Omgosh I'm soooooo excited! I LOVE long videos and especially when they are WIP parades! The fact that this is just a part one and it's over 2 hours long. I am giddy for sure!!!! You just made my day❤
Love a WIP parade. Was watching in wee hours of morning. HAD to pause at 2 hours, but finished up at 8 am next day. Love your stitching. I see what you mean about the fabric, sometimes it is HARD to find the right fabric that you like to go w/project. I, too, will "put aside" a project mainly b/c there is a froggin' to do, something isn't right (made a counting error, etc) or really not sure if I want to continue. When I do go thru the last pile (maybe won't finish), & I say to myself: "I love this, I want to stitch this", it gets moved to a current stack of projects to do. The froggin' always comes last & so I try to "fudge" it, which works most of the time anyway. So happy we have our stitching. Thanks for the parade.
Love your WIP parades!!! Perfect that it was nice and long! It's nice to settle down with my stitching, tea, and maybe a kitty, for a long visit! Your projects are so inspirational! I always find some new projects to add to my with list! Have a lovely time traveling! Happy Stitching! Lynn
Such a wonderful video loved all of your stitching and patterns. Your bags are gorgeous that you make yourself, and your other ones are too have fun on your Stitchie retreat and on your trip
I will be watching both videos tonight back to back! Its never boring to me. I absolutely love seeing your stitching and listening to you. Dont worry about hanging threads. I do mostly full coverage and I park so mine have threads on every wip. No judgement from me. I have more than 20 wips I think and all but 2 are full coverage. We have the same motto...."Im not hurting nobody!" Have a safe and wonderful road trip!!
This video was so awesome! Loved, loved, loved it! You have a lot of fantastic projects. Loved hearing what fabric and floss was used. Looking forward to the rest! Thanks so much for sharing!
I really enjoyed this part of your WIP parade. I had to get out my notebook and start a list for future projects I want to do.:) Thanks so much for sharing your lovely stitching.
Thank you for sharing all your lovely projects with us , I am looking forward to Part 2 . I wish i could collect as many varied and beautiful WIPs to choose from to stitch as you do . Hope you have an enjoyable road trip ,Take care x
Epic WIP parade!! I really liked that you showed all the different fabrics, with color names and dyer’s. My local LNS doesn’t have a good assortment of fabric. I appreciated being able to see the colors and what the stitching looked like upon them! I think I will be able to order some beautiful fabric based on what I saw. Enjoy your trip out west! Thank you 😍🤩
So many beautiful WIPs! I think the last 2 were my favorite. A few I've added to my wish list. 😅 Looking forward to seeing your other WIPs! Enjoy your trip!
Hello there! This is the first video of yours I am seeing, thanks to UA-cam!! They had it as a suggestion so I clicked on it!! The piece I cannot spell the name of, it sounds like it's in a foreign language, you are doubting the "brighter yellow" in the upper left corner...My suggestion is - TRUST the designer and her color choice!! KEEP the yellow, as you say, for now!!! I am LOVING the yellow!!! Yes, I AM!!!! I know exactly how you feel about not really liking it OR doubting the color choice! I have a piece I am working on right now where I am doubting MANY of the colors! However, the more I stitch, the more I am seeing exactly 'how' some of the colors are fitting in and I am seeing WJY she chose what she did! I have a feeling the closer you get to finishing it, the MORE you are going to LIKE the yellow color! That piece has extremely vibrant, beautiful colors in it!! I do believe in the long run, you are going to LOVE it!!! If not, when it's finished, 'then' tear it out and replace it with whatever other color you think goes there!!! Again, I think you will like it!! You have many gorgeous pieces you are stitching!!!! Enjoy!!!!
You've got so many beautiful WIPS. Stitching is supposed to be fun and we each do in a way that's right for us, and you can have as many WIPs as you want. You hold up your projects just the perfect amount of time. Looking forward to part 2. Take care, and thanks for sharing all your pretties, Arleen
I laughed when you reached out to see which side the camera is on. I do that too sometimes. You'd think after all this time, we'd remember. I love that you aren't afraid of having lots of projects or lots of big projects.
