for it. I'm sure I'll make a video before the end of summer 😀👍
Nice video, but you forgot to talk about where you ride a boat in a canal. Make sure that you don't die to the zombies tho. Zappers and also be a real threat too, espsially in a cramped place. You also have to sink a brish ship. Overall, nice map!
This is a great video, I have been Copenhagen several times although mostly as a child and it’s nice to find some things I haven’t done before. I am so annoyed about the Carlsberg brewery, as I visited last in 2019 and it was closed due to renovations. As I’m going this august I thought great it’ll be open only to find no it’s still under renovation and won’t open until after I’ve visited!
You should definitely try going to the north of zealand - like the city Helsingoer - Hamlets home (Kronborg) is astonishing!! Also a few cities before has “Louisiana” - in the city Humlebaek, very famous modern museum close to the coastline. Also it’s almost coastline all the way up from Copenhagen to helsingoer! Very pretty 😊
I tried to book one for this weekend, but they're only allowing visits to the museum as they're preparing the rest of the stadium for the upcoming championships.
As a Dane I would like to add a few tips if I may? The dining places mentioned in this video is all extremely expensive yes, but there are plenty cheaper options. I would never buy food in Torvehallerne. Furthermore there is an ice cream store chain called: Ismageriet, that makes perfect ice creams. It’s not expensive and they have a new taste every week.
What a great guide to Copenhagen. I haven't yet visited but was thinking about a visit so, ave watched a couple of different YT videos for guidance, your video included detailed pricing, different places to visit and a very calm manner. Thank you so much.

I love your video. Best Copenhagen video I have watched so far. I noticed just a little something though. Frederiksberg Palace and Frederiksborg Castle (The Danish Museum of National History which is in Hillerød) are two different structures. I think I heard you say Frederiksborg while the video showed Frederiksberg near the Copenhagen Zoo.
Yes, thank you very much. I realized that I mispronounced it wrong once and then correctly the 2nd time around, but I'd already edited the video at that point. Thanks again.
thanks mate! Loads of useful, actionable info again.. Just psyching myself up to pay 50-100% more for everything but I suppose it's not too far off London prices..
Yeah, it's a nice city and the attractions are reasonable enough. But food prices are insane, so be prepared for that. Otherwise, I think you'll enjoy Copenhagen!
Thank you for this video. I'm taking my son on graduation trip to Denmark and Norway. All the tips are helpful. Neither one of us have been overseas before. What time of year did you go?
Fantastic, I hope you enjoy this graduation trip - it sounds awesome! 😀 I went to Oslo, Norway in the summer (June) - the weather was perfect, save for a couple of rainy days. That video will be up within the next few weeks. And I visited Copenhagen in early April - it's generally very pleasant, but if it's cold, rainy and windy - the city is not so fun to walk around. If it's sunny and warm - you'll have an amazing time. If you have found this video helpful, be sure to share this on your social pages. But in the meantime: enjoy your trip across Scandinavia! 🙂
@@kirilleparisien It's not a bad place, but there's nothing special or unique that would separate it from any other mid-size English city. And thanks! 😀
I'm planning a trip in Feb for my 50th. I love your vlog. Can you tell me what month was this? It looks like some people are wearing winter jacket when you were showing the shopping center. TIA
Hi, thanks very much for your comments. This was back in early April, it wasn't freezing cold but it certainly wasn't warm. When it's rainy and windy, it feels like winter so I'd advise bring wet weather clothing just in case. Hope that helps?
Thank you for this informative and entertaining video, Ninh! We will visit Copenhagen via cruise for just one day (< 10 hours). Do you have any suggestions, what we should definitely do? We are two adults and a child aged 3. Even cliche touristic things like a bus tour would be fine. Thanks and best regards!
Hi Nick, thanks very much for your kind comments. Hmmm, less than 10 hours in Copenhagen? You could in theory do a circular loop and see most of what the city has to offer: Kongens Nytorv > Nyhavn (and a boat tour around the city) > Amalienborg Palace / Marmorkirken > Little Mermaid / Kastellet > Rosenborg Castle & Grounds (from the outside, don't go in) > Rundetaarn > Stroget and back to Kongens Nytorv. If you have time to do more, you can - but those are probably the must see things if you only have a short time. Hope that helps?
Thanks! 🙂 Funnily enough, I usually don't show myself eating in my videos. This is the video where I eat the most (even though it's ironically expensive), but most of the time I just show the food and not the man behind the camera eating it. 😅
Informative and to the point. I have two questions. 1. Are the canel trips worth the money? And how much is per trip? 2. Can we buy ticket on mobile app and carry the ticket digitally? Please answet if you have any knowledge on these.
Hi, thanks very much. 1) The canal trips are okay, there are several companies that offer different rides with different prices (some include dinner, some don't). 2) Most of the time, you just buy them from the sellers standing around at Nyhavn. There are some companies where you can book in advance, but I've found that it's not necessary. Hope that helps?

