Awesome video Vicky. I love watching all your videos, especially your wip parades. I like a lot of the same designs that you like, and get so many ideas from you. Many designs I have not seen if not for you. I so appreciate that you mention all the fabrics , floss, extras, etc that you are using. I have purchased several designs after seeing how beautiful they are on your channel. I love Aida too. I like brands like Picture This Plus and hand dyed because the Aida is much softer. Your stitching is amazing! Looking forward all your videos! Happy stitching!
I have loved your Flosstube videos since finding them. I have very similar tastes in my cross stitch choices to your pieces. I too had been away from cross stitch for about 20 years as I had fallen in love with quilt making and returned within the last year. Love your WIP parade.
Hi Vicky! Happy One Year Flosstubiversary! Lots of beautiful projects! I'm enjoying your WIP Parade! Thanks for sharing! Now on to part 2 :). Have a great day!
Just found you! Wip parade drew me in and the colour and stitching on first thing you showed has kept me. Some awesome stitching! Wow! Your stitching is impeccable. And moonlight sampler on that fabric! Amazing! Off to part 2. Oh darn supper needs to be made. Lol
I so enjoyed your wip parade. Your wips are beautiful and it's a long video 😃. I also love how you pace your videos, no rushing. Looking to watch part 2 today. TX, Robin Pollard
Love your idea of putting projects together by season! I have now reorganized all my wips and starts by season. Don't worry I have more than you could ever think!!! You have inspired me!
Hi ! You have the right attitude with stitching. It’s for your pleasure and if it makes you happy then do it. I have a few wips myself, not as many as you do, but they make me happy!
Seems like you have been on flosstube a lot longer, congrats on your one year, you have done a lot of stitching 🪡🧵. Love how you show the count and color of the fabrics because I take notes, don’t have a LNS and order online. It helps to see the colors and what you are stitching on. Looking forward to the next containers of WIP’s. 🤗🪡🧵
Enjoyed your WHIP parade. I am like you in that I miss stitching seasonal pieces all through the month. that is when I decided to do: 4th - Patriotic, 13th - Halloween, 23rd - my birthday pieces, 25th - Christmas. I have enjoyed spreading them out. Can't wait to see your Part 2.
Love your WIP parade. It inspires me to start some of the projects I have kitted up waiting. We have such similar taste and I am so pleased to find a fellow Aida stitcher 😃
Wow, what a fabulous collection of projects, and thats only half...lol. I was stitching throughout the whole thing, I recognize many of them several of them I own myself and a few I've even started. I especially love patriotic stitching and currently have at least 4 or 5 going and at least 3x's that many on my sooner than later radar. I also love a variety of samplers and currently am in love with almost everything Cottage Garden Samplings designs including the songbird series (I am working on 2 and have a 3rd kitted up. I also plan to start the year in the woods series in 2023
Happy Floss tube-averssary! And your WIPS are gorgeous! You have a lot of them too! But like it’s been said, “if you don’t start them, they’ll never get finished” and that is so true! I’ve also just found you so I’m gonna binge watch all your other videos!
Congratulations on your floss tube anniversary! I am so enjoying watching your wip parade! You definitely have alot of stitching to do! Can't wait to see the remaining wipes. I have tons of small projects not too many big ones. Your work is beautiful and I love all the different Aida colors. I recently went back to Aida because my eyes aren't like they used to be. Love your bags you made. Such a pleasure watching your videos.
I love your WIP parade. Fantastic you always show me something I must stitch. One thing I am realizing quickly I only like big projects. I just did some some smaller this week and just was not satisfied. Pulled out my bigger projects. I just purchased my first HAED. Have not started it yet. Love your stitching!
I love your wip parades! I don’t have that many but I love that you do and that you have enthusiasm for each one. Keep it up please and start as many as you want. After all it’s our HOBBY, right? Lonnie from Texas
Someone might have already suggested this but on your Prairie Life Sampler by Heartstring Samplery I think it look so pretty if you stopped stitching. Tore out the naked border and finished it as it was. It looks beautiful to me and then you don’t have a bunch of stitching wasted and you will have a beautiful unique finish. I love it the way it is now as a finish. Just a thought! I love seeing all your WIPs You do you girl!
I forgot to add....about the Quaker seasons by Rosewood Manor. Thank you for your advice about being conservative with the Valdani thread. I have the Crstal Dwarf and Valdani threads ready to start the Winter Quaker. Also you mentioned you weren't 100% happy with the 3 strands on the fabric. Although it's definately not an option for me having bought the Valdani, but Evertote has a floss conversion for that piece using the Leo and Roxy Co floss. I was looking at it today as I had the project out before I even saw you video! The colours look really nice...online anyway. I wish I'd known before I purchased the Valdani! Oh well.....