I love long floss tube parades. I am new to cross stitch and have completed two projects. I can see how easy it is to keep starting projects.. because I see something and before I realize it it's kitted. I normally do hand embroidery and wool applique plus quilting, which I don't recall the amount I have started and not finished. I want to remain a monogamous stitcher with cross stitch in order to help keep my sanity and marriage..lol. But seriously you have tons of amazing projects and such beautiful Stitching. I just want to bring my project over and stitch with you... can't wait to see part 2. Have a great day! Enjoy your planned trips sounds like so much fun.😊
Love Absolutely Everything You Are Working On❣️ I’m an old monogamous Stitcher - my poor little brain can’t handle too much at a time….I’ve watched you faithfully since your first video and adore you and I think you are Fearless❣️ Life is short - do what makes you Happy❤……Have lots of fun at your Retreat and with your Mother this summer…..God Bless! ❤️❤️❤️
Pam sent me 😂 wow you have too many! I liked the ones with the light pink and peach backgrounds . The colours really popped on those of what I could remember. The one at 2hours in and 2min is so close to finishing. Remember finished is better than perfect. Just finish. The one also at 2 hours and 4 min. 😮 ah I can't remember 😂whip overload and Pam did say say there was a part 2 🤤 The pieces you have chosen to stitch are extremely gorgeous .
Thank you for taking the time to show your variety of WIPs in your part 1 WIP parade. All of your pieces are so pretty whether they’re barely started or almost finished. I commend you for being able to remember all of your WIPs and for sharing them. I can’t wait to see your part 2 WIP parade. Happy stitching. 😊
I love love love your videos. I love seeing all that you stitch and all the variety of patterns that bring you joy. I just want to say thank you. You stitch a lot of what I stitch, and when I see your progress, it encourages me to pick up a WIP that needs some lovin and put a few stitches in. Again, lots of love, be safe, be well and stitch all that you love!
So much to see and am just in awe of the colors of fabrics you choose. I stitch on Aida and have taken so many notes. I agree, Hobby Lobby has very limited choices in Aida these days in my opinion, it also may be the size of the store. I am starting a wish list of fabrics to try now as I have some of the patterns you have shown. The Teresa Kogut Halloween book has enough to keep me going for a long time. Beautifully illustrated. Thank you for sharing and looking forward to part II.
Lordy no, not boring at all. I loved loved loved this. You have great WIP parades because you actually have so much done on each piece. And my goodness your stitching is just beautiful. I admire it greatly. Yes I did get stitching done whilst watching this. I so look forward to the 2nd part but please don't tire yourself out. If you can't get it done now we'll be patient. Take good care.
Absolutely love your projects!! Glad to see how beautiful they look on aida and evenweave. I have a hard time stitching on linen and it's so nice to see the fabrics you use look so beautiful!! Look forward to part 2!
I am loving your wip parade 💚 I have had the same issue re how many strands. I try to leave some thread hanging as I use many different counts. Although, on some wips, I backstitched the count on the border because I kept forgetting. Looking forward to watching part 2 of your wonderful wip parade!
Great video a lot of fun stitches. I don’t ever judge what people do we all need to love what we do.and do what we 💗 I have Olga’s stocking in my start soon pile I just need the fabric I think I will do it on 32 ct. the called for I looked up looked dark online Not like the picture so I’m trying to figure it all out. I think I will ask at my stitchy night ladies to help me. I’m Very excited to start as I have all the called for floss ready. My first stocking also .Take care and Enjoy 💚
Holy Moly Vicki! I love seeing all your WIPS! It’s very inspiring because you pretty much stitch the things I want to stitch and at least you have them started! I’ll be on the look out for part 2. And have fun at your retreat and safe travels to you and your mom!
I'm amazed that I love everything you have. I had to stop and order 2 of the charts immediately. I'm retired and on small income, but cross stitch is my one indulgence.
I loved seeing all the different fabrics, thank you for sharing the names you could. I stitched a good amount of a new start while watching, but it would be nice to see the projects for a little more time because I found myself rewinding!
I love long WIP parades. You are hurting nobody! What an awesome array of projects you have. Very inspiring/enabling. I need to go thru my WIP’s and see what I have!
