I like the P-51 I had a chance to ride it at the electrify expo in Long Beach. I'm just not big on the square steel frame. I really wish it was aluminum or at least chromoly. But hat's off for what they have been able to make. I just feel like it's still in a proof of concept mode and needs some refinement.

It’s a bike for people who know nothing about e-bikes. I’m building a 3300w Bafang mid drive full suspension(KKE), with magura mt5 disk breaks, annd 72v battery … for $3500. All brand new and nice stuff. It will hit probably 45mph in the streets and that’s with fat tires. U gotta be very ignorant to buy this bike (or the super73)
Looking for an ebike but more for the road and paths. I would have loved to have this on the farm when I learned to ride on a Yamaha Trail 80. How does the P51 handle cow pies?😁
You should really try a sur ron, that bike looks fine at best imo. I love the fact that you still make content though! I hope you'll make regular content one day

I agree. The value of the 73 comes more from its looks and fan base. If you don’t have that then the performance needs to be much more superior. I’d buy one of these today if I knew parts/service would be readily available.
7:18 the only thing I wish is these bikes were hit 40 miles an hour I got sketchy roads where I live here in Utah. Then I need to be doing 40 miles an hour even my current bike right now it’s nowhere near it.

unlock it that the deferent did you unlock the super with the app? do the p- 51 have a unlock mode? I have a super73 S2 that i unlocked and at 250lb it goes 31mph and if my son is on it its like 42mph

This video is definitely shilled, the p51 is straight trash. I rode one at electrify expo and it’s such a wannabe knockoff of super73. All the p51 parts are straight amazon off the shelf, the pedaling is whack, the motor assist is delayed, and the overall experience is worth $1000, not 4K. Don’t get scammed
$3,850 for steel frame and not much more specs than a Rad bike at $1500 aside from the suspension and that's not worth $2k+. I'd pay $2500 for the bike right away. With P73 you're paying for the name. Hence I don't own one either.

Everyone always stacks everything against the S73 there ARE other comparable bikes out there but everyone LOVES taking dumps on S73. There’s no way you’re sporting the new torque update on that 73 and still getting that smoked the update makes a considerable difference. Lot of reviewers always seem like they have an idea of what they imagine the 73 to be and when it’s not then they knock it. Hope you didn’t get too attached to that Sur Ron the wild west days are OVER.

We’ll definitely get costs down soon! We’re currently completely manufactured in Orange County, Ca so costs are higher

For four grand that P-51 should be at least 52volt battery and 1000w motor.
It’s actually 48v but 1800w peak 😮 and if it was 52v it would be heavier and 48v is cheaper
Also the Super73 r series is more expensive and is 48v 1200w

I haven't ridden one yet so I can say personally how I feel about the Ariel Rider
I must say that the speed and acceleration are clearly worse but it beats the x class in every other way

Had our Radpower rad mini e-bikes for a few months & thankfully we got rid of them because I was changing tire tubes on them almost every week.

If you have any E-bike that goes over 28 mph it isn’t even considered a E-bike anymore by California state law and requires you to have a license
