I spent a lot of my time listening to this theme. I was the guy who loved making Miis of anything imaginable and I had a THICK Mii plaza. I've wanted to do this song for a long time, but of course it became something of a meme and it kind of made it tricky to know where to go with my version that wasn't just a "Mii Channel but it's...". Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just didn't want to just rehash something that's been done to death, especially for a song I enjoyed so much.
Zorsy is an absolutely amazing keyboardist from Australia who joined us in San Diego after playing at SDCC. He was just announced to be involved in the Steven Universe movie! We took the opportunity to finally meet up and luckily Carlos was visiting too! We had the idea that since I'd be leaving for ConBravo that weekend and they were leaving early too, we wanted to do something quick. Then we thought how cool would it be to do a one shot video where all four of us trade instruments through an arrangement. Mii Channel was quickly suggested being heavily inspired by the "Mii Channel but the pauses are uncomfortably long" video. Can't escape the memes no matter how hard you try.
We had a lot of fun recording our parts and tried to make sure everyone got a chance on everything they could play! The arrangement really sounded crazy until it all came together in the end. Frankly, we were suprised it sounded musical at all. I hope that even if it's not my most flowing arrangement, it's a fun video to watch. Please enjoy!

This video was scheduled to release this Tuesday since I'm at ConBravo this weekend, but it seems a glitch when opening the UA-cam Studio page caused the schedule date to reset.
I'm sad I haven't been able to upload it to stores, finish the thumbnail, or finish the description before it came out and it released immediately after falling asleep after a 10 hour travel day to Canada.
I like to have a much more completed project and try to be more professional with these uploads so this is a bit embarrassing. Still, I hope you guys enjoy it and I'll be working to finish this up before the con today. Hoping it'll be on stores by it's intended release date of Tuesday. Thank you for watching!

As an inexperienced guitarist, it fills my heart with joy to see really talented instrumentalists having fun. Sometimes I think UA-cam musicians forget that, okay there's a lot of focus and practice and determination, but it's called PLAYING an instrument, and that's what it ought to feel like.
Yeah man, take a break from the grind and play something fun for once. Playing something you enjoy while improving your skill is honestly the best of both worlds.

I'd like to take a second to appreciate how when Adriana sings the melody, Jules plays a walking bass to accompany Carlos's jazzy accompaniment. You guys are brilliant. So freaking good.
One thing I love about Jules' crossovers is you can really see just how each person in them has personality. Jules is a low-key headbanger who enjoys making these and memeing it up, Zorsy took it fairly seriously but couldn't help but get into the mood, Adriana is one heck of a sass, she KNOWS she's good at this XD And InsaneintheRain just...he's a goofball!
This cover is honestly pretty amazing, not only for the fact they are swapping but the fact they are also able to keep up with how the mii channel sounds just from swapping, it's amazing how they are able to do that

Adri's having so much fun. Like, the rest of them are great, but Adri just sells the whole thing with how happy and jumpy she is... Much like "Pollyanna"!
This is my go to song to test out new earbuds/headphones. So much range and distinct tones that I can easily identify and compare. Like I'm not great at doing that because of a lack of distinct practice. But this video helps without stressing out on the terms.

I think I've been on the weird side of UA-cam/the internet for too long; I keep half-expecting any _Mii Channel_ music that I come across to gradually 'corrupt' or warp in some way, eventually with it sounding terrifyingly unsettling
The most unsettling part was that it didn't become corrupted. The tension was palpable

I adore how you rotate on the playing the various instruments. this whole video is really lovely put together, and great fun to watch! I feel like the arrangement itself though, purely on a musical level, is a bit less exciting and creative than what I'm used to hearing from any of you. But, I'm guessing that might just come as a compromise of how the video is put together. In a lot of ways, it felt more like you were just playing the music more or less as it originally was composed, just on different instruments, than an original arrangement. It gets more varied towards the end, particularly with the final two segments, but something about the choice is genre and melodic transposition didn't really sit right with me. The longer pauses were actually a pretty welcome addition though, as I felt they helped give the arrangement a more unique character, especially when watching the video as well (I really must stress how incredibly charming the video is!)
If it weren't for the really nice video, I'd say this was kind of a weak one to be honest, but it's just so nice to see you all having so much fun with it! Thank you as always for all of your hard work. :)