I’m gonna have to start watching these on my laptop because I keep having to pause and go to my browser to save all these patterns and shops 🤦🏼♀️ (love your channel btw!) 41:25
Heidi/@stitchingfae mentioned you on her flosstube and I had to check out a fellow Virginian! I enjoyed this so much! No such thing as a too long Flosstube or too many WIPs! That’s what makes it so fun to watch. I’m off to part 2!😊
This was great! I was so excited to see a super loooong WIP parade from one of my fave flosstubers! You kept me company when I folded the laundry, when I put the dishes away and made chili, and of course finally when I got to sit down and stitch lol. I think you held everything up for the perfect amount of time ♥️
Awesome. I hope part two is just as long. I love to sit and stitch and lap up the wonder of your WIPs. We seem to have similar tastes, but I have a starting problem, so I don't start nearly enough. Therefore. I live vicariously through your starts xx
Not boring at all! We seem to have similar taste, I love everything you stitch on 😍 I have three WIPs at the moment and three projects kitted and I´m getting nervous, so I´m living vicarously through your wonderful projects 😄
I love a wip parade. Yes you held them up the perfect time. You should have divided them up by the amount of completion then you could do the most done and have a ( or a Couple ) of finishes. Dropping your wip count. Tho the more the merrier if you ask me. I am off to watch part 2.
22:00 I remember seeing these kits for kids/pre-teens for making your own badges. Maybe you have to make one of those, a big one, write "1 strand only!" and then turn it into a needle minder and put it on that Longdog, right in the stitching spot? Making it harder to miss. X) The colour is amazing. Good choice.
Yay - a WIP parade mini movie series. 🙂❤ Your stitching is so much prettier than what the pattern shows. You can buy key ring tags where you can write the project name on there then attach it to your zipper pull so you know what project is in the bag without having to unzip it. Looking forward to your next WIP movie. 😊
Loved this. Thank you for taking time out of your day to do this for us. I especially liked your Pandemic combo of silk & fabric. Would you pls share what size fabric you are using for this project - fat half? full yard? Thank you!
Hi Vicky, I loved watching your WIP video. I'm working on The Lady of the Flag now and can you tell me what type of scroll frame you like? Your last video you showed how you work with the beads on the scroll frame and that was very helpful to me. I'm looking forward to your next video. Enjoy your trip with your Mother.
I use the Arabeska scroll frames. I purchased them off of Amazon. I just learned the maker died in the war with Ukraine 😢. Check Amazon to see if they are still available.
When I seen you had new floss tube up and it was a WIP parade I couldn’t start it fast enough. I absolutely love your wips and your regular floss tubes. Thank you for holding your charts up long enough to actually see them. It makes watching your channel enjoyable keep them coming 😊
Hi Vicki, I enjoyed this WIP parade so much. I seem to like many of the same things you do so loved seeing all your progress. I can’t wait for the next installment. :) May I ask what pattern you use for your project bags? I really love them and would like to try to make a few myself. Hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming trip with you mom. Stay safe. I’m taking a road trip with my mom also in about 2 weeks. Hugs and blessings.
Here is the link to the project bag tutorial I used… ua-cam.com/video/qzcbp9JByXU/v-deo.html. I hope the link works. It is from Elizabeth Ann Can Stitch on Flosstube.
I just found you on UA-cam. So many beautiful projects. Your Stitching on such large fabrics. Do you stitch in hand or on a ring? How do you handle all that fabric??
So sorry that you mistakenly started a one-strand piece with 2 strands repeatedly! When you put the project down, perhaps leave the needle with one strand in it so you will be reminded when you pick it up again.
Hello Virginia your're the best..😍. I would like you to give me the best address to buy aïda Fabric and lugana of all colors . Merci beaucoup Bonjour de Montréal 😘
Everthing was absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful! Perfect stitching. A bit overwhelming, but what a way to go!!!!!! Thank you so much!
I love the variety of projects and fabrics you have. I enjoyed stitching while you were talking about it all. Thanks for sharing!

A hint to help yourself remember to stitch with one thread is to pin your note to the top of your fabric with a sewing pin.
Hands down best wip parades on flosstube, sooo informative and enabling, thank you ❤❤
Wow, thank you!
Absolutely beautiful
Thank YOU! What a delightful morning of eye candy. Took lots of notes. On to Part 2🎉...
Vicky, Vicky, Vicky ... for your Pandemic project, PIN your note to your fabric! Love you!!

I believe the chart you are talking about is “The Gather Inn” by Plum Street Samplers.
