Great gun, unfortunately for things state side. Third party manufacturers need to step up an make spare parts for the gun for basic repairs. Spare parts are few and far between.
I mean they could also do it themselves since IWI already make the parts. Good rifle but the drawbacks will keep it from ever going extremely mainstream. There is a reason why every western special forces use M4 style gun. Even if their main/conventional forces use Bullpups. So the market will stay relatively small imo. If the bullpup won the NGSW program then 10 years later bullpups would be insanely popular.
Random question, not sure why this happens (talked to IWI support too, they saw it in their shop x95) after taking my x95 apart, there seems to be a bit of trigger slap when you first prime the handle. Have you experienced this? when you chargec in the video, sounded smooth and straight through... mine (and others) seem to have extra sound/movement.
I'm in Maryland and looking to do the same setup with a huxwrx can. I need an OAL of 29" for Maryland so the 18.5" barrel is mandatory for me. Does anyone know if the 18.5" model with a huxwrx QD muzzle brake makes the rifle 29" overall length??
Can you do more on the x95s role in the current conflict ? Are units using it, has it ran into issues in the field, does anyone prefer it over a traditional ar15 set up. Anything related to the current conflict and the x95s role in actual combat.
@@Tacticalfitnessaustin360 I would love to see footage of it in actual combat. I’ve owned ar’s before. When the laws changed in NY I was forced to buy a Tavor because it was the only decent assault rifle I could own legally. I probably wouldn’t have bought one otherwise. However, I really like it. I like the concept and advantages of a bull pup and I like it better than an AR after owning it a while. I always wondered if SHTF here in the US if it would hold up in actual combat so I would love to know every detail about what going on with it in Gaza as it’s very similar to a situation that could happen in the US.
Are they getting replaced because the Ar15s are better or are they replacing them because the ar15s are cheaper and people are more familiar with them. I would really like to know either way. I love my Tavor and personally think it’s 1000x better then an ar15 but I would like to know what the soldiers think.
Can you do a video on how to learn to shoot an optic with height over bore? I have same riser with Eotech. Have a 50 yard zero. Where would one aim to get hits at 200?
Two questions: 1) is it personal preference that you use the vortex instead of an ETOTECH since they’re both holographic sites? 2) I’ve been interested in getting it but I was going to change the barrel out to get better than three MOA accuracy is that necessary? Since this one is cold hammer, forged and chrome lined which I was not really aware of.
Eotechs delaminate and that has been an ongoing issue for a while. Unlike law enforcement you can't just replace yours after a couple years of use. Remove the plastic ring that makes the handguard touch the barrel. Free float will help with accuracy.
i still don't understand why IWI made the lef-hand switch on X95 that much more difficult comparing to Tavor 7, and why you need a left-handed bolt to do that.
Because the X95 came first, the design is decades older. They didn't make the X95 more difficult, they made the Tavor 7 easier - and it comes at a cost to reliability.
Actually, the IDF *just* announced they're dropping the entire Tavor series and moving to either: Gilboa (silver shadow), MZ (Emtan), Arad (IWI). 2 winners will be picked from the 3 contenders.
@@G19Jeeper Cause the release can get stiff in cold weather, so having an easy backup would be good. Also don't have a AR yet so not sure would probably run M-lock.
@@tf841 I have an X95 and haven't had issues with the button release. It frees up my left hand for a proper mag change rather than worrying about simultaneously having a fresh mag, an empty mag and the mag release all in the same hand.
Would love to see more specific tips and tricks with the X95 like the table top technique when loading. It became my favourite platform after that!

Good idea. Will work something up.
It’s widely used right now by Nahal, givati, and Golani brigades.
Most guys in reserve prefer the M4

Very helpful, enjoyed. God bless Israel ❤
Good tips. I too find the stock trigger to be very good, not sure why so many people are trigger snobs

It has to do with the geometry of the lugs in the chamber.
