For a character that wasn’t in the original this made quite me tear quite a bit because sonon was a really likeable sidekick to have and his relationship with yuffie is so fun😢
Yes and no. Stories aren't just for emotional payoffs. If so, then all stories would be jumbled messes just going for the gut punch feelings, but it does feel nice to cry, laugh and feel it deep in the heart while experiencing good stories.
Yeah, this was really sad. I teared up too. The saddest part is that Sonon isn't with his sister. Nero didn't allow him that relief and took him with him. It was all just an illusion. :( And Nero was terrifying.

I'm interested in how the developers will show us, if Zack meets with the main team, that Aerith loved the Cloud much more than him . Many people dont know the canon, dont read official books . They don't know that Aerith has fallen in love with Cloud much more . They don't know that even after her death in LIfestream, she confessed this to Zack , that now she really loves Cloud , and not him. For some Crisis core fans, this may be a blow , they don't know it . And they may start to hate Aerith, although this fact was known for a very long time that Cloud became for Aerith a person with whom she wanted to be forever . She said that too . Many people dont know this , and it is necessary to show it correctly so that all players understand this if Zack really participates in the main events of the game

for a character we didn't get to spend much time with i really loved Sonon, they are writing the characters in the remake so good.
