I really like the way you demonstrate, even the littlest things that go into a good composition for example, the extra highlights from the house, hidden rocks in the snow. A lot of tutorials show you how to do the big things, they might even tell you they are doing some small things, but they leave out the reason why. A lot might be obvious to them, professional artist, accomplished artists in some way, but for me...just someone whose retired and paints at home for the enjoyment, I would have missed them. Thank you 😊
This is so beautiful. I have always wanted to live in a little cottage in the snow and this is everything I always pictured! My daughter and I are going to try this one on the weekend. I won't do yours justice, but it will be painted with love, because it's everything I ever dreamed!

This video is fabulous! You discuss every step as you go and you explain exactly WHY you are doing what you are throughout the entire video. I now understand more about painting in 2 hours than I did from any other videos in an entire year. I changed mine just a bit and put a church in place of the house. It's certainly not as beautiful as yours but I now feel like I can get there with practise. Thank you!

Feliks, I accidentally tapped on your video and was mesmerized almost immediately by your night sky transformation. I took acrylic painting in college for a semester and loved it but then life got in the way. I haven’t painted in years but I just might sign up for lessons! I love the brush and went on line to see about purchasing it. Disappointed to see they are made with goat hair. I don’t buy art products that use animals so could you consider making synthetic brushes in these styles, sizes, and designs?

Feliks I’m your newest viewers about 10 yrs ago I did 3 oil painting I loved it,but it was all in the studio. I just never had time to get back although I really want to get back into painting. About 3 days ago I came across ur video tutorial and you inspired me so much that last night I went and bought the supplies but I couldn’t find this brush for blending in-fact I couldn’t find anything even closest to this, suddenly I came across makeup brushes can I use that?
Secondly do u use heavy body paint for all ur painting I bought a 48pack liquitex but u mentioned different brand so i will go back and return it.
I would love to see a beginners supplies list and color list every one should use when attempting any of your painting

This blows me away! I saw you put a blob of paint on a blank canvas and then turn it into something stunning! I don't know how to paint. I can't draw to save my life. And yet you make it look so easy! In 2 hours you turn out paintings I would LOVE to have hanging on my walls! I just wanted you to know your tutorials have me mesmerized from start to finish. I might even borrow my 87 year old mother's paints, buy a canvas, and see if I can't follow along with one of these! Being disabled I'm always looking for a hobby that I can do from my bed. It can't be as easy as you make it out to be.

I have never seen any one pair like this. Starting with such heavy thick paint then lighten it with color and water. Gives a great effect. I am still not sure I follow just how your doing this but I will try. Does your acrylic paint not dry to fast to lighten the areas by just adding water. ???
Samuel Barnett the paint must be dry before adding the clouds...the reason it gives the effect the paint is transparent...it's like glazing on top of the base..or underpainting..which is the first colors he put down...