My new mantra from you 'If you don't start it, you won't finish it.' Loved seeing all your WIPs. I currently have 15 and would like to start more, but I always talk myself out of it because I feel like a failure if I don't finish the ones I have. I'm learning to let myself do what makes me happy and so 'I' am a work in progress. So happy for you all that you were able to get away and enjoy the beauty of our world. Loves, hugs and blessings!!
So many beautiful and different projects! The one in memory of your father touched me as my own father passed from brain cancer to, 1.12.21… I bought a cross stitch kit when I sat by his bed that last day, but I haven’t been able to start it yet…
Thank you so much, Ane 😊. I am sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. My dad passed away in April 2006. I still miss him. When you are ready you may be able to stitch a piece in his honor. Happy stitching 🧵
Hi. I’m happy you got to go on vacation. I love when you show all your beautiful projects. I was missing you. You have a lot of wips and there all beautiful. I can’t wait to see part two.
Love your WIP parade videos', so much beautiful eye candy!!! I get so many ideas for using different colored fabrics I wouldn't have thought of. Thank you for showing all of them.
Pandemic is beautiful, I am working mine on 16 ct as well. That purple you used is gorgeous 😍 💜 I must say your Quakers by Rosewood Manor, I love them. Seeing them with the called for flosses I love them!! The summer fabric is beautiful.
Hi, Vicky, I'm watching this about 5mo after you first posted. I'm with you about stitching in season. I recently pulled out Teresa Kogut's Halloween March (an oldie). I've been working on it since 2018, and unless I work on it more than just each October, I'll never finish, so I think I'm going to start pulling it out in August (when I'm really starting to look forward to Autumn), and include it until the end of October or maybe November. BTW, I love your really long videos. I get a beverage and pull out cross stitch and it's nice to just be able to stitch without needing to go to a different video. So the longer, the better! Happy Stitching! x Lynn
Thank you so much, Lynn. That is an excellent idea to pull out your seasonal pieces a little earlier. I will, more than likely, be trying that out next year. Happy stitching 🧵
Thanks so very much for sharing your stitchy life with all of us. I always look forward to your new videos because I learned so much about color for both fabric and floss. I appreciate you sharing the fabric names and counts. It is so fun to see you change the called for fabric to something totally different and it always looks great! I’m a new stitcher and your videos help me look at stitching in a whole new way. Congrats on 1 yr! Thanks again...
Hi Vicky, congratulations on your first anniversary. Your work is so beautiful! Really enjoyed watching your floss tube and looking forward to part two!
I like your videos. I really like this philosophy: if you don't start it, you won't finish it, and why should anyone but you care how many WIPs you have? And I also like the fact that we stitch for pleasure and set our own deadlines. Happy stitching, Vicky!
I’ve just found your channel and love it. Your work is very inspiring and I found your comment on starting the projects you have kitted insightful. I love the conversion you’ve made to Hoity Toity and am hoping you will share it with me. I’ve crocheted a beautiful afghan called The Fruit Garden which is based on tapestries made by May Morris (the daughter of William Morris) and when I saw your version of Hoity Toity I thought it would look perfect above the afghan which I have draped over my stitching chair which belonged to my mother. I would have love to have included a photo of my blanket but can’t see a way to do this.
Vicki, you have so many beautiful WIPS. I really enjoy seeing them, and there are several I'll also be stitching, like Moonlight Garden and In a Perfect World. I love the fabric you chose for Moonlight Garden (3rd time's a charm lol), it looks wonderful.
Congratulations Vicky on your 1 year anniversary!! You have some beautiful WIPs. I’m pretty much a monogamous stitcher, but watching your WIP parade, I may start a few more. I have so many patterns I want to stitch. You are right they bring enjoyment so why not stitch them when I want instead of waiting for a finish.
Happy Anniversary! Your WIP Parade was awesome...can't wait to see part 2. I particularly liked your interpretation of Pandemic with the variegated purple floss. About 40 years ago I used a filet crochet pattern of a cat with a border and stitched it in the same floss. Love how the movement of color makes your eyes travel through the piece. Your fabric choices are also great. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me!
I am so enjoying your wip parade! I'm an aida stitcher and love seeing all your projects and fabrics. I'm totally in love with the Prairie Life sampler pattern and I'm going to order it and try to figure out how to deal with the over 1. I can backstitch the words but I don't know what to do about the faces.
