The battle of all battles of cancer is so hard.. no offense but the older you are the harder it is.. I am 36 fighting the fight in November of last year I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.. a rare blood cancer and on top of that I have AL Amyloidosis another rare but this one is a terminal diseases told I would be lucky to live another 5 years.. Any because of the Amyloidosis I have Heart failure the struggle is litterly everyday.. I am on my 5th round of chemo I go every Wednesday at 11 for about 3 hrs to get poison put into my body but I had no choice the amyloidosis had a 6-8 month expectancy if it was untreated.. I am very lucky for the drs I have and nurses to have caught it so early.. I am so close to being in remission it’s not even funny another 2-3 months of chemo and I should be there which then I will have to take a drug called revlimid daily to help my body and also going in for a chemo drug called faspro 1-2 times a month for the rest of my life I am willing to do what ever I have to.. I also go in august for a stem cell harvest and then eventually within a couple months go for a stem cell transplant which I was told if all goes well it could possibly add another 10-20 years to my life I know people who have had that and lived another 20+ years.. so we are hoping all goes well I have a 10 yr old almost 11 and I just want to see him turn 21 that’s all I ask for.. but only god know the plan so we shall see
The story of Tim and Toby dropping their first albums the same day and both really “growing up” in their careers together makes this dedication from him even more special and heartbreaking. Thank you to one legend for honoring another!
Tim , Tug and my dad were in the Tampa hospital at the same time back in the 2002 2003 i cant quite remember, theyre both gone now. But i cant hear this song without thinking about both of our dads. Thank you Tim.
Toby's last show and his singing "don't let the old man in" hits hard for me. I am 65. My Mom passed at 61. My dad passed a year later at 64. My younger sister passed at 61. My oldest brother passed at 66. I have a younger sister and older brother with me yet. When my Dad was dying from leukemia, he bought and rode his horse with me, even though he was in a lot of pain. He tried to the end to not let the old man in.
You are ##1 man.Thank you for honoring Toby Keith he was a great singer & songwriter & a Great husband and father I'm sure.Toby will be missed but never. Forgotten.RIP Toby..
😢 am so happy that someone said something for Toby Keith my DAD pass away from it so when I look into Toby Keith eyes I see my DAD !😢🌲🌲🌴🌵🌵⌛️🇺🇸🕯⛰️🏔🏞🏂🏻🦅🪽👍🏻🏂🏻🧗🧗🏻🇺🇸🦅🪽🏞
I'm 52. In transitions care. 2 months ago they went in and took half my liver, my gallbladder, 25% of my intestines, 30% of my Colon, and lymph nodes. He said I had a 90% of survival, but there was complications. They told my Mom and sister it was touch and go now and it was up to my body. 5 more surgeries over the next 3 weeks. I'm just starting to walk again. They say I'm out of danger now but still have tube's and drains. The most painful, horrific 2 months of my life. They got allnthe detectable cancer, but it can always come back. I'll never take a day for granted again. All that matters is love.
Thank you for sharing and inspiring me to keep going. Way different circumstances but fighting nonetheless. God bless. Walk in Faith and I will send up prayers for you in faith.
Lost my husband and our kids lost their dad , the children were 8 and 11 when he passed from cancer. I'm still so angry. 30 Years with this man.... yes we had kids late in our relationship and I'm so thankful we had them.
Cancer took my big brother within two months of getting a diagnosis. We didn’t have much time to process. Time doesn’t forgive, don’t waste it, make that call, email, plan that lunch date, make time before it’s too late.
This song means so much to me. My brother died at 44. This song wraps up his life completely. I cry every time I hear it. Now there is one more in heaven to sing this song for. Two to many.
I was give. Just 2 years to live after a terminal brain cancer diagnosis and thus September 27th will be 20 years!! This song is powerful!! I’m potentially the 4th longest living survivor of this disease and my goal is to be the longest! I’m the only person on the planet ym hit 5 times. There is hope!
He’s right. We never know how much time we have left. My Mom was the healthiest person I knew. Died at 52 with a heart condition she didn’t even know she had until it was too late. My Dad died at 58 of a heart attack. Live your life to the fullest guys. Great tribute. Toby was a great artist & lover of this Country! RIP Toby.
I still love all your songs and who you are as a person. Times are tough and rough the whole thing is to care for the people who you truly love! I still do❤
I wish more folks would be present in the moment instead of worrying about recording it with thier phones when it will already be recorded professionally. Just my opinion. Rest easy Toby
I saw Toby in ‘93 at In Cahoots in San Diego. I’ll never forget meeting him for a brief moment after his performance. He was wearing his signature Cowboys jersey.
My father is currently battaling stage 4 pancreatic cancer… he doesnt have long but this song truly helps him do everyday…. Update: dad passed away peacefully yesterday the 26/04/2024 surrounded by family, he went out on his own terms with voluntary assisted dying so in the end he beat it… Fuck Cancer!
Good song. But I think it would have been better if Tim shown pictures of Toby through the year like he did for his dad when he originally did this song.
thats the diferrent between pop and country artist in my opinion. if a pop artist dies they will remember him or her but thats it, in country they sing songs from him or ehr and i dont know if anyone noticed it but in the start he choked like manny other artist that did a song of him that shows real emotion and family and friends feelings in the country scene
Why are you bringing politics into a beautiful farewell to a wonderful singer/songwriter? You are a huge part of the problem in this country…causing division and conflict when it is unnecessary.
This whole perfomance shows that none of that shit matters. Were all human beings and if we cant see that and realise politics and religion are all bullshit meant to blind and cause hate between us. Were all the same man. Love one another
This . living like your dying. And Toby did. Lived his life though battle with cancer. I am battle cancer myself . I also lost my friend April 2020, and week later Rob n 5 month Sept 2020 lost my mom. All in months of each other. I diagnosed lung cancer copd I have only 1 lung. This makes me want stay living never know when time on 🌎 is gone
@rickheath5507 Just goes to show that we can love one another even though we have different views! Just like Toby and Tim did! RIP Toby your Sound will be heard for eternity.
My brother 61 is losing his battle right now with evil cancer...I would do anything to take him to see the Ocean one last time😭💔🌊🕊
I’m so sorry…
I lost my father yesterday to pancreatic cancer… chin up friend you are not alone!