@@ronturford5744 yeah sorry - there's been a backlog of videos that I'm trying to make, which has been hampered due to my day job. I'll get around to it as soon as I can! :)
It's a great video of my city , I agree Tivoli is very expensive however it is so beautiful so I do recommend it even if you are not interested in amusement parks like me-I go there for the atmosphere and beauty Saturday night there is fireworks, there are often concerts ect. one correction the Queen don't own Christiansborg or Amalienborg she actually only own 1 of the many castles in Denmark and it is called Marselisborg Castle it is in Århus and then she have a hunting "cottage" plus she owns the Royal ship and a castle in France - most castle are owned by the state and some are privately owned , the Royal family have the right to use Amalienborg, Gråsten castle and Fredensborg castle plus some areas of Christiansborg
Thanks. I think Tivoli is more fun with friends, and I'm sure I would have had a better time if someone else was there (and most of the park wasn't shut and it wasn't terrible weather outside). I don't believe I ever mentioned if the Queen owns anything, I merely stated that Amalienborg is the Queen's official residence (but most of the time doesn't actually live there).
Can’t believe you went all that way and didn’t take the train to Roskilde Cathedral. It’s like the Westminster Abbey of DK where all the kings and queens are buried. Love watching your videos though 😄
Admittedly, I was running short on time and it was a toss up between Roskilde and visiting Malmo in Sweden. I figured I could at least make a city guide of that place (which I did). Gives me another reason to go back to Copenhagen, I guess? And thanks!
Hello! I will be having a layover in Copenhagen and would like to tour the country for half day. What is the best way to take (train, bike or ???) and where iwpild you recommend places to go???
Hi! Thanks for stopping by. The best thing to do is rake the train or metro to Kongens Nytorv, then explore everything around there, such as Nyhavn, the Marmokirken, Amalienborg Palace, the Little Mermaid / Kastellet, you'll have time to do a bit of shopping and possibly see Rosenborg Castle, but half a day probably isn't enough time to do everything in this video. Hope that helps?
We’re returning to Manchester this year for our second visit. Incredible city! We’ll also visit Belfast and the Isle of Man. Later in the year is Konya, Türkiye and then Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice and Milan. Luckily you’ve got videos of some of these places. Fingers crossed you might go to the others before we do and make our trips even better. Lol. No pressure. Thanks for what you do!
Wow, that's quite a trip! I know I've already done videos on Manchester (my city), Venice, Rome and Milan. I also have footage of Belfast that I haven't cut into a video yet, but you'll probably see that soon. Thanks again.
10:30 Fun fact: "Pølse" isn't the name of the dish itself - It is just the danish word for "Sausage", which a lot of people use as slang here, for a Hotdog :)

Quick question for you, I have a Operator ID # and a Flyer ID # for the UK. Do you need something similar to fly in Scandinavian countries or will that work? Thanks for any advice you can give me.
Hi Jon. The Fly and Operator ID's that the UK Government issue are only valid in the UK. The rest of Europe's countries differ but they have something similar in place (i.e. where you have to register it with the government). Sadly each country appears to have its own different rules, so for example when I droned in France, I had to display a government issued number (which was free) and in some other countries, I had to pay for a permit. I think Denmark is covered by the EASA, so if you register with them and display the number on your drone, you should be good.