As always I enjoy your wips. I’m sure enjoying all the beautiful samplers. You sure have a lot of energy. Congrats on your first year. Just waiting for part 2. Have an awesome week.
Your starts are all great beginnings. You could easily pick up any of those and just move right along. Looking forward to the second half. Happy stitching.
Congratulations on your first year anniversary. Wow and this was only part one. I am looking forward to part 2. All your projects are gorgeous. I love watching your videos. Glad you could get away. Take care!!!
Enjoyed this so much. You and I have very similar tastes in what we like to stitch . Love all of your projects and you are a great motivator. Thanks for sharing
Hi there. Wow you have so many beautiful cross stitch. Maybe you should try a two day rotation so that all of them get some love. Many blessings. Keep up the great job you do. Love everything.
Congratulations on your one year anniversary! Your satin stitches are beautiful on Sarah Braizear! All of your WIP's are beautiful! I'm looking forward to watching Part 2!
Wow Vicky. We have such in common. The colors on the first thanksgiving is wonderful. Would you consider sharing your conversion? Love the WIP parade. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Thank you so much 😊. My conversion, unfortunately, contains some Victorian Motto but here it is…. Instead of sweet potato I am using Pilgrim Squash by VM, for deep sea I am using twilight time by VM, for wisteria I am using flatfish by WDW, for the water and Indian lady shirt I am using waves of blue by VM, for the trees I am using woodsy acorn by VM, for the dirt (ground) I am using granny boots by VM, for the one lighter roof I am using Joshua tree by CCW, for the other two roofs I am using gingerbread by CCW. Happy stitching 🧵
Oh a heartfelt congratulations on your first flossaversary 💖 I love everything you stitch on! Your stitching is so pretty! Thanks for this wip parade it’s so fun to see everything and I’m almost to the point that I could video one myself🙃☺️ I’m so happy you were able to travel abroad! That is amazing! Blessings always 💖🌸💖
I would totally frog the satin stitch in the border of the first(?) piece you showed and replace it with cros stitches. I would satin stitch the flowers. Just a thought.
What a great parade!! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your projects while I was doing some tedious work. I think I enjoyed seeing your project bags just as much.. I'm going to check out Elizabeth's tutorial. Heaven knows I have lots of fabric I could use!! :) Happy flosstube anniversary, too!
Congratulations on your 1st year , love love love your wip parade, you're making some good progress on some. Cant wait for part 2. Your Autumn is queen is beautiful
All of your projects are beautiful. I've enjoyed your videos very much. This one made me want to just start all my projects that are kitted up. Beautiful ☺️😅😁
Just love your videos, they are great company for an at home stitcher. I can only work on a rotation of three projects at a time. But get so inspired by your choices
Thank you thank you for the WIP parade. I loved it. I appreciate that you don’t rush through your wips you hold your charts and stitching long enough that I get to really take a look at each project. Once a gf ain thank you
Vicky…..Vicki?…..I just watched your first 4 videos after Vonna recommended watching you. I enjoyed them so very much and I subscribed. I’m going to watch this latest video next time I sit down to stitch and see many of the things you are currently working on. Vonna was right! Carol in Texas
Would love to start some more new projects, not limit myself. Just enjoy Stitching them towards the finish line. 🤗 You are so Inspiring 💖 Thanks for Sharing 🌻❤!!! Happy Stitching 💖!!!!
Love seeing you will parade, and looking forward to part 2. Could I ask how many strands you use for the different count on materials. Your stitches always so neat with great coverage. Thanks. I'm ready for part 2 and can't wait. X
I have Belatrix and some of the Kreinik for her in my stash. I wasn’t ever sure what color to stitch her on. What company is that Storm from? I want something darkish for her but too dark and my old eyes can’t see to stitch on it. Smart of you to write down your conversions. I did stargazer by Mirabilia several years ago. I used Delica beads in place of the Mill Hill but didn’t write down what I used. She is half beaded and when I went back recently to finish her up, I couldn’t figure out what I used.
What are the zippered bags you are putting your projects into in the cloth bags when you have multiple projects in a bag.. I’m using x zip lock but those are a bit big and I have to found the tops down :). I like you thought on starting a lot of projects…I have a lot kitted but tend to start only two or three at a time..
Hi Vicky congratulations on your one year FT👍love watching your videos, your WIPS are all great, love them all, have a good week Thankyou for sharing 👍🇳🇿🪡
Hello, lovely to see you again, you are so prolific! Question: where did you get the Nottingham pattern from please? I would like to make one for my sister who lives in Nottingham.
