Hi Ladies! Yes, I always watch to the end and I am watching on replay. You two are such a joy to watch! I just giggle all the way through. Tiffany, enjoy your birthday weekend!
I love y’all’s.. podcast ..I’ve gotten so cripple with arthritis I can’t get out much any more..I still love to crochet I’m slow as I have to stope for my hands hurting but can’t stop… you both make me laugh so hard..and your patterns and crochet are BEAUTIFUL… thank you both for sharing and also your beautiful babies….I don’t have any grand babies and already 73..♥️♥️
Thank you! I was the one who asked the tension question. I don't consider myself to be a beginner, but maybe I'm not as accomplished as I think. I keep thinking that my chain is relaxed, but then invariably it later ends up tight. I've even changed to a larger sized needle for the chain, thinking it would help, but I still have problems. I am going to try to pay attention to where the yarn is on my crochet needle. I also didn't know that the actual type of yarn could affect this. Thanks to Tiffany, I always start out with a swatch. This has sadly helped me rule out so many projects, many times due to the tension, but has saved a lot of potentially wasted yarn and money. I appreciate your openness, Cindy. Thank you, both!
Hello, really enjoying sister chats. It's so nice to here and learn about yarn, stitches, grand babies and "Menopause Minute "😂 ( I am turning 55 in June and boy when I first started the transition,I felt like an Alien from another planet because no one would talk about it. What a breath of fresh air to here you two laugh about it. That's how I got through it,I would would just tell people "Well,if I don't laugh I'm going to cry" I was a train wreck! So that is why I started to crochet about 5 years ago to save my sanity. I learned from UA-cam (Didn't know how to read a pattern) Then came across Daisy farm crafts. I have 2 of the books and learning how to read a pattern from them. The books are so easy for a beginner. On my 15th baby blanket for one of my 5 grandchildren from the books as well as 3 from sugar joy( Good job Cindy🎉) Broke my heart and cried along with you when you first started and there was a negative review which I just can't understand how people can be mean about someone sharing a craft that truly helps people through so many situations. After seeing your 3 color V stich blanket today,I am heading to joann's to get those colors ❤ Thank you for bringing some joy to people that are sharing the same struggles in this beautiful crazy world. From another Menopause Minute Sister in Alaska😂
I heard that the allergy situation in Arizona was significantly better years ago BEFORE they started transplanting a lot of plants there that used to not be there.
Hello my sister chat, watching you on replay!!! Tiffany and Cindy you guys are doing such new and drop dead gorgeous blankets!!! I cannot wait to try your new designs !!!! It’s always a pleasure to see you chatting it up. I feel like I’m part of the family. I so love to hear about those grandbabies😊 Tiffany,I saw the MJ Musical on Broadway in New York last year, as you said it was unbelievable. Let’s try and stay cool!!! Those darn hot flashes😅😅😅😅 Love you❤ Olivia Gilliam-Spring Hill Fl. 45:59
As a newbie to crochet myself you are so correct about just resigning yourself to starting over until it’s done right. I have learned more from those mistakes and the correction. Great advice. I enjoy the sister chat.
I just found you two recently. You are so much fun. and the blankets are beautiful. I love your philosophy of it doesn't need to be complicated to be beautiful. I've been realizing that over and over with the patterns I make. I'm sad you are breaking for the summer, but since I just found you I have all your old stuff to go through. Yay! :)
Your new design has a lot of fair isle knitting. Tiff's sashiko like one would make a stunning shrug. I actually talked to you on the screen lol, I don't think you heard me, I'm in Australia 😂
My Son Dwight lived in Phoenix, Az at one time, and said the olive trees bother some people's allergies. Oh yah, he's my golfer son, and his son Zane!!!! Nobody else plays.