One Legend to amother legend...CLASS!!
God bless Toby Keith and his Family.🇺🇸🎇🙏🎉🌹❤ thank you Tim McGraw great song
Though Tim differs so much in values than Toby, Toby earned this tribute. I'm thankful for artists like Toby.
In what ways do they differ? I had no idea.
Be descriptive and specific, please.
How so?

Beautiful ❤️❤️☘️🥰
Rip toby kieth ❤❤❤❤😢😢❤❤❤❤❤
Wow!
Toby lived like he was dying.
Ĥe will be missed 😢
Good song. But I think it would have been better if Tim shown pictures of Toby through the year like he did for his dad when he originally did this song.
Things like that takes alot of time to set up with the stage crew. This was all made for toby on the fly.
I miss him I am housebound he text me everyday last year to check on mr my best angel love u 💓💗❤💛💖debbie

Old man in the back is living like hes dying!!

I was fine until I heard that cymbal roll and the first few notes
I don't think they differed in values. Reevaluate please
Thats more about Tim, than about Toby. A Toby Tribute would have some Toby songs in it. Very misleading.
Dick much? Its Tim's song yes but its the message more so.
You really are a piece of crap, aren't you Daniel. You have no effn heart.
Totally 2 different people, tim is a woke liberal and toby is a true American patriot, and that's a fact!
Love one another
too bad Tim is a Dumbocrat supporter...toby would be embarrassed..
Why not a song by Toby? McGraw is so arrogant
Don't be an ahole. This song is a bout his dad and losing him and TOBY.