Bakken is my favourite place to visit. Its delightful!
I was going to visit Bakken, but Tivoli Gardens put me off going to any more theme parks.
I'll probably visit the next time I'm in Copenhagen?
@@UltimateBucketList oh too bad. I lived in Copenahagen for nearly a decade and Bakken was my favourite place in the city, magical, and FREE to enter. Tivoli Gardens is a tourist trap, in my opinion!
Well made vid. I missed some of the sights in your vid simply because i used the hop on hop off bus which normally covers all the sights! Obviosly they didn t .
Thank you very much! Yeah the tour buses don't cover everything, so it's usually best to explore these things yourself :)
Hey, love your videos! Looking for Amsterdã, do you have it? Great work!
Hi Larissa, thanks very much. I've been to Amsterdam many times for work, but I've never filmed a tourist guide for it. I'm sure I'll make a video before the end of summer 😀👍
Nice video, Copenhagen get definitly on my bucket list.
Greetings from Pula,Croatia
Thank you! One day I hope you get to visit Copenhagen and have an amazing time :)

Thanks for doing all the hard work , great video! very informative
I appreciate that, thanks very much!
Nice video, but you forgot to talk about where you ride a boat in a canal. Make sure that you don't die to the zombies tho. Zappers and also be a real threat too, espsially in a cramped place. You also have to sink a brish ship. Overall, nice map!
Ummm, okay thanks.
Beautiful video! Quality is really great too.
Thanks!
Thank you very much - and yes, the Carlsberg Brewery is still under reconstruction and won't open until after you've left.
Just like the last time!
Yes, I shall certainly endeavour to go to these places the next time I'm visiting! Thanks for the pointers!

Killing it mate, class video. Jamaica next?
Jamaica would be nice, would have to be a hell of a trip, as it's a big country.
Great analysis..balanced and very informative..well done..
Thank you very much!
Hey man, love the content, have you ever thought about doing a stadium tour at Wimbledon or going to a game and recording it?
I tried to book one for this weekend, but they're only allowing visits to the museum as they're preparing the rest of the stadium for the upcoming championships.
As a Dane I would like to add a few tips if I may? The dining places mentioned in this video is all extremely expensive yes, but there are plenty cheaper options. I would never buy food in Torvehallerne. Furthermore there is an ice cream store chain called: Ismageriet, that makes perfect ice creams. It’s not expensive and they have a new taste every week.
Thank you for the review. You are awesome!
I appreciate that - thanks for your kind comments :)
What a great guide to Copenhagen. I haven't yet visited but was thinking about a visit so, ave watched a couple of different YT videos for guidance, your video included detailed pricing, different places to visit and a very calm manner. Thank you so much.
Ah, thank you very much!
I'm glad you found this video helpful and I hope you enjoy your trip to Copenhagen.
Be sure to check out my channel for more videos like this, especially if you're thinking about taking the train across to Malmö (Sweden).
@@UltimateBucketList Thank you. I also watched your Malmö video, again a very enjoyable watch.
Some nice points of interest we agree.
Great video. Helped me to make decision: skip Berlin, come to Copenhagen!
Thanks very much! Berlin is an interesting city also, but Copenhagen has a massive variation of attractions that might keep you more entertained?
Great video! Thank you
You're welcome! I'm happy you found this video guide useful!
Check out my channel for more like this 🙂
thanks mate!
@@UltimateBucketList well, it's constantly number 1 or 2 in the "happiest country" list so let's go and see what the fuss is about..
you got the right hotdog!!! the ones I used to eat as a child in the 1970s. Cool😎
Yes, those hotdogs were amazing! 😎
Just a Great Video. Im in copenhagen and it helps Me alot 😮
Thanks! Glad this video helps you. Enjoy Copenhagen!
Amazing! Well done video!!
Thanks very much!
Wow wonderful
Thanks! I hope you get to visit Copenhagen soon.
Thank you for this video. I'm taking my son on graduation trip to Denmark and Norway. All the tips are helpful. Neither one of us have been overseas before. What time of year did you go?
Fantastic, I hope you enjoy this graduation trip - it sounds awesome! 😀
I went to Oslo, Norway in the summer (June) - the weather was perfect, save for a couple of rainy days.
Love the video I love the videos in general!!!! Could you make a video in Bristol if possible?
I've been to Bristol before, but sadly I'm not going to be there anytime soon.
@@UltimateBucketList is it a nice city? It’s because Ik going there next week anyways love ur channel
@@kirilleparisien It's not a bad place, but there's nothing special or unique that would separate it from any other mid-size English city. And thanks! 😀
Thank you for your video. What is the weather during late February?
Thanks. It's generally very cold in February, so be prepared for icy conditions.
Love the added humour!
Thank you! 😊
You could in theory do a circular loop and see most of what the city has to offer:
Kongens Nytorv > Nyhavn (and a boat tour around the city) > Amalienborg Palace / Marmorkirken > Little Mermaid / Kastellet > Rosenborg Castle & Grounds (from the outside, don't go in) > Rundetaarn > Stroget and back to Kongens Nytorv.
If you have time to do more, you can - but those are probably the must see things if you only have a short time.
Hope that helps?
@@UltimateBucketList Thank you very much for your quick and helpful reply! 🙂
Много полезно и приятно за гледане видео! Браво.
Amazing guide; really enjoyed it
Thank you, much appreciated!
Really helpful and entertaining video.
One small ask: a bit less on showing you eating all that amazing food. thanks!
Thanks! 🙂
Funnily enough, I usually don't show myself eating in my videos.
This is the video where I eat the most (even though it's ironically expensive), but most of the time I just show the food and not the man behind the camera eating it. 😅
Good video! Very informative. 😊😊😊
Thanks very much!
Copenhagen does looks wonderful - nice video
Thanks - yes it is definitely worth visiting.
yes - i'll put it on the list!@@UltimateBucketList
Jolly good show.Keep doing it!😄
Thanks :)
Tremendous video. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for commenting :)
@@UltimateBucketList Only found your channel today. Am off to Copenhagen in 10 day's time. Your video was a tremendous help and really enjoyable. Is the Amelienborg Palace video nearly ready for upload??
@@ronturford5744 hi, thanks very much for your message and kind comments. I'm sure you'll enjoy Copenhagen. As for the video on Amalienborg Palace, I've run into a backlog of videos that I need to edit, so it probably won't be uploaded within the next 10 days. That said, it's definitely worth exploring :)
@@UltimateBucketList Hey thanks for letting me know. It would have been great to see the other videos - but actually this first one is tremendous and really, really helpful and packed with information. Thanks.
@@ronturford5744 yeah sorry - there's been a backlog of videos that I'm trying to make, which has been hampered due to my day job. I'll get around to it as soon as I can! :)
Some minor correction, Rådhus means town hall or city hall. I think you got confused with råd and rød (rød means red).
Yes, I've been informed - thank you.
Excennent, going in June, thanks for all this good info
You're welcome, I hope you have a wonderful time in Copenhagen!
you should go visit Gent. I had a wonderful time there, and you'd probably get a good video out of it.
Cool, seems like a nice place to visit. Thanks!
Yes, I'm aware that pølse means sausage. But it's slang for hotdog so I used it (just like you said). Thanks for your input. :)
thx nice informative video
Thank you very much - I hope you found this video guide helpful!

