Wow, I feel like I could tackle leather now. The thick layers - I'm thinking I'd have to hand crank my machine wheel to get thru all of them, but your tips to length then stitches and using a walking foot are really good. They are so pretty! And I'm about to put shelving all around the top of my room, so pretty baskets would help dress those up and hide all the junk I'll fill them with! Great gift idea too. xoxoxox

I just got a big remnant cut of marine vinyl at 75% off! I bet that would be perfect for this. Maybe after Christmas gifts are all sewn!
