I’m wondering if you could do a review on the ASICS METARISE which many argue are the best volleyball specific shoes or if I should go with a basket shoe alternative?

3:36 is the exact problem i got with all my shoes i played mostly outdoors on concrete and slide my feet alot doing crossovers and euros my shoes last less than a month doing these it's annoying
7:14 I was curious if this durometer reading was done on the radial pattern or the herringbone pattern. the ridges on the radial pattern are longer whereas the ridges on herringbone pattern are probably only around 15mm long before angling. I am thinking that those turns and ends would make it harder? Not sure how a durometer really works so I don't know if this would affect the reading or not.

It is normal for your toes to hit the sides of your basketball shoes on lateral stops? Idk if it’s because my toes are shaped weird or something but my toes hit the side of all of my basketball shoes super hard. My tts is good length wise but the lateral stopping is always a problem. Some people have told me I need wider shoes, some people have told me I need more narrow shoes. I have no idea what to do. Is hard laterally stopping supposed to be uncomfortable and your toes move? Please help
My whole foot moves forward and little bit and my toes go forwards and to the side a bit. Most times I won’t touch the end of the shoe stopping forwards but I will stopping side ways (even with just a little angle). My gt cut 2 is tight in my tts but I still have the problem. I can’t go down a half size or else my toes will touch the end of the shoe which is uncomfortable. I went tts in the kyrie 8 and it was bad because of how tight they are, my foot would hit the side really hard and put a lot of pressure on it. Length wasn’t really a problem, but going up a half size didn’t fix my issue either. Idk what I need man, narrow shoes, wide shoes
@@freddiebensonstan7037 try getting a better insole or going down a half a size or a size next time, sounds like you have to much space in your shoes for hard movements
Usually means you have a low volume midfoot- there are several solutions but id have to see your foot to say for sure - i offer consulting on my website if its ever something you need

I usually do it on flat spots like on the side- trying to capture thin rubber usually artificially takes down the durometer

Are you feet or toes moving when your stopping? I like my shoes tight for basketball, so i dont jam toes or get heel slippage when playing.
