    GREAT video Shane. I was getting worried, a tile video without a butt crack. "Butt" then 6:54 came and there it was.
    You ask Justin to reveal all his trade secrets and then "less talk and more work". You are a tough task master.
    Poor Justin can win. We are anxious to see the other rooms in a finished state. Keep'em coming.

    Do you grout where the tile meets the ceiling, or is that finished with silicone?

    • @diyforknuckleheads
      @diyforknuckleheads  8 років тому

      +Wallyboy You can either grout, caulk with 'No More Gaps' or apply a bead of paintable silicone. I siliconed mine. Just be a little careful if using silicone as it can be messy. Cheers

    What color silicone do you use where the grey and white tiles meet in the corner?

    • @diyforknuckleheads
      @diyforknuckleheads  8 років тому

      +Michael Witte We used a white silicone which blends in quite well.

    Great Vid Shane. Why do all people who tile and grout make it look really easy to do? Take Care my Friend, Barry (from England)

    When that tiling is done, does it need a sealer over the top? I know JUstin mentioned the stone ones but does it make a difference for the tiles you have, Uncle Knackers? Done well mate, needs more cups of tea though :P

    I tell customers tiling is easy and bad tiling is even easier!! ;-))
    I do the first wipe of the tiles at 45 degrees to grout lines never along the lines to avoid the risk of removing any grout.

    Funny to see any contractor doing work without shoes LOL. I too hate the way he can just slap tiles up on the wall and make it look so easy, just comes with lots of time doing it but come on at least make it look like it takes a little effort :)
