Thank you for this! Only video I could find that actually showed a graphics card mounting into a 2U case
Rack choice makes some interesting cases. Thanks for reviewing them theres not much vids about them
I have been very impressed with their chassis!
Lovely product review - many thanks!
Sweet !! Good video man !!
Thank You!
Rack choice is seriously so interesting, and a great value. Most other 2us are 200+, and dont offer nearly the features. I wanted to put a bunch of GPUs to clusterize, (like 3 lp cards and one 2 slot " real" gpu) seems like the perfect case. Rackchoice also has very reasonable hot swap bays and backplanes to go with it.
Lol imma just cut the hdd bays
they are for sure, and quality is on par with the bigger brands like silverstone and rosewill
I have two of these! Love them!
Considering this one for a NAS, but I may also move my gaming rig into one as well. That 2080S is 267 mm, my 3060ti is 275mm... Not sure my 5900X will be able to breathe in it though. What hardware do yours have?
@@anonymousinc6330 I am using a Ryzen 2200g with a low profile noctua cooler, and two 40mm fans up front. I think your 5900x might need an ID cooling low profile cooler and you have a chance.
Just bought on of these. The horizontal tension piece is a nightmare. Headed to the hardware store for some 932 dremel bits, or maybe just drill holes in it.
it does suck
Great video. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
Can molex fans that comes with the case replaced by Noctua PWM fans?
The included fan hub is powered by molex, the fans are 3 wire standard fans, so yes you can either replace them with Noctua 3 wire fans or use a different fan hub/splitters and use 4 wire pwm Noctua
@@CreatorHardware Thank you.
Could you not just mount the hard drives upside down so that the ports are more easily accessible?
unfortunately the mounting holes will not line up
@@CreatorHardware I didn't think about that, thank you for responding.
Um, the regular atx PSU cannot be installed upside down in this case. You can use a pico or *sfx PSU with the side slot and an *extra fan.
Support ATX PSU with Either top or Side Cooling literally in the main description on amazon, and yes you can mount an atx power supply upside down, hence why they include the second power cord with the case
Informative presentation! Was curious if the chassis will fit in a 24" server rack?
yes it will
Appreciate the honest review. I'm considering one of these for a NAS / web / Plex / recording rig. Might actually move my gaming rig into one. Tuf B550-Plus / 3600X / 32GB DDR4-3200 / GTX1650 / Corsair CX650F planned for the NAS. I would use my 1700 but the B450 it's on doesn't have the slots I need, and the B550 doesn't support the 1700. I'm curious, do you have any cooler recommendations for a 3600X in this case? It's well known they heat up with stock coolers.
ThermalRight axp120-x67
amzn.to/3SYWSF6
or Noctua NH-L9x65 SE-AM4
amzn.to/3UYaBhZ
both coolers are running in my rack now.
I do have a video coming up testing low profile coolers as well
@@CreatorHardwareThanks. Went with the TR for now. Was thinking about the IS-60 but I wasn't sure about clearances. One other question, are the case fans 80mm or 92mm? They look like 80s.
@@anonymousinc6330 80mm
Does the manual say anything about ordering a 2nd horizontal adapter for the IO? I was thinking it looks like 2 could be installed to use 2 large GPUs and ribbon cables instead of riser boards.
lol, there is no manual, I have reviewed several rack choice chassis and none have come with any documentation at all
How good is the heat management with RackChoice?
lots of airflow, the stock fan hub runs them at full speed, even adding 2 5.25 devices the other side is open and will still have plenty of airflow