I absolutely love your WIP parade and can’t wait to see your part 2. Your stitching is beautiful! When you stitch on lugana do you stitch over 1 or over 2?
Awesome WIP parade! Your stitches look so perfect!! Do you always use a Q-Snap or frame when you stitch? (I'm an in-hand stitcher and even though my tension is pretty consistent, I still see variances in the stitches when I'm done.)
I love seeing all your WIPs! Quick question - I like your Qsnaps - what size are they???? 11x 14 or 11x17 or both? I am getting ready to start my firs Mirabilla and need advice on which Qsnap size to use!
@@thevirginiastitcherI thought there might be confusion, but I wasn't sure how to word my question. I knew it was on 28 count, but wasn't sure of the fabric measurements (maybe I should have used that instead of fabric size)? I'm thinking about 31w x 25h on 25 count with a 3" border. I was just too lazy to look it up on the cross stitch calculator. Sorry. I think I could stitch it on 28 count, but 25 might work better. It is a very big pattern, but I want to do it.
Question: on the 28 count Lugana, do you stitch 2 over 2? On the 16 count Aida, you said you stitch 2 over 1, correct? I believe you showed some 32 count Lugana….is that 1 over 1?
I like that a lot of your projects are done on different color aida. I like aida.
Awesome video Vicky. I love watching all your videos, especially your wip parades. I like a lot of the same designs that you like, and get so many ideas from you. Many designs I have not seen if not for you. I so appreciate that you mention all the fabrics , floss, extras, etc that you are using. Thank you so much, Ann 😊
Your self made bags are lovely...not only are you a fabulous stitcher you are very good sewist too!
OMG I am so glad I found your flosstube. And I love your philosophy on WIPS. I have to watch this with a notepad for adding to my shopping list. 😁
I have loved your Flosstube videos since finding them. I have very similar tastes in my cross stitch choices to your pieces. I too had been away from cross stitch for about 20 years as I had fallen in love with quilt making and returned within the last year. Love your WIP parade.

Thank you so much, Martha 😊. Your rotation sounds. Perfect.

Happy Anniversary! Your WIP Parade was awesome...can't wait to see part 2. I particularly liked your interpretation of Pandemic with the variegated purple floss. Hello Vicki, thank you for sharing...love your taste in patterns and fabric. You are so talented, thank you for the inspiring ideas.
Thank you so much, Dolly 😊
Your stitching is beautiful, I wish my stitches look so neat
Beautiful work. The colors you use are so lively and vibrant. I love your work.
Thank you so much, Cynthia 😊
I am so enjoying your wip parade! I'm an aida stitcher and love seeing all your projects and fabrics. I'm totally in love with the Prairie Life sampler pattern and I'm going to order it and try to figure out how to deal with the over 1. As always I enjoy your wips. I’m sure enjoying all the beautiful samplers. You sure have a lot of energy. Congrats on your first year. Just waiting for part 2. Have an awesome week.

Hi there. Wow you have so many beautiful cross stitch. Maybe you should try a two day rotation so that all of them get some love. Many blessings. Keep up the great job you do. Love everything.
Thank you so much, Gladys. I have been thinking about a two day rotation. Great suggestion.
Love the summer delivery hopefully I get to see it again
Congratulations on your one year anniversary! Your satin stitches are beautiful on Sarah Braizear! All of your WIP's are beautiful! I'm looking forward to watching Part 2!

Thank you so much, Robin. Yes, please start a Flosstube and when you do let me know so I can watch and subscribe 😊
I would totally frog the satin stitch in the border of the first(?) piece you showed and replace it with cros stitches. I would satin stitch the flowers. Just a thought.
Hi Vicky, congratulations on your 1st year anniversary. Love watching your videos. Great WIP’s.
Thank you so much, Linda😊
What a great parade!! I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your projects while I was doing some tedious work. I think I enjoyed seeing your project bags just as much.. I'm going to check out Elizabeth's tutorial. Heaven knows I have lots of fabric I could use!! :) Happy flosstube anniversary, too!
Thank you so much 😊. I am not the best at my sewing machine. Elizabeth Ann is a good teacher.

Thank you so much, Renee 😊
Just love your videos, they are great company for an at home stitcher. I can only work on a rotation of three projects at a time. But get so inspired by your choices
Thank you so much, Anne 😊
I just started Night Walked Down the other day. I have the same amount done as you do!! I love moonlight sampler. Trying to resist buying it!
