Nintendo and Metallica hiring the same lawyer for this job
Lars will serve the summons PERSONALLY!
That would be awful and awesome at the same time.
Considering how Metallica used their lawyers to help Beatallica with their problems with Sony probably not. It depends on Lars being a fan 😆

"For Whom the Bell Tolls" sounds like the ultimate boss theme.
It sounds straight out of the original doom imo

lol I bought "brick in the wall" by pink floyd. about the same quality, it started right in the middle of the chorus, but it was the style at the time...

Doom vibes
My left ear agrees with this statement.
ride the lightning solo always goes hard no matter what
Mix on the solo is off, solo is far too quiet compared to the rhythm.

The intro to For Whom The Bell Tolls sounds like a boss fight theme in an old 2D top down game

First Doom for me
The Call of Ktulu sounds like if Peach’s Castle was a Zelda dungeon
Or a boo castle.
To me it sounds like a pre-final boss castle
This is Gannon's castle from Ocarina of Time lol
It sounds like a Doom track
Definitely has a Link to the Past vibe.
I can totally see For Whom The Bell Tolls as a Mario level and a boss battle.
I can't believe someone combined one of the most intense soundtracks ever and combined it with Metallica's Ride the Lightning album.
16:11 The Fade to Black intro is so sublime. 👌👍
Almost sounds like a 2000s hip hop song
it sounded almost like a summoning song
During that intro I started catching old RuneScape vibes and that triggered a whole different chain of memories. 😅😢
Ending too
@@Alxe_OST holy shit you're right
Can we quickly talk about how Trapped Under Ice would sound great as a Mario Kart song
I thought that song and escape really shine with these versions
Me who listens to Trapped Under Ice whenever i race:
Sure, go ahead.
Call of Ktulu sounds like something for like underground
0:00 Fight Fire Flowers with Fire Balls
4:43 Ride the Star Power
11:15 For Whom the Bob-omb Explodes
16:14 Fade to Game Over
23:27 Trapped Under The Mushroom Kingdom
27:07 Escape Bowser’s Castle
31:44 Creeping Dry Bones
38:10 Call of King Koopa
So original brah
9:03 incredible riff for a boss fight or tough level
00:00 - Fight Fire Flowers With Fire Flowers
04:42 - Ride The Secret Slide
11:15 - For Whom the Clock Tick Tocks
16:11 - Fade To Black Bowser's Castle
23:08 - Trapped Under Cool Cool Mountain
27:07 - Honeylune Ridge: Escape
31:44 - Falling to Death
38:10 - The Call Of Koopa
Quick bit of trivia. Fade to Black was actually originally titled the Hills Run Red!

Fade to Black still hitting as hard is crazy
Fade to black hits a spot I didn’t know anything could, so sick
I can't deny it, when I switched it to Form whom the bell tolls, I was banging in my head
Favorite Metallica album of all time
I love this album too.
It really is such a phenomenal album
It is superior to MOP yes. Lightning #1
@@eazymethod01 uff hard to say
@@recipoldinasty I feel like the only thing that holds back MOP for me is the production. It's so clean. Lightning still feels dark, grimy, and dangerous.
its amazing how well this translates to mario music
Anything with a more traditional compositional style fits amazingly into Mario
And here it is…something I didn’t realize I needed in my life
I love how the bell sounds at the beginning of "For Whom The Bell Tolls" are Mario going "yahoo! 🎶", lol.
mario gets electrocuted and fukin dies
Creeping Death is by far the best on the album in my opinion
Easily, will always be my favorite Metallica song
Dude that's about as heavy as I've heard midi
Finally, the correct opinion.
Creeping Death for the headbang
Fade To Black for the sadness
Personally, it’s a tie for me between that and Fight Fire With Fire. Pretty much every song on the album is great tho, so it’s hard to pick favorites
Can we just talk about how amazing Call of Ktulu sounds especially the solo at 42:12 . The trumpet goes so hard, it's amazing! Great work!
It seem to me that's synthesizer, not trumpet 😉
@@littleayrton54 synth is based on brass as its origin, hence the similarity hehe
I was about to say say that!! It so seemlessly fits in the sound font, and 100% sound like something you'd hear in an n64 game for the most part
When I saw this pop up in my recommendations, I shook my head. Then I said, "What the hell, let's entertain this."
This is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard...
This is like the soundtrack of my childhood. Blasting this album and playing this game. Epic job well done.
Yeah, I was getting into albums like this and Kill'em All around this time, got Justice on cassette 2-3 years before then though, literally just randomly picked it at K-mart around 4th grade lol, I'd heard of Metallica on the radio(don't recall having knowingly heard them on the radio but probably Black Album stuff) but IDK if I even knew it was a Metallica album I just thought it looked cool. In 2nd grade got Megadeth SFSGSW on cassette in hand me downs from my older brother among mostly rock and hair metal stuff. I knew Justice was something really special and started playing guitar at 12 too.
Trapped Under Ice goes so hard lmao
Yeah it sounds like an actual Mario kart soundtrack
The beginning of creeping death has to sound mean and scary, but it just sounds so happy and nice
Fade to black works in every sound font.
Incredible song
Literally anything from Tool would go crazy

All he is doing is copying and pasting a midi in anvil studio. I hope these mario 64 asshles get DMCAd up the ass
As a 30 year plus Metallica fan I enjoyed that way more than I thought I would and should have! 🤣 That was fantastic!
Fight fire sounds like Sans continuously laughing in the background. THE GODS ARE LAUGHING.
One of my fav songs ever is Fight Fire With Fire. Such a beautiful opening with the acoustic, then a slow fade into one of the heaviest riffs of the album, and i can’t forget James Vocals.
Underrated song and solos
I wasn’t expecting much from Mario fade to black by my god
Without a doubt this album is certified masterpiece in Thrash metal
I love how Fade To Black gives an epic vibe instead of depressing
Nice job, sounds like boss music. anything by system of a down, deftones or soundgarden would be great.

The Begining of Fight fire with Fire with sm64 soundfont sounds like a town in some unreleased rpg game.
Wow now I know what a bass line sounds like in Metallica
Before "And Justice For All..." you could hear bass
@@AdamG1983 Justice is the only main album from the 80s you can hear bass in consistently. The others are Garage Days Revisited with Cliff and Garage Days Re-Revisited with Newsted. I can play Kill and Lightning through my surround and there's no more low end than I get from 1950s blues recordings

'They' as in Super Mario Band? Yeah, those guys are tight af!
The best part about this is my whole life I've felt like the beginning bit of "escape" felt like some late level in an NES game lol. Like one where colors get a bit weird and the difficulty is all over the place. Hearing it like this just reinforces that for me.
This sounds like the hardest boss battle ever
