Honestly, 'Quill' is pretty good as a Spellclash name.

Nova: Very book smart but quite naive
Quill: Fairly inexperienced socially (maybe due to his age) but has a lot of common sense

That's called low Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma, respectively (I know Quil has like 14 Charisma but he doesn't act like it unless he's giving out burns to corrupt mine-owners).

That buildup for Spellclash was worth it. I was cheering and applauding for Qill.
I have to say, aside from the satanic bell cows scene, this has to be one of my favorite episodes so far. I mean, IT’S HILARIOUS. And Quill gains some confidence, I think?

This episode was AWESOME! I love all the characters but Quill was just so good in this. Tom just seems like a really fun, humble, all round great guy!
I'm becoming more and more convinced that Gaurdians are sorta of inspired by Vex from Destiny. City of Glass, The Prime and other little things
Also Quill's spellclash name SHOULD be Thunderbird!
The Guardians are inspired by the Guardians from Destiny, specifically the exo. Echo is a ghost, like exo they go insane as they age, their origins are mysterious and they were made for combat

It's probably a mix of references. At 18:05 Mark even calls them Warforged. The Guardians and Beastwalkers do seem to me to be Warforged and Shifters flavored for the campaign. Even the Echos are an actual item Warforged can have in Eberron.
I wonder, this City of Glass that Tracker mentioned, it doesn't happen to have a vault, does it?
So... this whole way to get into the Spellclash tournament - by challenging other duelists and betting your own chips against theirs and the more you get the better chance you have - is essentially the first season of Yugioh, yeah? XD Continuing to love the show! Look forward every week, and can't wait to see what else is in store!
I loved Tom's destiny jokes. I know they fell on deaf ears, but I certainly appreciated them.

Oh my god I love Lucius. Trott is so good at roleplaying this character. There are countless little moments in just these past 22 episodes that show how deep and dynamic his character is without feeling forced or rushed or out of character. I only recently started watching HR, I got into it via Altheya and I've been watching Aerois so I can let the Altheya episodes build up.
Thank you all for providing so many hours of fantastic art and entertainment- never forget that these stories are beautiful, living pieces of art that YOU have created. Thank you, High Rollers :3

I literally cannot believe they didn't came up with idea of dying and/or shortening Valla'a hair. Dressing her as a boy would be a probably(?) good idea. Maybe not though.
I get the feeling that they are more invested in their characters' stories and goals than with the story that Mark as DM is laying down, which is usually the case in D&D games and probably as it should be.

Didn’t nova discover that solven was at the bottom of the ocean when her and century were comparing map records or whatever?
I believe they know there's ocean there now, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's down at the bottom of it. I mean, the Genasi came to Aerois when their city got swapped with a High Elf one, I believe, so who knows what's where after a god-war.
This is also a setting where cities fly, so there's plenty of options for it to not be there anymore.

Their names should be "Problem Seekers" and people can call them "Seekers" for short sounds cool and I played a lot of Dragon age: Inquisition and hearing "Seekers" reminded me of running the Inquisition maybe THEY should start an Inquisition of their own!

I miss these fun times ;o; I love what's happening NOW but damn this bonding between the characters and funny moments, I really miss them. Lucius vs cows and Lucius chasing Chancey around the arena with a dagger always bring tears to my eyes from laughing

Chancy, dovakin savior of Skyrim. Loses to the colored prince in a duel, does that mean that Lucius can solo a dragon?
For future info and/or anyone reading these coimments to prevent possible mistakes in the campaign they run in.
The Paralyzed condition includes the Incapacitated condition within it.
The Spellcasting rules in Chapter 10 state that being Incapacitated breaks concentration.
Therefore, hold person would break concentration.

I know I'm super behind but my theory for why the Prime appears to failing guardians is that it's using something along the lines of the astral projection or dream spell to appear to people. The problem is that guardians don't actually dream. However as they begin to decay their periods of inactivity and reliving old memories mimics a dream state to the point that the Prime's spells can contact them.

TEAM BLACK LIGHT SHOULD BE THE TEAM NAME (uncovering problems, constant fancy light spells, novas entire stuff and quills faith alligns with the light while katie is thor and black light can symbolize a storm
