To help with arm swing I put a broken hockey stick cut short in each of my son's hands and have them move front to back. This helps with not crossing through the cest a little and causing his forward momentum to wobble to much. It's a tough one to for 10 year olds to get in the habit of not twisting the shoulders. We enjoy your videos. I wish we lived closer so Max could work with you. You explain things very clearly to your audience.
Well, I appreciate that very much! Check out my arm swing video that I took from one of my Zoom Classes. I really like your idea as well. I try to make sure young players don't get confused and develop sprinter arms that don't have a natural flow. Remember.... crossing the center plane also helps the stride elongate to the side for max bite, but you don't want to pass your far hip or shoulder. See how he does with my Campbells😀 Soup Arm Swing Training!!!
@@DuPrawPowerskating Ok, I'll take a look at it. I kind of have an idea anyway as I noticed how to turn your palms up in a few other videos. I also didn't think about sprinters arms, but now that you explained it I will keep that in mind. Thanks, I watch that now.

Great slideboard training tips that you can transfer over on ice. Your training is going to really help a lot of hockey players.
Thank you! I wanted to give a ton of value in these very strange times. Glad you liked it.
Most helpful vid on here on slide boarding
Glad it helped Boyd!
Do you have an actual workout to do? Workout for developing speed?
