Thanks for showcasing what this super affordable drone can achieve. Most reviewers just bash the quality out of the box without putting out more effort to it. I lived in Singapore for 5 years and I missed it so much specially the food so I really appreciate this video! I also watched your other video about the Neo and I was totally expecting the Singlish accent 😂 but no lah alamak

Hello. For a drone less than 250g you don’t need to register, check the “one map” app for where you can and can’t fly. As long as you’re not in the blue circle zones you are good to go. Private property, ask before flying.
hi, do you have best setting or colograding tutorial? most photoge from this drone I see online sucks and this looks like mini 4pro. Ride Safe SpitfirePT
Interesting video. Where did you get your approval before flying? I notice that some places that you flew in are designated as no-fly area e.g. within Garden by the Bay.
how do you shoot down view using dji neo without having video shaking? I've been trying to do the shoot with minimal wind still can't make my drone to stay still. we know that this drone only has EIS not gimbal axis like other drone. can I have full tutorial on this.
Hello, I recently bought this drone and have a big question. Could you please let me know if it's possible to use the DJI NEO with the controller and voice commands, like 'Circle' or 'Follow,' at the same time? Or do I need to disconnect the controller each time and switch to phone mode to use voice commands? Thank you!
Thank you! Yeah there are limitations but, finding the sweet spots makes it worth while. 60m height limit but if you think about it, that’s still pretty high. I don’t think I even reached more than 40m in the majority of the clips.
I didnt know that was a concern! I only encountered it going into ATTI mode once or twice but that was with heavy GPS signal loss or when it was in a low light situation indoors!
Very beatifull. All the place in your video are with not any permit for drone dji neo ? In those place can fly with the drone without permit ? Thank you ?
So it’s not recommended to fly over water as the sensors are not as advanced as the other drones that they have, sometimes the reflection from the water could be mistaken for land and you could run into some problems there. I did it, didn’t face any problems but definitely do it at your own risk.
I used both! For the ones with the drone following me, I used the phone. For the ones higher up I used the RC. I’ll do a breakdown of all the things I used for the video soon. You also just unlocked a new fear for me, losing the drone while controlling it with the phone 🙂↕️
Beautiful. Ive just the Mavic 3. Planning to use it soon duing my holidays. If only you be able to show tips in real life to taking gorgeous video with it.
@@Rastabugs I usually use cinematic mode for most of the flights since I am trying to get as stable shots as possible, indoors especially so I don’t hit anything
@@MitchellPhun My Neo cant hover stable when it is not bright enough? Or the Satellites cant connect right? Its a bit risky when the drones moves like drunk 😄
Is there an indication where it is illegal to fly a drone in Singapore? I remember a few months ago a chinese national got fined few thousand dollars for flying at restricted airspace. He said he flew around the Marina Bay
wow, all previous footage from this drone was awful, but this looks good! going to watch your tips and tricks video! btw how did you get permission to fly in Singapore?
I’m going to make an updated one soon. Also flying in Singapore is allowed, required only if you have a drone above 249g but also check the one map sg to see the no fly zones :)
I didn’t use any ND filters in this video, I am receiving some ND filters soon so I will do a video with them so maybe you’ll be able to see the difference. All new to me so I am excited to share this journey with you all.
Great drone moves, but the picture quality of the Neo is really not the best. And I don't like that severe stutter, especially when the drone moves sideways or forward..
Yeah!! It is a bit of a challenge with a drone that’s 135g and doesn’t have 3 axis gimbals! But for its price and its size I would say it is incredible!
@@MitchellPhun does DJI itself have fly geo restriction and tells you its a no fly zone? what about indoors like corridors .. also no fly zone is it ok to hover 1 2 meter above ground or its totally no flying allowed?
@@doel89 on the app itself it will tell you if you are in a restricted area I believe. I didn’t get any notifications when flying through corridors and rooms cos they were all properties of people I know.
Everything was shot on the DJI Neo besides the clip of me holding the Neo at the beginning. The lighting has a huge impact on the quality of the footage as well as if the drone is paired to the controller and / or paired to the mobile phone. You have more control of your settings when you connect it to the RC!

Do you still need an approval or register something even with DJI Neo? I’m traveling to SG in December.
