Hello from replay land! Vienna is a VIBE!!!!!! It was my first solo trip and I've gone back 6 times. The opera, the food, the museums...and it is SO easy to travel to other great European cities for cheap. Excellent choice.

There’s a Black woman on IG who just did a week in Pakistan. She had a great time in a beautiful country with friendly people and good food. The scenery was breathtaking.
ETA: I’m meaning to suggest Pakistan as a dupe for India. They share a border. There’s a daily parade at the border where the culture of each country is displayed.

Toronto is not boring. It’s a much cleaner and safer New York. The diversity of culture and food, the walkability, and safe, accessible public transportation are just a few reasons to love Toronto. The Canadian government should realize the treasure that this city is by investing in bringing down the cost of living in Toronto so that it continues to attract good people from around the world. But even though Toronto is one of the most expensive cities in the Western Hemisphere, you get so much more for your money in Toronto than overpriced and tired NYC. By the way, a part of me wants people from the USA to think Toronto is boring because I don’t want some USA people and corporations to negatively impact Toronto’s culture. If USA thinks Toronto is boring, maybe it will be left alone to double down on the values that can help it continue to be a healthy place to live.
Yep. I grew up 4 hours drive from Toronto, in NY state. Ppl up there go to Toronto instead of NYC. Toronto is much closer drive than NYC.
I do not really live in NY now, but I’ll tell, you, I have only visited NYC 3 and now I am eligible to retire!
I live in the mid-Atlantic region and this place where I live is a shorter distance to NYC than my home area elsewhere in NYS.
When my father was still in the workforce, he and my step mother were always going to Toronto to eat out, shopping and live music (like jazz and stuff) in clubs in Toronto.

Stay away from sausages before the Opera.😂You're so right about Paris while beautiful, (I was there in the 90s) found air quality not good, especially with the smoking. I would blow my nose after washing my face each evening and was alarmed - not good. I enjoyed time anyway.

I went to India on an organized cultural tour and it was amazing! Lots of ancient history. It's really a place to wander around alone.... But the ancient history blew my mind. The Taj Mahal is NOT everything

Stephanie, you need more exposure when it comes to Africa. Thinking that Nairobi could be a dupe for Capetown is a joke. Nairobi is not on the water. Don’t rush to make dupes if your geography is limited.

Hi, Stephanie! No, Nairobi is NOT on the water. The MOMBASA region IS on the Indian Ocean. The mountain region that I know personally in Kenya is the area of MOUNT KENYA, Africa's second highest mountain after Mount KILIMANJARO in Tanzania. More on this later, except that the culture in Mombasa, Kenya is rooted in that region's KEY role in SLAVERY and the Indian Ocean slave trade from East and Central Africa. Mombasa still has A MAJOR FORT- Fort JESUS - whose major role was imprisoning and trafficking Africans to the Middle East and Asia. 😞 Too many people do not know these facts about Kenya's Indian Ocean coast - Mombasa and that whole area! 🙏🏽✊🏽

If you want to avoid Bali, which I recommend, go to Lombok or one of the smaller Gili islands between Bali and Lombok. Flores was also beautiful. If I went back of checkout Sumbawa too. Bali is too overdone.
