Thanks mate really put a lot of time into making this film, so I can inspire more to seek the great outdoors rather than head in the sand with technology.
Cheers mate, I use the big Agnes copper spur HV UL 2. Its a bloody good lightweight 3 season set up, is only showing minor wear and tear after 40+ missions so pretty happy with it, highly recommend.
Another beautiful video mate. That is some rough country and normally lots of game. Sadly I understand it was recently culled and soon to have 1080 to kill rats and stoats. Goats are all the way south in the tops to Jacobs river . Look for to your next mission. 10/10 Ben.
Mate love showing how awesome our back country landscape is, just so good for the mind and body regardless of animal numbers. I use a lot of light weight gear, as every kg saved = greater performance of the hill. Two huge items I purchased was the sea to summit spark 3 sleeping bag and Big Anges cooper spur UL HV 2, they are amazing yet are expensive but well worth it!
Thanks for the reply, there's some great country to explore, love summer time for checking out new areas, look at a map and put the leg work in. I love the hunt for the wilderpeople line in the 2 doors to choose, def not choosing the burger ring door.
@@joebloggs6556 Yeah 100%, wouldn't do the missions I do without one. I've never had to use it but its a great safety net to have if something was ever to go terribly wrong.
Epic mate, best edit i have watched for a long time. Keep it up mate, we need to go for a hunt haha.
Cheers mate.
Cheers Mate, well if your down for a proper mentally and physically challenging mission just let me know haha.
@@bendb_wildaboutnz mate keen as froth on the hurt box
Bro, Impressive stuff, keep cashing those cheques. Looking forward to watching your other stuff.
Cheers mate, gotta love the grind! Nothing better than fueling the adventure spirit out in the southern alps!
Good shit Ben, that was easy to watch. Your videos are getting better and better. Cheers

Nice work bro, another "epic" alright. Good on you for laying the smack down in those stinkies.
Wicked trip, surprising to see those goats up so high.
Yeah I was too, I almost walked straight into them due to the clag haha.
Best vid I've seen in a while, love multi day big hill hunts.
Be interested in the gear you took in, shame about the animal numbers.

Sort ya mic out man, take your casing off the go pro. hard to hear.
Another thing....work smarter not harder.
Yeah mate looking at upgrading my go pro as its old as. Always been a battle trying to get the audio right on the go pro.
@@bendb_wildaboutnz I'm just running through your vids on your channel...gotta say top effort. Do you carry a PLB with you on your solo missions?