Thank you thank you for the WIP parade. I loved it. I appreciate that you don’t rush through your wips you hold your charts and stitching long enough that I get to really take a look at each project. Once a gf ain thank you
Thank you so much, Joyce😊
Vicky…..Vicki?…..I just watched your first 4 videos after Vonna recommended watching you. I enjoyed them so very much and I subscribed. I’m going to watch this latest video next time I sit down to stitch and see many of the things you are currently working on. Vonna was right! Carol in Texas
Thank you so much, Carol😊. That was so sweet of Vonna to give me a shout out. Welcome to my channel. Happy stitching 🧵
Would love to start some more new projects, not limit myself. Just enjoy Stitching them towards the finish line. 🤗 You are so Inspiring 💖 Thanks for Sharing 🌻❤!!! Happy Stitching 💖!!!!
Thank you so much, Karen 😊
I’m starting the Headless Horseman too!
Love seeing you will parade, and looking forward to part 2. Could I ask how many strands you use for the different count on materials. Your stitches always so neat with great coverage. Thanks. I'm ready for part 2 and can't wait. X
Thank you so much, Linda. I usually use two strands. I like the coverage it gives me.
My piece of Storm is by Picture This Plus. Happy stitching 🧵
They are zippered mesh pouches I ordered on Amazon. Happy stitching 🧵
One Nation under God is beautiful!
Hi Vicky congratulations on your one year FT👍love watching your videos, your WIPS are all great, love them all, have a good week Thankyou for sharing 👍🇳🇿🪡
Thank you so much, Donna 😊
Hello, lovely to see you again, you are so prolific! Question: where did you get the Nottingham pattern from please? I would like to make one for my sister who lives in Nottingham.
Thank you so much, Julia. I ordered it from 123stitch.com
So many lovly projects 😍😍🌹🌞
Thank you so much 😊
Your and my taste is so similar, I have 8 pages of notes on your projects and the type of cloth you used. LOL
Your WIP parades make me so happy 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much, Donna😊
So happy to see u posted a wip parade, yr patterns are similar to mine
I absolutely love your WIP parade and can’t wait to see your part 2. Your stitching is beautiful! When you stitch on lugana do you stitch over 1 or over 2?
Thank you so much, Lori. On the Lugana I stitch over two unless there are areas that specify one-over-one stitching
Awesome WIP parade! Your stitches look so perfect!! Do you always use a Q-Snap or frame when you stitch? (I'm an in-hand stitcher and even though my tension is pretty consistent, I still see variances in the stitches when I'm done.)
Thank you so much, Georgey 😊. I do, almost always use a qsnap or frame when I’m stitching.
On your Twin Peaks Primitive The First Thanksgiving what is the white you used in the star motifs? It really stands out.
Thank you so much, Jane. I am using the called for Whitewash by Weeks Dye Works.
I love seeing all your WIPs! Quick question - I like your Qsnaps - what size are they???? 11x 14 or 11x17 or both? I am getting ready to start my firs Mirabilla and need advice on which Qsnap size to use!
Thank you so much, Beth. I usually use either an 11x11 or 11x17.
@@thevirginiastitcher Thank You!
Tech difficulties. Sounds Great!!💖
I’m really interested in the Ocean City retreat. Who do I call to get on a waitlist?
I’m sorry, the retreat I attend is a closed group. Salty Yarns hosts retreats in Ocean City. You could check their retreats out.
Love your WIPS Beautiful, thanks 🤗🧵🪡
Wow, beautiful charts!
You just reminded me I bought "Let Freedom Ring". I need to get going on that. What size fabric are you using for it?
I am stitching it on 28 count Lugana in the color Laurel Green.
What fabric company is the Summer Quaker stitched on. You said the color, something like Deanasel but not the company. Thank you
It is Demoiselle by Picture This Plus
Never mind, you just answered my question....thanks!
Question: on the 28 count Lugana, do you stitch 2 over 2? On the 16 count Aida, you said you stitch 2 over 1, correct? I believe you showed some 32 count Lugana….is that 1 over 1?
I stitch 2 over 2 on both 28 and 32 count. I stitch 2 over 1 on 16 count. I love the coverage.
@@thevirginiastitcher thank you!
Question....why do you start so many and have so many wips? Not a criticism!! Just wondering.
Agree, the fabric is too busy for that beautiful piece.
Thank you, Jane😊
great video! thank you
Hi 👋 beautiful 🤩 wips
What was the name of the chart that's the American flag with the states on there also.