But in the meantime: enjoy Copenhagen 🙂
Loved Denmark when we went there
It's a pretty cool country to visit, for sure.
Great video, thanks!
Thanks very much!
Amazing! You even got the Carlsberg 47, one of my favorites here in Denmark! How’d you like it? 🍺🍺
Carlsberg 47?
@@UltimateBucketList I meant the beer you got in Nyhavn, it was a Carlsberg 47 😉
@lenni1970 oh yeah, sorry I totally forgot I had that! 🤣 I don't think you can get that in the UK, probably why I bought it! 😉
@@UltimateBucketList A very good choice my friend 👌🏽😜 btw, are you gonna make any more whisky vlogs? I love the ones you have already made, especially the one on Islay, I have watched it countless times 😅
Thanks! I was planning to do a Highland Whisky Trail during this summer (Dalmore etc.) to co-incide with a video on the NC500. Sadly, the summer seems to be filling up with work, so it might be later in the year.
Please can you do a video on the best small city. Galway Ireland. I've just been there & it's incredible. Lovely scenery and people.
I've never been there, but sure - why not?
@@UltimateBucketListit's lovely, it has a great art festival too. I just got back from there with my mum. They have great hotels and hostels there too.
Check out the 60min City Tour bus too. It's a 48h ticket and you can use it to get around the city. Although it's very walkable. We flew into Shannon airport. Definitely check it out. One of my favourite places.
great video bro🎉
Appreciate it! Thanks very much!
Hello, if one cannot visit all 3 palaces , which one palace would you recommend to go to?
Excellent question!
If you only have time to do one - probably go to Rosenborg as it's a lot more interesting with more stuff to see than maybe the other two.
My favourite was Amalienborg, but Rosenborg would be my choice for any tourist.
Did you have time or interest to check out Bakken? Even if it's north of Copenhagen, I heard it's free (as opposed to Tivoli Gardens).
I was a little bit put off by Tivoli Gardens, so I never bothered with Bakken.
I might go back one day, maybe?
Cool video. Many thanks.
